[Don-kun]

Not everything about Hinata pertains to Naruto. She is also cares for her teammates and works to help her comrades.

This is a war and everyone is fighting so is obvious that we are going to see that, but lets not try to mix up what I really mean, when ever we get in Hinata's head she is thinking about Naruto, is either she wants to impress him, she want to fight for him or she in usually thinking about him, that is what I was referring to whenever Kishi gives us the chance to explore her mind we get Naruto-kun this Naruto- Kun that that's almost similar to the believe it, believe it form Naruto dub version.

I don't know about you, but i don't mind the believe it phrase... actually i prefer dub over sub.

There's so little of that compared to her "Naruto Kuning", many people myself included would respect Hinata if her love wasn't thz core of her character. It's not that hard just keep her love for Naruto but make it only part of her character, I sure would like her more in that case.

She does have some other plot points like how she wants to be aknowledged by her father over Hanabi and win over Neji's respect. However those have been resolved and besides those two, there is not much else other than Naruto. Sakura, though much of her story is based on Sasuke has other plot points such as her possible feelings for Naruto and for example, the relationship she made with Chiyo. This isn't saying Hinata is a bad character, its just the difference between main characters and supporting characters.

That's my point. You don't know what Kishi thinks about Hinata, her popularity not withstanding. It's his choice whether to develop Hinata or not, just as it is his choice whether to develop Shikamaru or not.
Her development feels like an asspull? Is this the NS shipper/anti-Hinata in you talking? Because if you look at the context of the story, her development honestly feels fitting to me.

Do you even read my comments or what ? How many times will I have to tell you that i don't give a kitten about NS and i don't care if NH happens, both ships are the same for me at this point aka crap.
I am really glad you found Hinata dzvelopment fitting I just find it terrible since it involved the death of an other character, the main character regressing yet again since he seems to never learn a lesson and needs to be reminded every time what he should do. It felt forced to me, if you don't see it that way good for you.

Next time please stop the assumptions it's getting tiring.

It's hard enough defending a character you're neutral towards, and much more so against an entire forum full of people who take every opportunity to criticize her for the same reasons that you dislike her for.

Don't worry I have no ulterior motive, I just like to discuss things with some of the people, there's a lot of good and objective poster here but let it be clear I am not here to spoil anyone's enjoyment, that's the last thing I hope for. As I said if some people are satisfied who am I to tell them they are wrong ? And who knows maybe Kishi will surprise me in a good way.

Then that makes us two weird Pro Fans, but I believe I develop this kind of behavior because of the exaggerated praise some character receive and the irrational hate other characters receive by the same group of people.

Well, looks like I'm not needed here. Everything is taken care of itself. I heard slextrem is doing a recap of all moments or something like that. That I can't wait.

Its not that Hinata is a bad character, she is just not fully explored by the author. For example, she has other plot points such as her relationship with Neji and her relationship with her father. Well, her character is about her being inspired by Naruto alas a super hero/role model and in a way, it's normal for her to love him because of inspiration. That said it's far as you can go with her character as she's not really about her learning more about Naruto and his personal feelings. That's Sakura's job, which is why we don't see Hinata interacts with Naruto. 559 is like the first part of chunnin exam development, while 615 is the last part of the development, which is the one when Hinata expressed her opinion on failures. We are seeing the closure of all K9 because it all returns to Chuunin exam, which is their first appearances. So yes, things will be clearer when we enter the next and perhaps last stage of the battle. We're almost there.

I just realized why I didn't consider Hinata's confession as a big deal when it happened.

Some people never shut up about how she put her life on the line in order to protect Naruto, but the thing is that actually everyone in the entire village during Pain's invasion prior to Naruto arriving was doing the exact same thing. Random ninjas that probably never even met Naruto were telling Pain to go kitten himself every time he kept asking for Naruto's location.

Hinata didn't do anything that others wouldn't have done in her stead. The only reason Kishi chose her was to further advance her character with the confession and to give an excuse for Naruto to go six-tails on Pain.
