Speaking of WSJ, I heard there's something special coming for Death Note 10th Anniversary. I almost feel like squealing like fangirl yet I'm a guy.

But on topic, Naruto volume 68 cover should be coming soon, so I do wonder how they will present it. You know, if it continues the way it do for this volume, how much space is Kishi going to use to showcase the theme.

Maybe when Naruto wakes up and they hug on the floor like the ova. I don't think another hug while they're standing is going to happen twice. Some change is better XD

Yep @Redragon88 put it up in here (damn him i can't put that word out of my head   ) it seems that the Japanese fandom calls the NS CPR scene a "Deep Kisuu" which is funny , wile we here are arguing whether to call it  a CPR or kiss of life they are having fun there and are clamming that NS is cannon .  ,

When it comes to the cover of Volume 68, We know for a fact that Naruto and Obito will be on the cover regardless. I have heard many theories that the cover will be like Volume 48 with Naruto and Nagato. I'm not against the idea, but I don't see that happening. I picture Naruto and Obito in some kind of battle stance with possibly young obito and Rin as the background.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Volume covers come out two weeks before the release date. I remember the covers for volume 66 and 67 came out early.

I'm gonna repost what I wrote yesterday for those who haven't see from where that "deep kisu" come from:

 

You know, it’s such a pleasure to see Japanese fan’s reaction to this chapter, compared to Western fans.  Everywhere you go, you see reactions to NS CPR, and the best part is that I practically only see it called “kisu”, “deep kisu”, or “first kisu”. And they are not arguing about the purpose of that “kiss”, they are just paying attention to the gesture, it’s the contact that seems to catch their attention. It’s really a matter of culture.

 

And as far as I remember, there were not so much reactions to NH handholding, while it was one of the main arguments of NH fans: the Japanese culture, they don’t show so much intimacy in public, so it means NH is canon to them. While it’s true that they were a bit disturbed by the handholding, we’re clearly on another level with the NS Kiss.

And as I said in the chapter thread, they were already claiming canon after chapter 631, so now with the “kiss”, it’s a solid confirmation of the pairing.

 

But the most funny part, is that now, I see a little fight between SN fans and NS fans, like SN fans “Well, Sasuke is Naruto’s first kiss” and NS fans “Sakura has French kissed Naruto” lol it’s far better than seeing the pairing war between NH/SS and NS with things like “She’s just doing her job as a medic nin”, “I see no emotion from Sakura”, “To me it’s a confirmation that NS won’t happen”

All in all, it’s such a different mood.

 

Sorry for the ranting, just wanted to share it with you guys and thought you would be glad to know the Japanese fans reaction to the latest chapter and the big NS moment.

I believe we will see them in about two weeks from today. We're closing in the middle of February already, so I believe we are going to see it soon.
