Sorry for venting of some steam in here. Not the right place, and I don't wanna derail this tread with my wailing. I just hope this week will be over soon.

Once I've got all my tests out of the way this week, I should be able to watch Gintama again (I just wanna get it out of the way).

Let me say this right now. Trang, I know we don't care for MAL ratings and crap. But let me say this. Sunrise will animate the next serious arc. And when they do, and if they put their best, which they always had, but now with 2015 budget, DBS had a bad effect. It was once at 8.5 but after that crap, it went to 7.66. That said think the opposite effect. It just go higher. It is the arc that you can't go back anymore. I'm not done yet but I am still going on.

I don't care what anyone say but this is the best WSJ series. If Sunrise succeed, they will staple it in that top 5 list you see in MAL for a long time. If they succeed, it will be the best WSJ adaptation of all time. I'm dead serious. I'm dead kittening serious.

Best WSJ to me.

It's official: best WSJ series to me. This feels like a seinen that stays in shounen. I don't know how long it has been to see a series in WSJ to go beyond and don't hold back. Don't believe that kitten about Shounen can't kill, can't do dark theme (even though the past series has but they are like long gone) or anything. If it needs to tell that route of a story, it will do it. This series...

Well, I can't say that I have any complains with the top ten rated animes on MAL XD (Gintama anime is literally dominating it on there). Can't say anything about mangas b/c I haven't seen all of them.

I hope that they will not animate serious arc for another 26 episodes, that's exactly how many episodes they can do with material that is left before serious arcs come into play (I mean next 26, after they are done with 26 that is ongoing now).

 

And yet I think that best WSJ adaptation is JJBA in all 3 parts.

I seriously think Viz or whoever in charge of the product need to reconsider bringing this series. Seriously, this is Demon's Souls missing out bad, though that game did get localized much later on. Still, it needs to be brought back to U.S. soil like now.

Number 2 is Steins;Gate. I love that series to death, but I always thought that it was a bit overrated on both MAL and ANN... Glad to see HxH in the top 5 though. I'm hoping for it to go up one day and maybe be rank 3 or 2. I'm always waiting to see if there is a series that can possibly overtop Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood And I think HxH or Gintama can do that. It'd be boring if that list always remained static, right?

I have no idea why Viz cancelled the serialization of Gintama :( The US spends money on the wrong shounens (Naruto, To Love Ru, Highschool of the Dead, Akami ga Kill)...
