Interesting.The thing is, romance is minimal in this series. It really does focus on Yona's character development and that of her friends' more than anything else.
The guy she had a crush on (so the Douche love interest) initially turns out to her father's murderer in Ch.1, so yeah. And her bodyguard and best friend is strong from the start (so the weaksauce nice guy). They've been friends for years with him teasing her nonstop, but it is only after the events that she begins to develop romantic feelings for him. And when I say develop, REALLY subtle.
How is this not getting popular. Sigh. 50 Shades. I got to remind myself that.
