What if this is the aftermath of Hinata's confession, like she confesses on the way to Neji's grave and Naruto gives her a stern talking to. One can hope lel.

The whole chasing after him talk IMO was implying that she'll finally catch up with him = walking next to him, holding his hand = she was sure they'll end up together.

Yeah, IT confirmed that being his gf is what she meant.

LOL as if they were going to spoil the couples now, with the pairing wars still on fire and no period from Kishi XD I take this as a NS hint tbh, it's almost the same as saying "NH won't happen so this is not spoiling anything" oh well...

IT is a dream about things that will never happen.

I doubt Hinata is counting on Neji's revival for example.

now do you understand why I consider NH the biggest threat of the movie for us? SS can become canon if only Naruto falls in love with Hinata (lol). So if there will be NH, then also SS will be. That's why I don't have faith in Kishimoto. I am not giving up, I am just much cautious abou it. It's obvious that Hinata will have a big role in this movie, just sad that she will be a pairing fodder, whether she will be the love interest or not. But Hinata as main heorine of the story just flips me out.

NS is a spoiled baby. NS has everything :
- Naruto's parents approving of Sakura*
- Naruto loving Sakura in a manga where the title character is bound to get all he ever wanted
- Sakura caring deeply about Naruto at the very least
- their common obssession over Sasuke
- the CPR scene, with sakura kissing Naruto and fondling his heart.
 
And you still get mad at the rival  ship getting tiny scraps of nothingness. That's not ver nice.

I don't think they look depressed at all. I am afraid it's the "I have something to tell you, wait for me scene !" Naruto here is trying to gain up confidence to confess. Hinata is waiting.

 

Whether they look happy or not, it's the theme song's cover. It's a love song, and it's illustrated by Naruto and Hinata. Not Sakura.

so when you build up confidence, you get your hand in your pocket. I didn't think about Neji death (because that kind of make most sense too and I'm still not over how he die) . But that right there, is 100% sure that it is not how Naruto build confidence. Plus, Naruto know how Hinata feel, why he would need to build confidence.

The quality of their art looks very selective to me. Remember the Pain arc and how overly detailed Hinata's animation looked? Try comparing them to those infamous Pain!Yahiko frames... Or that filler episode with mecha!Naruto was very well animated, but it's painful to look at Jyuubi!Obito.

I won't even get started on how the quality of openings and endings went to kitten.

Some of the series get remastered versions like hunterxhunter or fma:b, but I doubt Naruto will get one since it's too much work & most people are probably not as picky as we are lol.

 

I'm not impressed by #166. Although my discouragement from watching the anime and the mental comparisons I create to judge Pierrot's style when pitted against Kishi's art style do influence my opinion. The budget for each individual episode is stunted because of the extensiveness of the series. Hopefully The Last receives some higher quality animation, but these still images aren't helping to persuade certain viewers that they're of any comparable quality to the manga. 

 

I think Kishi has mostly coloured the rasengan mostly, I can only recall three times he's coloured it yellow, and then another time he coloured the rasenshuriken yellow... I think he coloured it orange once or twice -- when Naruto wasn't kyuubified. I wonder if he was influenced by the anime in regard to its colour...

And about Ino's eye colour. he coloured them blue in part one and a couple times in part two (like the first Team 10 volume cover, and the RTN poster). SP's colour scheme of Ino (blue eyes, pale blonde hair) is based on the first coloured version of Ino Kishi did, the volume cover where she was with Sakura.

Kishi can be inconsistent when it comes to certain colours...

 

Kishi can be inconsistent, but in the case of Naruto's Rasengan colouring, it was directly mentioned in the manga itself that his chakra colour was yellow. So it's not just aesthetic preferences at stake. Pierrot is substituting fact with artistic opinion.

We might know more today.

Sakura's love was one of the things Naruto was envious for and one of the reason he isn't looking forward to beat Sasuke as he is now. It will all depend of what he says today. He might actually admit he wanted to "steal Sakura's love (among other things, I doubt he'll be so straightforward) without being her rebound guy or says without competition, the things he took from Sasuke (friends, cheerings from the village, Sakura) have no value, in which case he never loved Sakura in the first place, but just wanted to be loved like Sasuke was. In which case, NS would be dead.

 

The dialogue more or less ended with Naruto asking Sasuke if he agreed, so Sakura's fate wll be settled by Sasuke's decision to compete or not on those things.

In order for nh to become canon couple in movie, it need :
Naruto give up on sakura or sakura reject naruto confession.

I don't think Hinata will take over sakura role knowing the fact that from all 3 movie appearance Hinata never become heroine. Either sakura or movie version of sakura.
Don't forget that sakura is representation of naruto romantic love.
She's the romance of this manga.

Either the movie gonna be a canonization of nh or NS movie with Hinata as the roman spice. We will get the answer in December, if not early November.

What is sticking like a hot poker in my brain is how horribly awkward this all is. How just out of nowhere this all feels and why everything else is so tight lipped, but apparently talking about NH or Hinata being a heroine is not spoiling anything in the movie? We all have been reading Naruto for 15 years now and Kishimoto just has his own feel to it. This doesn't feel like Kishimoto's work. All the SP advertisements always seem to tell a completely different story all the time and even in the anime fillers tells something completely different. It just doesn't feel right.

It also is confusing me to no end how apparently talking about Sasuke's role in the movie or Naruto's and Sakura's relationship in the movie or even Kakashi being hokage is always censored or cut off mid sentence like they don't want to spoil anything, but some how are so free to say "Yeah, Hinata is the heroine and NH is canon" without anyone saying "Isn't that s huge spoiler?"

This isn't even from a personal viewpoint, but a logical one. They can't talk about anything else in this movie or can only give teases here and there, but when it comes to Hinata's role and her love interest it is all of sudden okay to spoil it? Something doesn't seem right. When I read these summaries of this movie or look other things, it doesn't feel like Kishimoto had a hand in it. It doesn't feel like Kishimoto is always in control and when he isn't, SP just goes hog wild with the Hinata bantering.
