I'd be lying right now if I said reading some of the Anti-NS hasn't made me kittening disgusted.

I feel extremely vindictive as hell right now. I want their reality to come crashing down like a building with no solid foundation.

And people have convinced themselves that Sakura is still going to heal Sasuke after finishing with Naruto... I'm wondering if they just look at the manga images only

 

You know, no matter how much Sakura shows her love to Naruto, how much she shows she cares about him, until the romantic subplot is resolved SS will always say "Well, if it's Sasuke she would show even more emotion" or "She would go to greater lengths for Sasuke".

 

When you boil it down the only thing that SS say to justify themselves is "because she loves him", that's basically their answer to any argument that's against their pairing. No matter how negative the pairing is or how detrimental is for Sakura's character it's all alright "because she loves him".

 

- Sakura growing closer to Naruto? Doesn't matter. Sasuke is more important to her "because she loves him".

 

- Foreshadowing that symbolizes Naruto and Sakura ending together? Irrelevant. Sasuke is who she'll be with "because she loves him".

 

- Development showing that Sasuke is not suited to make Sakura happy? Who cares. They shall be together "because she loves him".

 

- Another girl that loves Sasuke and has been a bigger focus to his Part 2 story? Foolishness. Only Sakura matters "because she loves him".

 

- The story showing that Sasuke doesn't see Sakura in a romantic light? Nonsense. He'll see the light "because she loves him".

I'm usually not the type to get invested in pairing endgames (I didn't give a damn at ATLA or HP endings AT ALL) but this one? Yeah. I don't want to say I've taken it personal par se, but at the same time, I've been disrespected way too much for me to just completely separate everything. My opinions being attacked, ME being attacked, both personally and whatnot.  You might say I shouldn't have an emotional investment in this, but that ship sailed a LONG time ago. I want blood. I want salt. I want tears.

SasuSaku arguments are just so .... . They're so ridiculous and full of holes, I can't even be mad at them. I actually pity them sometimes. I feel like those fans forget that this manga is revolving around Naruto, not Sasuke. And even if it was about Sasuke, so what? He clearly has no interest in Sakura and if we're sticking to the main character's "feelings", SasuSaku still wouldn't happen.

 

I also dislike when they act like NaruSaku fans focus solely on Naruto's feelings and that we're apparently "insensitive" to Sakura's true feelings and desires.  That's one of the arguments that always offends me and my status as a Sakura fan. Sure, I could maybe support her love for Sasuke. That is, if he actually cared and wasn't an entirely self-centered jerk (and I am a Sasuke fan). If we're supporting Sakura's happiness, then the person she has smiled around and been happy with the most was Naruto throughout all of Part 2.

 

Sasuke is just not Sakura's happiness relationship-wise ... he never was, even if she genuinely cares for him. He's too cold and detached for someone like her; she'd always feel like there was something missing between them IMO and that's the downfall of SS if it was ever taken seriously. I feel like one of Sakura's childhood delusions was that Sasuke was just "cold on the outside" and if she was there for him enough and loved him enough, he'd break down his walls and actually show an affectionate side that she always seemed to crave. Problem is Sasuke doesn't really have an affectionate side, he's aloof and distant even with those he really cares about. Naruto's the complete opposite of that. He's warm, selfless, devoted, and loving. He'd be a great partner for her and I think that's how Sakura would be truly happy. It's like all of the affection and warmth she wanted to believe was in Sasuke was in Naruto all along. (I think Ch. 3  really foreshadows this trait of NaruSaku & Sakura's love desires)

 

SasuSaku is just a fanfic couple ... I scarcely take it seriously anymore.

And get this... someone actually convinced himself that Sasuke is the driving force behind NaruSaku. He literally believe's that Naruto and Sakura are only friends because they each want to have Sasuke return to the village. And that chapters 469 and 470 are the chapters that resolved NaruSaku, because somehow Naruto has "accepted" that Sakura will never love him, as they put it.... 

 

The lengths people go just to try and make their shipping sound canon like... Yup, it's utterly wrong for Sakura to have her feelings change over time, but a guy like Naruto is allowed to move on  ¬_¬ (give me a break). And yes, he's also one of what feels like an infinite number of people who feel Naruto though Minato was joking when asked if Sakura was his GF...

