Eh , let's just say that w/out a sequel, TG has one of the most unsatisfying ending in the history of manga. no kitten.

I think the ending would be fine. I didn't mind the ending of TG, simply because I knew of RE when I started. I can't imagine how I would have felt if I had known about TG before the ending. But then again, the ending left so much up in the air anyway lol
