Dear Lord this movie will be the biggest piece of crap in the history of anime movies. I'm curious to know if the Japanese fans will swallow the NH pairing after this. They're probably still shocked that Kishimoto killed the NS pairing after 15 years of development, for a pairing that happened in 1 chapter. Then using a 90 minute movie as backup to give that forced/rushed pairing that same level of development, which is impossible to do (1 chapter + 90 minute movie will never out beat 15 years of development). I bet my soul when the Japanese fans watched the movie they will scream "WTF did I just watched?!"

Well...I was being generous. I remember one funny thought from NC that the movie actually have a flashback and said, "Yeah, all two of them." That's the feeling I get with the movie if that does happen.

Y'know, instead of this cheesy kitten, I think a better scenario would've been like this, if they still wanted the development to be Hinata-centric. Have her as the co-villain together with Toneri. He could just put a genjutsu on her, (along with some convincing) and turn her against Naruto, believing he abandoned/rejected her. While that is his true intention, either Sakura or Naruto himself snap herself out of her hidden self-absorbed personality that Toneri awakened. Either one of them tells her that she can continue living without Naruto's love.

When all is said and done, they "end" their relationship on a good note.

Of course. Since NaruSaku was completely unintentional from Kishimoto and his team, it's no wonder this is the best they can do when they mean it.
