After all we got in the past few chapters, I don't really mind a small SS moment. Everything was still Sakura ---> Sasuke, so as long as Sasuke doesn't suddenly realize he's loved Sakura all along, we're fine.
To be honest, Sakura's power-up (and this chapter) was kind of ruined for me by people overreacting on both sides. I know others have pointed it out, but the Rookie 9 all acted like they used to in early Part 1; Kiba being a hot-head, Hinata stuttering, Naruto vying for Sakura's attention, Sasuke being an uncaring individual, and Sakura "fangirling" over Sasuke. It was a clever move by Kishi, really.
But now it really seems like Kishi is trying to reestablish the NaruSakuSasu love triangle again. I still don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
I thought it was good move on Kishi to make it look like Team 7 days without going back to the old days. Sasuke showed up first, yet Naruto came late and complain. Sakura told him not to complain something minor or else even she will take the Hokage's spot. Long time ago, it was her being fangirl, Naruto acting like a little kid like, "Oh oh! What about me!?" and Sakura will just think he's annoying him, as Naruto will be like comedy "ah!", while Sasuke smirks since he's cocky. Now, it's done differently. Sasuke came first to cause her react, while Naruto got there late and got jealous, which Sakura tell her not to take it hard on minor thing or he will lose position to Hokage to her, which made Naruto go "Ah!" reaction, while Sasuke tells him to not get in his way, like rival. Plus, Sakura is no longer mean to Naruto, rather messing with him. An upgrade for Team 7 interaction. Well, Sasuke is same, but hey what can you do.
Anyway, NS vs. SS has ignited. Let's see who will rise up top.
100% agree all our theories are coming true altough at first I was doubtful because of the Hinata's stuff I am now completely confident there's no other way to go, Kishi is tying all loose ends and that's why the bench scene will be revisited there's no other way around it we have too much on our side to be frightened about other pairing moments at this point, all the pieces of the puzzle are starting to fit in perfectly.
As you said it's all about "how" it will happen not "if". I know we will still have some SS stuff but this time around I won't fall for Kishi's tricks.
Props to you for keeping your calm during the Nh stuff.
Thank you. It's funny because the more passing chapters goes before 631, the more I start to think NH was never a threat to begin with. It's really just SS. That said the problem is that Kishi played the parallel card too soon, so now, SS is on a ticking time bomb, which can't be deactivated, only postpone. So yeah, I know I feel cocky, but it's really hard to go back now. Right now, Kishi is giving the last hurrah to Team 7, because now that Sasuke's motive has become a mystery, one can say that he will apart with Team 7 and no going back until maybe the very end, but hard to say. It seems like Team 7 reunion happened now because something Sasuke's related will happen and trying to become Hokage is a huge mystery on how can he be one.
