So in chapter 700, they already were 12 yo ?
Sarada was better in that chapter...
ugly.

Really ? only female can use it....? [/quote]

We've only seen female Uzumakis use it before so maybe? I would have loved to have seen Naruto use that technique.

You really can't redeem killing innocent people, but he really shouldn't be a Kage don't know what the Sand Village were thinking. Sob Story doesn't matter when someone does really messed up things, do you see people crying about Madara's story (Which is the saddest in the series) or Orochimaru's?

Madara got the saddest? Not really. I mean content maybe, but the execution doesn't apply it all so well.

Yes. We learned that yesterday.

That's not a good thing for KIshi, SP and WSJ-SJ, assuming anything coming from NH will be hated by the Japs on 2chan.

@Ichigo: I'm very curious. Does Japan still call NH a sin from 2chan?

Ramen-kun said yesterday that they were called "Death God couple" or something like this  :chuckle:

If you are using this type of view then you should consider Sasuke also killed innocent people, not only the Samurai at the summit but its hinted he dealt with the cloud ninja Jay

But really it doesn't matter if the sob story is the saddest or something like that, just if its good structured, makes sense and works regarding character development.

Gaara's sob story makes sense, his early behavior was not only influenced by Shukaku who had a hold on him a lot bigger than kyuubi's hold on Naruto but also by the fact that Gaara's "Iruka", the only person who cared about him tried to kill him, its understandable why Gaara became like that and why he changed thans to his interaction with Naruto.

His backstory is a lot more cohesive and good structured than some of the backstories showed in part 2, as an example we have Kabuto's backstory

Considering that Naruto himself didn't use the chains, I doubt Bolt will. Speaking of the chains, are they a type of kekkei genkai?

It would be interesting to learn that the chains are an exclusive perk of the women in the clan - a sort of inheritance that the matriarchal line can call their own that awards them authority and strength greater than that of the men of their clan. You always see how the men are typically the dominant force in other notable groups such as the Uchiha and Senju. The Uzumaki would distinguish themselves in that regard. Of course Kishi would never allow for something like this.

if bolt warned naruto then bolt wouldn't exist, and most importantly we wouldn't be able to ship bolt and sarada.

Actually, if Bolt went to the past to stop Naruto falling in love with Hinata, thus erasing his own existense, he wouldn't exist to go to the past to warn Naruto, thus preventing Naruto falling in love with Hinata is impossible

This

Hinata seems to be a housewife with no responsibility and is not seeing Naruto much. She is still mourning for Neji after all these years. Its almost like she is mourning the person she should have ended  up with.

Salad looks too much like Karin, it looks like an obvious hint that Kishi wanted sasuke x karin.

Hmm, while it's genetically a-ok for first cousins to marry and have children (if this, erm, 'incest light' doesn't happen too often down the line), i don't think this applies when the respective uncle/aunt are actually twins like Hiashi and Hizashi.

We already have a picture of the Senju and Uzumaki clans standing together and the the Uzumaki clan leader is a man, so no, there is no inclination towards matriarchiality in the Uzumaki clan.

I'm aware of this. I was referring to a matriarchal hegemony strictly in the sense of combat prowess.

No, this would actually create a different timeline, one where Burrito's actions caused Naruto to not be a scumbag, and other where due to Burrito not existing anymore, Naruto would fall into the same pit.

They weren't innocent, they attacked him and he dealt with them in self defense.

Only person who cared for him? So Temari and Kankoru don't matter.

I agree his backstory was great, I just can't feel sorry for someone who kills like he does.

Lol @ Madara's story being the saddest in the series. Nah, Gaara's was sadder.

Eh, Madara lived in a time of war and was forced to fight against his BF at his childhood days, he had to ruin the friendship cause of his dad, he lost his brother (Who he loved more than Itachi loved Sasuke) to his BF's brother, his brother dying wish was to protect the Uchiha, the Uchiha disownded him, and the Leaf didn't acknowledge him even though he was a Co Founder, only Hashirama and Tobirama did.

Gaara's was sad too probably the second but he found happiness unlike Madara and I was talking about life which is way Itachi, Sasuke, and Madara rank above Gaara.......

I think only pure Uzumakis like Karin and Kushina could use them. It baffles me that we know more about Sasuke's clan than the MAIN character's clan.

Hmm, i don't think it would work that way in a rather violent world. The strongest is most likely going to end up as the leader (just like the Hokage practically needs to be the strongest Ninja in the village) because he/she is the 'first protector' of the clan/village as seen with the clans in Konoha (Aburame, Inuzuka etc.).
It wouldn't make sense for the strongest person not to be the leader of the whole.

Well, this is a topic that can be debated endlessy. Gotta love time-travel and multi-verse theorems :pimp: .

And no, if Kishimoto or whoever is in charge of the character now has even one ounce of logic or knowledge about genetics, then it should have been clear that you can only have one 'kekkei genkai' - the chains or the Byakugan. And we all know that the Byakugan should be the dominant trait.

I wouldn't be surprised if she did. But who would teach her how to use chains since Naruto never used them before?

I sincerely hope not. The little spawn is even less Uzumaki than Naruto was. It's more likely to acquire the Byakugan thanks to its damnable incubator/stalker of a mother. If I were in its shoes, I would hope to receive neither and try to improve based on my own merit instead of leeching off biological inheritances for my success.

Leadership is about more than just power or combat aptitude. To be an effective Hokage, you need to have proper managerial know-how, the ability to compromise with your council, consideration for the opinions of the public and constituency (which is supposedly the Jonin), and the patience to sit behind a desk and fill out paperwork. Having the intelligence to make innovative improvements to the infrastructure of the village like Hashirama and Tobirama did is also a plus.

Besides, it's not like every leader in Konoha was the absolute strongest. Hiruzen and Tsunade's power statuses were challenged by various people such as Kakashi, Naruto, Danzo, and Guy. They weren't necessarily the most powerful at the time of their Hokageship
