yup that's about right. makes sense to since the movie is two years after the war, and 700 goes further than just two years.

What that seems to tell me is that chapter 700's connection to the movie could be 2 things:

 

1. A dream/infinite Tsukuyomi that is explained inside the movie

2. An epilogue to the epilogue inside the movie, further explaining the events and clarifying the WTF we saw in that chapter

 

The best possible outcome of the movie is that it ends in NaruSaku and chapter 700 was just someone's dream, or one option of the future.

 

The likeliest outcome of the movie is that we get an explanation of the "underneath the underneath" in 700 we've been digging at in this thread.  I'll take that.  (Even better if that also ends in NaruSaku.)

Ok lemme tell you on short on what my theory is based. Granted, IT at some point... Maybe we will see the intertwined version of everyone that was in the IT, given that well, SP has been telling us that is the synopsis of the movie. Soooooooo, from that IT we see that world and all, which is later revealed to be indeed an IT buuut, Kishi in 700 gave us an idea of the next generation, but in his weird kind of intertwined way, see what I mean?

Plus, why do I think it's genjutsu? Look at Konoha reconstructing...

The buildings are new, granted but the construction type remains the same, doesn't change into blocks or kitten like that, as we can see, whereas in 700 we have new york konoha

Maybe due to her clan having some connection to Hagoromo, Hamura, and Kaguya, since we saw Kaguya had all 3 great Doujutsu with the Byakugan, Sharingan, AND Rinnegan?

Definitely! Kishi will go down in history with this! As I said, Obito Uchiha narrative feint 2.0. Just like it was with Obito, Kishi made it obvious it was him, then he changed a bit the course making everyone sure it's Madara. Then, he came and BAM! Obito, the obvious path since the very beginning...

I think you guys are reaching.... I just don't want to see you all hurt again. I've come to accept that Kishimoto is just that bad of a writer. I don't think we need to be getting our hopes up again. Only to see that he has simply just approved of a bad NH love fest movie about how great Hinata is.

Yeah! I mean it would explain those little NS hints we've gotten from this movie. Gosh, imagine. It'd be soo much worse than 699/700, because right now there's already lot of NH/SS family fanart and backlash. 

They would have to disown Boruto, Sarada, & Himawari if it actually does happen.

Also, considering the fact that this movie has been in production for 3 years, Kishi's been doing a pretty bad job at making NaruHina even look possible. The girlfriend comment, Minato comparing Sakura to Kushina, & the CPR just happened last year.

Heh, I always knew it was gonna turn out to be Obito. I wasn't in the fandom at the time, so I didn't really know what was going on when it came to the whole reveal chapter.

i actually agree with chatte that this may be a combination of everyone s dreams. So sakura gets what she wants but sasuke doesn't seen to be around (where his dream intercepts). Hinata gets what she wants except naruto doesnt seem happy. Etc etc
