I wish someone here would fill us in on how popular NH/Hinata is in Japan, but I'm going to tell you this:

 

This movie must have been in production for maybe almost 2 years while Kishi has been involved in it, and between the start of its production until now, Kishi has hinted NS with the girlfriend comment/Kushina comparison in 631 and the CPR in 663. During that time span, he's also given Hinata a lot of spotlight with the handhold and her goal to be by Naruto's side, so if NS were to happen it's not surprising that they would tease NH before NS is canon. Usually, (correct me if I'm mistaken, people) the pairing that gets teased before the finale is the one that gets sunk, so have faith in Kishi's writing rather than easily believing in Studio Pierrot.

In before in this scene Naruto wants to tell Hinata that he can't give her what she want. Thats why he is pretty thoughtful on that cover and move before Hinata.  And Hinata just Hinata - steps behind him waiting what he will tell her. 

 

But of course i want to say "Chill, everyone".

Smart NH shippers should be worried now cause SP again overteasing with NH ship. Only SP, cause we see more of NS hints from Kishimoto in the manga, and even his movie sketches hints on NS, cause two of them got casual clothes. 

 

Its more and more remind me the SP's preparation for the biggest trolling of NH fandom.

I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of the day SP will be forced go redraw half of the movie. The quality of animated art is terrible.

 

Doesn't that happen with series that have been ongoing for a long period of time? Pierrot has been animating Naruto for over 12 years. It doesn't come as too much of a surprise that the quality of their artwork would deteriorate. It still doesn't justify their travesty of Kishis' work. 

 

SP has always made his females look like sticks. It's nothing knew.

 

Just take a look at SP Naruko compared to the boobalicious original one.

Wasn't that transformation sequence almost completely bare-skinned in the manga? I'm guessing that the anime was abiding by a more stringent code of censoring regulations.

Doesn't that happen with series that have been ongoing for a long period of time? Pierrot has been animating Naruto for over 12 years. It doesn't come as too much of a surprise that the quality of their artwork would deteriorate. It still doesn't justify their travesty of Kishis' work.

Her hair colour is mismatched too. In the manga, it's like a golden blonde shade, whereas in the anime the artists lighten it to pale blonde.

Agreed, Hinata doesn't look happy at all, more sad actually and Naruto expression isn't really of  sadness on this. He didn't face Hinata, his eye look like it look at the ground, hand in is pocket, as if he were ashamed of what happen on this scene. You know, he consider Hinata a good friend r. That make breaking her heart painful to him too. Idk if people know but when you can't return the feeling of a stranger or an acquaintance, that is 1 thing. But when the person is a little close to you, now that hurt yourself and you feel bad because your hurt someone that you do care in a way. 

 

If it were Sakura on the poster, I wouldn't take it as a good sign honestly. The way the character are mean Naruto end the conversation or is about to say something that doesn't emit joy or love. Idk how NH fandom will twist this but honestly, that look more anti-NH for me.

Man, you guys are honestly freaking me out. I wasn't that paranoid but reading all these posts just.. SIGH.

 

Isn't it just a cover of a single? It's not like it's the album cover. It might be a love song but it could be a sad love song. The lyrics could be about Hinata moving on after Naruto rejects her.

 

And it's kind of annoying how all the NH fans are rejoicing while some of us are here whining and being all hopeless. CHEER UP. There hasn't been any hints in the manga. Why would Kishi suddenly make NH canon in the movie? I just don't understand. What's the point of developing NS if that's the case? Sakura's not even in love with Sasuke anymore [tell me if I'm wrong]. It's probably just a marketing strategy to make all the NH fans hype up but to disappoint them in the end after all. It's better to lose fans after Naruto really really REALLY ends rather than when the manga is still running, right? If they were to show NS hints right now, when majority of the fandom is NH fans, Kishi might lose loyal [to NH, that is] readers.

 

If I was Kishi, I would choose to disappoint NS shippers rather than the NH shippers first.

 

I'd really love to see how they would react when their ship is actually sunk in the movie. *evil laugh* I feel mean, but shipping is a hard-core business.

And I just like to try  leveling up the mood.

No amount of NH hints won't convince me NS isn't end game despite his shortcomings (Sasuke namely).

The quality of their art looks very selective to me. Remember the Pain arc and how overly detailed Hinata's animation looked? Try comparing them to those infamous Pain!Yahiko frames... Or that filler episode with mecha!Naruto was very well animated, but it's painful to look at Jyuubi!Obito.

I won't even get started on how the quality of openings and endings went to kitten.

Some of the series get remastered versions like hunterxhunter or fma:b, but I doubt Naruto will get one since it's too much work & most people are probably not as picky as we are lol.

I think Kishi has mostly coloured the rasengan mostly, I can only recall three times he's coloured it yellow, and then another time he coloured the rasenshuriken yellow... I think he coloured it orange once or twice -- when Naruto wasn't kyuubified. I wonder if he was influenced by the anime in regard to its colour...

And about Ino's eye colour. he coloured them blue in part one and a couple times in part two (like the first Team 10 volume cover, and the RTN poster). SP's colour scheme of Ino (blue eyes, pale blonde hair) is based on the first coloured version of Ino Kishi did, the volume cover where she was with Sakura.

Kishi can be inconsistent when it comes to certain colours...

I think what makes me sad is how this is the only way NH gets development. You can't show their development on panel or on screen, so we just automatically put it in advertisements and crap. Really?

I really am fed up with Studio Perriot.

BTW about the last picture, is this a poster for the movie or is it just from an ending. Anyhow it is bad for NH fan anyway I look at it. If I want to make this pairing canon, I'll show them smile at least together, not look so depressed.

 

And I do like Hinata design on this so I hope it is real . I want to see Hanabi too.
