I feel sorry for Japan, all this time we thought the reason for their low birthrates was because of them working too hard and not having enough time to form relationships, when infact it's because they met their true love in Elementary school, and the girls the boys like are still pining over their first crush.

 

This is such a good point. Why does Obito get a happy ending? Is Rin a terrible woman? Shouldn't she be pining away in the afterlife for Kakashi? Or is it just because Obito is a cool guy and Naruto is a loser?

Reading the manga and considering the movie, it gives me the impression Kishimoto had jackkitten to do with The Last. It gives me the impression he was either left out of the loop or simply didn't care. Perhaps SP and his editors were wearing him down over time whilst they went ahead with production, and by the time manga was ending, they got him onboard, put his name on it, and called it a day. Maybe it was initially meant to be a closure film for Hinata, but then made into canonisation for NaruHina.

It was a sign. I mean, no one in this manga ends up with the one their lips touched first, so Hinata had to kiss the ground before Naruto. Kishimoto, you're a genius. So that's what this panel was for! Not to show how useless she was when Naruto needed help! Omg everything makes sense now.

Assuming this is real, we have a brief reprieve before the movie's actual content is revealed. I understand that it's going against the grain to hope for the salvation of this series when everything has been turned upside down with this ending, but we've been so devastated recently that there's almost nothing to look forward towards with the series.

When you don't know what happens, anything is possible. Just because someone put a lot of effort to write it, it doesn't mean it's accurate. 

 

Talking about effort, someone should start doing an animation of Hinata waking up of her dream and seeing NS together so we can mix it to the movie and enjoy it XD
