Hmm must be a slow night with gta mods, yeah Sakura with a gun, scary combination.

Just can't wait till we see her again, hopefully away from the battle so she gets some time to herself, maybe if she is with Sai. It may be a while longer but Sakura will come forward.

So far sasuke has been marked as an enemy of the state by the entire Shinobi world. If he is redeemed. the only thing he could really do is sacrifice himself to save Naruto or Sakura because he may not be accepted back into the village because of his actions. Then when Naruto and Sakura hook up, they name their kid Sasuke Menma Uzumaki, or Minato Sasuke Menma Uzumaki, or Menma Minato Namikaze Sasuke Uzumaki. So many choices...

So far sasuke has been marked as an enemy of the state by the entire Shinobi world. If he is redeemed. the only thing he could really do is sacrifice himself to save Naruto or Sakura because he may not be accepted back into the village because of his actions. Then when Naruto and Sakura hook up, they name their kid Sasuke Menma Uzumaki, or Minato Sasuke Menma Uzumaki, or Menma Minato Namikaze Sasuke Uzumaki. So many choices...

I think that's the best possibility for his character. At this point, it isn't about "bringing Sasuke back to Konoha," it's saving him as a person. He really doesn't belong in a village, especially Konoha. Uchiha don't even belong in villages in my opinion. So hopefully he does become some sort of wanderer. Maybe Karin is his travel partner? Dem red haired Uchiha babies.

I'm rereading Kekkaishi all the way through (it finished a while ago and I never got around to completing it, so I'm reading the whole thing through)

And there's this interesting little bit which I will link in a moment. But obviously, it reminds me very much of Naruto and Sakura in this scene. (The characters are somewhat like Naruto and Sakura too, but Tokine is not quite at the Tsundere level) I've read up on how they ended up at the end of the manga and while I won't spoil anything, I can imagine Kishi ending it in a similar way.

Makes me feel like Kishi could fit a lot more meaning into his scenes. But I'm not sure which I prefer, the more quiet comforting hug moment between Naruto and Sakura, or this one where Tokine reiterates that Yoshimori is important to her (and everyone else)

Tokine's last line is soooo similar to the confession.

Problem is, Naruto's too damn stubborn to see what Sakura really meant. And is it just me, or has anyone realized Naruto is still exactly the same brat in Part I who, in a way, thinks he is always right??

P.S.: there's also at least 2-3 more moments before the ending of the series. Off the top of my head, Yoshi pulls off another stunt like the above, and Tokine strangles him rodeo-style for it. Another one is when he says, "I hate seeing you cry!!"

And what happens in the manga:

Yeah, the scenes are very similar to the confession and the hug. Plus, the characters have the same personalities and such. The only thing that is different is that Yoshimori isn't portrayed being stubborn and sticking to his thought as much as Naruto in these scenes, which is why Yoshimori sees and understand Tokine here. Naruto will change his mind, but it's not the time yet.

I wonder if Sakura had cried a little bit either during the hug or during the confession, would Naruto have relented some and come off as less stubborn? Maybe he doesn't realize the burden Sasuke is upon Sakura either, or how much it's really affecting their lives and happiness. And for what? A guy who wants absolutely nothing to do with them.

But this is how Kishi has written Naruto. I love the guy and all, but it gets annoying when he's portrayed as always being right. He's not on gary-sue level though... yet.

It reminds me of that comic someone linked earlier. It seems like Naruto apologizes to Sakura for... taking too long to come around basically? Not sure. *I downloaded all 100 or so images as well*

Maybe Naruto will have an I'm sorry moment to Sakura for once. Well, he technically did have it during the hospital scene... but I don't know... I feel like it's about time Naruto advances the relationship between he and Sakura. Not even in a romantic light per se, just in general.

Great find comparing those panels from Keikashi to parallels to NS and yet they're so" sure" it's going to be NH and SS. I have said it before Kishi is following the shounen genre on his manga.
