Even Makarov underestimated him. The funny thing is how Orga was set up to be his rival this whole time, only to be thrown to the side so Laxus could prove himself at Wizard Saint level. Laxus vs. Jura definitely wasn't a fight I was expecting a few weeks back! I wasn't expecting him to use a Secret Art either, as I assumed that was unique to 1st/3rd generation slayers (the ones that were actually trained by dragons).

Anyways, I'm curious if we're gonna see FT members be instated as Wizard Saints now. I think it's safe to say Laxus and Gildarts are both at that level (unless Laxus has secretly been the guild's Ace all along). Erza might be as well, seeing as how she's been so OP without using Second Origin so far.

Gray/Juvia and Erza fights next week should be good. If next week is the climax, I wonder what Sting's gonna do. If that opening page is anything to go by, defeating Kagura will likely secure Lector's safety, so he might lose motivation if Sting discovers that.

Someone should counter it with a hug comparison. That will be a low blow. Btw, as funny it may sound, but that holding in FT has better presentation than Naruto because it's palm to palm. But I digress. I got to give hopes to NH before the end, right?

But the article also says that Hiro wants people to wait a little so that he can announce some good news. I do wonder what those are.

If I had to guess, the anime is just gonna take a break for a while, since it's kinda catching up on the manga. From what I gather, the anime just reached the Naval Battle where Minerva tortures Lucy, so it's right on Mashima's tail right now. Bleach did the same thing a while back, and the anime's gonna start up again at the end of the month. I think it's just a way to keep the anime from catching up on the manga without boring fans with lengthy filler episodes. It'll probably build up a little hype too, when it comes back on.

That was actually my favorite part of the chapter. It was another glimpse at how much of a positive impact Natsu has had on Laxus. He already acknowledged him at the end of the Fighting Festival Arc, and this seemed to tie into that, at least IMO.

I guess, in Naruto terms, you could say this Laxus's "Gaara" moment. It's showing us just the extent of Natsu's influence in Laxus's current personality.

Now we get to see Yama's Bankai in Full Epic Animation Glory!!! before he bites the dust... and oh ZaraUno goodness too. Bet you big bucks they'll milk the hell out of that pairing.

Now I have one question, will a new studio handle it or will Pierrot handle it again?? I hope not for the latter because Shippuden's about to reach the episode with you-know-who appears. I seriously don't want Bleach to disrupt it.

P.S.: Anybody think we'll have a new title for it??

He said it's a new contract, so it might mean it's a new studio animating it. I guess that doesn't really mean anything though. I don't mind Pierrot's work during the canon episodes, and since I don't really follow Naruto anymore, I really wouldn't be bothered by it continuing with the same studio. Though I'd imagine with Naruto being a larger fanbase, they'd still put more work into outputting those episodes. If it is a different studio, maybe they could add a subtitle to present it as the final arc (Bleach: Final Chapter / Bleach: Thousand Year Battle). But that's assuming they don't squeeze any more non-sensical filler arcs into it.

I'm also psyched to see the Stern Ritter and Kenpachi fights animated. I hope they draw out it a little though, I felt it was a bit rushed in the manga. It seemed like Byakuya and Yama were only the ones to do anything on-panel.

Oh dang, I'd love to see how either of those studios handle Bleach. I don't think I could survive on a single arc of BONES doing it though; they better do a Bleach...Shinigamihood...or something.

If was MADHOUSE, I'd really like to see how they do Quilge's freaky chimera form. They did a good job with some of the freakiness in Death Note, so that'd probably be a good fit too.

If the animation studio did change though, I just hope they keep the same music composer. The Bleach OSTs are just so good.

That's a shame. While not a fan, I do think it should at least finish it, even though it's not really done. It's rather sad to see the ratings for it going down quick. So much, Toriko is now the headline along with One Piece and Naruto. How did that happen?