You know, it’s such a pleasure to see Japanese fan’s reaction to this chapter, compared to Western fans.  Everywhere you go, you see reactions to NS CPR, and the best part is that I practically only see it called “kisu”, “deep kisu”, or “first kisu”. And they are not arguing about the purpose of that “kiss”, they are just paying attention to the gesture, it’s the contact that seems to catch their attention. It’s really a matter of culture.

 

And as far as I remember, there were not so much reactions to NH handholding, while it was one of the main arguments of NH fans: the Japanese culture, they don’t show so much intimacy in public, so it means NH is canon to them. While it’s true that they were a bit disturbed by the handholding, we’re clearly on another level with the NS Kiss.

And as I said in the chapter thread, they were already claiming canon after chapter 631, so now with the “kiss”, it’s a solid confirmation of the pairing.

 

But the most funny part, is that now, I see a little fight between SN fans and NS fans, like SN fans “Well, Sasuke is Naruto’s first kiss” and NS fans “Sakura has French kissed Naruto” lol it’s far better than seeing the pairing war between NH/SS and NS with things like “She’s just doing her job as a medic nin”, “I see no emotion from Sakura”, “To me it’s a confirmation that NS won’t happen”

All in all, it’s such a different mood.

 

Sorry for the ranting, just wanted to share it with you guys and thought you would be glad to know the Japanese fans reaction to the latest chapter and the big NS moment.

Hinata wouldn't be able to keep him alive, the mouth to mouth isn't enough, Sakura has to also do the heart massage.

I get what you mean, and of course it would be game over for us. Imagine Hinata "kissing" Naruto while Sakura is unlocking a new power for Sasuke... Of course NS would be game over. And that's why, seeing things like this, I don't understand the obstinacy of NH/SS fans, it's pretty clear what Kishimoto's intentions are. But whatever.

In all honesty, she didn't. It's all about how he keep being looked down, but he continues on because he believes in himself, so he got stronger and stronger, and that's encouraging to her.

I wish I knew japanese so that I could hang out with those guys.    They have such a better attitude about this chapter.

 

I certainly wouldn't mind making some posts about the "deep kisu".

 

What's cool about them is that they get that Sakura is not trying to be romantic, but that lip contact is such a rare thing to see in shounen manga that it's worth making a big deal out of it, even if it's in a joking manner.

 

It also helps that since NS is considered canon to them since 631 that all of Sakura's actions towards Naruto aren't being compared to what she could do for Sasuke. They just enjoy how Naruto and Sakura keep getting closer together without worrying about any stupid "pairing war".

 

To them it's just a matter of time before Sakura realizes her feelings, and each event that happens beforehand is simply one step taken to get closer towards that objective, as has been the last 2 chapter. In the west, on the other hand, people still remain divided on whether Sakura will stop loving Sasuke or not, so every action she makes is always coldly dissected for analysis instead of simply being enjoyed.

 

From my part I just want to enjoy this chapter without caring about others thinking that "I'm getting too confident". Let haters just keep hating, if the japanese can brush it off why can't we?

She never did. She simply admired his determination to not give up, which gave her confidence. Hinata has never thought about Naruto's personal wishes, just in how his personality is an inspiration to her.

 

Sakura, on the other hand, thrives in understanding (or at least trying to understand) Naruto's inner self, which is why she was able to easily communicate his desires to the alliance in chapter 630.

 

Besides, Naruto and Sakura have already done a "deep kisu", Hinata fall too far behind.

So here is what i gather from the western fandom for now :

 

What Sakura's doing now for Naruto she would have done it for anyone it's her job  , The Sakura and Karin parallel scene is just to show us that Naruto and Sasuke are really dying that's the meaning of the parallels  ,  Karin was the only one as sensor who can confirm the situation of Sasuke to her team and the audience that was her role she's has no importance than that   ,   Sakura display and growth regarding  Naruto is under the context of T7 she is his comrade and teammate that was her goal to save both Naruto and Sasuke , The next who she will save is Sasuke just you wait , Sasuke and Sakura still have much things that needs to be resolved whether we like it or not , Karin will not be important regarding Sasuke at all her role will end here , Sakura wanting to protect Naruto's dream doesn't mean a thing since of course she will want to because he's her best friend or like a brother to her so it's normal , CPR it's just that CPR it has no other meaning .

 

That's all i got for now and man do i want to laugh at this but suddenly wile typing this i got sad and the urge to cry  .
