Right i swear if something doesn't happen to show where relationships are heading soon, i'll go to the authors myself and kick their arse! Half of Konoha is destroyed. Sasuke is with Akatski, Kabuto has Orichimarus arm attached to him for his powers and only half the akatski is dead...so there is loads more to go but they have dragged this on for long enough now. Hinata has confessed and Naruto now knows who his father was...The storyline with Peins past, who cares?! hurry and end it so we can get back to the village and what the hell is happening!!!!!

Everyone will probably swarm Naruto for he is a hero and Tsunade will have a lot to answer for about his past...there are funerals to have and a village to rebuild and i bet the love aspect gets put aside again!!! It's getting irritating now and i'm growing impatient. Even in Inuyasha they confessed their love in subtle ways without a kiss and with rivalry!!!

Yeah i know i am getting my hopes up, but there have been some animes with subtle hints, which are enough for me...but if they can make hinata confess they can sure as hell make sakura!

I don't recommend stepping in troll-breeding grounds like NarutoFan... or reading comments of other fans. Naruto pairing wars kill my dwindling faith and hope in the human being.

Every time I poke my head in places like Naruto Fan, Naruto Forums or Youtube, I beat a hasty retreat. EVERY bloody time. I can't stomach so much rudeness, pompous arrogance and blatant disrespect. It's unbelievable how rude can people be over a FICTIONAL PAIRING of a FANTASY TALE.

I have a hard time caring for the opinion of someone starts his/her post with a "Bwahahahaha! What an idiot you are!", and doesn't know what caps and punctuation marks are used for.

Of course they don't care. They have never cared for Naruto's feelings.

It's very ironical when they tell that Sakura doesn't deserve him because she's very mean with poor Naruto. They talk like if they CARED for Naruto and his feelings.

Me too. I'll take Touch, Kimagure Orange Road, Oh! My Goddes, Maison Ikkoku or Video Girl Ai rather CArd Captor Sakura anytime.

Regarding a possible NaruSaku confession... Confessions are overrated and usually don't work in this manga. Canon relationships (AsuKure, MinaKushi...) in this manga have been mostly hinted. I'd rather a kiss or some scene where it's heavily hinted Naruto and Sakura will end up together. That wouldn't stop the pairing wars, but it'd be nice.

However, don't expect Kishimoto settles that matter before the end of the series, if he ever does.

That's because I'm so skeptical about Hinata's confession raising NaruHina's chances up. NaruHina hasn't been developed in over three hundred chapters. Kishimoto had few chances for developing it, given that Hinata is a secondary character, and he has wasted them systematically (on the other hand, he's wasted some chances for developing NaruSaku, but Sakura is a lead character, shows up a lot and interacts frequently with Naruto, so Kishimoto can afford it). Hinata's confessed too late for developing NaruHina properly, and at the same time, too soon to solve the "Who will Naruto hook up with?" subplot. And there's NOT been a buildup on Naruto's side.

So I don't see him accepting her. I suspect he'll reject her or she'll give up/step aside willingly, and then move on. Or perhaps we won't see so soon a scene where he rejects or reciprocates her feelings because if he rejects her, it'll be obvious who he'll end up with.

Then again, Sasuke turned Sakura down over two hundred fifty chapters ago. It should have been -more- obvious who she'd end up with, and posterior development should have cemented that belief. Still, SasuSaku fans insist on she'll end up with Sasuke.

So maybe Kishimoto shouldn't get worried about giving away the end. Even if Naruto turns Hinata down gently in the next chapter, fans will still believe whatever they want (pretty much like us, I guess).

owh i think i'm same with u...bcos of the confession, i feel desperate sometimes when i remember that again, even though i feel so happy when i watch many ns hints in anime.
yea...u right, many are waiting for good moments, for good chapters, so am i, i still have faith on ns coz i luv them lol.

but i just cannot accept if sakura was rejected by sasuke, naruto would accept hinata coz of that confession. hey, if confession is enough to get someone, won't everybody, including sakura, can do it? love isn't that easy, it's not a spontaneous feeling, but a progress. if love is that easy, everybody can get it easily too.

and naruto, how about his feeling for sakura? sure he couldn't just take it down just for giving hinata chance. naruto had to pay much for getting sakura, from his fight against gaara, and making a promise of a life time. remembering naruto isn't a liar, so making that promise isn't that easy for him.

so...that reason keeps me believe that ns will actually happen...at the right moment!!
don't worry, as many comics i've read, main character will be with the girl at the end of the story. so, don't you think that the confession is too fast?

It's a typical shounen manga stereotype that the female character punches, berates, ect. the character she's in love with.

Gee, when I read her first appearance (girl appears, main character tells he likes her, girl shouts to him, punches him, and claims hating him, and later she's reconsidering her attitude), I thought: "canon couple". Sincerely, I thought it couldn't be more blatantly obvious.

And then I read the next chapters and I thought the author couldn't make it EVEN MORE obvious.

And then I met fandom.

Anyway, it's right like Ichigo says. It's very tipical in shonen manga and anime. Ranma, Slayers, Dragon Ball, Mazinger-Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, City Hunter, Inu-Yasha, Kimagure Orange Road, Yaiba... It'd be easier -and shorter- naming the shonen manga/anime where female lead character and the boy she punches and/or claims loathing DON'T get together.

Nonetheless, I don't understand why you take it seriously. Those punches are comic relief. Naruto is fine in the next panel (you'll realize he doesn't magically heal between pannels when the injuries or the scene where he got injured are serious), and he would abe able to dodge it easily if he wanted.

However I must correct you: you told she still punched Naruto. That is untrue. The last time happened in chapter 298 (one hundred fifty chapters ago). Kishimoto uses that cliche, but he doesn't abuse it and isn't slave to it.

I find tiresome when someone tells Sakura hits Naruto the whole time. She DOESN'T do that, and it wouldn't mean she hates him, not matter what.
