First of all i dont see the sasuke turning good part as bad writing because i believe theres more to it. I wait till the story is over to decide if it was bad writing for this part.

 

The thing is that naruto himself told sakura that he believes shes lying about her feelings for him and still believs that she loves sasuke, but now suddenly he is dead serious about her beeing his girlfriend. That simply doesnt fit.

The only possibility i see about the scene is like KnS posted, that he just isnt really sure whats going on between him and her right now, so he says "yeah thats more or less it".

 

First: Wait, you're waiting to see what happens before you see Sasuke as bad writing, but automatically claim the NS scene as bad writing before seeing the outcome of the manga? Isn't that a double standard?

The reason why I hate Sasuke and think he is nothing, but bad writing is because he seems to get away with everything and he changes based on stupid reasoning. We are lead to believe that Naruto is supposed to change him, but it seems like everyone, but Naruto can change him. We have scenes of him being completely psychotic and then the next he is as he usually is. He was always a jerkass, but the fact that he stabbed Karin and tried stabbing Sakura and did the whole "I don't care about anything, but revenge" stick is still stuck in my mind and it feels like that was nothing.

When you have fans literally hand waving scenes away it becomes a problem.

And on the note of Naruto saying what he said, I want to show you more useless dialouge: Itachi said that he was leaving Sasuke to him. Well, honestly, he didn't. People try to convince me that Naruto will end up changing Sasuke and what not, but I would have believed that if he still wanted to destroy the village. Now, he wants to follow his brothers wishes and be Hokage? Nothing Naruto did changed Sasuke in the slightest and here already we have Sauske do a major change just because his brother said something to him.

It wouldn't bother me so much, if Kishi didn't try shoving down our throats that Naruto was supposed to change him. I feel this change should have been from Naruto's influence, not Itachi's. We also have Sasuke being a copy-cat villain. He wanted revenge against his brother, then he turned into Orochimaru and wanted to destroy the village. Now he wants to be a Madara and rule it?

Now Sasuke seems more like an opposition rather than a villain. A villain tries to break down the heroes moral or world whether ti be for gain, fun, or whatever. This just seems like Naruto is aiming for goals and Sasuke is standing the way for that. I'll admit, I never wanted Sasuke to be apart of this war, because it feels like even he doesn't want to be there. Why is he there? Does he care about people? Does he think that if the world is destroyed he can't be Hokage? Does he want to build the world in his image?

We all know a big twist is coming, but I find this to be a huge let down. I am not eager to read the Naruto vs Sasuke fight because I feel it is going to be nothing. It's a lot more fun when it is a fight to the death and the hero is put through the ultimate test. This doesn't feel like that anymore.

People are so butthurt that Sakura's stepping her game up. The just won't stop calling it an asspull. Funny thing is, Kishi does this almost every time a character unveils a new jutsu. The trope where you think a character is done for then he/she has a flashback of training, and then unleashes a new jutsu. He did it with Rock Lee when he opened gates against Gaara. He did it with Chouji and those pills when he fought Jirobo. He did it with Sakura when she fought with Chiyo against Sasori. He did it with Kakashi and the seal he received from Jiraiya that suppressed the Kyuubi's chakra when they were chasing Deidara. He did it with Shikamaru and the capsule of Kakuzu's blood when he fought Hidan. He did it with Konohamaru when he used Rasengan against Pain. He did it with Chouji when he used Butterfly Mode in the war arc.

And if it's a question for why she didn't use it earlier, she did say she was storing it up. Jiraiya didn't use Sage Mode when he fought Orochimaru, Tsunade didn't use Byakugou until the war and Kakashi's Magekyou Sharingan was absent for all of Part 1. I don't get what makes Sakura's Hyakugo seal an asspull when you look back over all the power ups in Naruto. Therefore, I conlcude that they are indeed butthurt.

Well let's see

Yin = creation, imagination, making of a form

Yang = vitality, energy

 

Sakura is pretty proficient in the Yin department, while Naruto has the kyuubi Yang chakra and it seems that his chakra is also yang focused.

 

Man I think these two will do something in the future.

 

 

Maybe the fact that he points towards Yang is because Kurama <3 had an early hand...or in this case claw on his childhood.

 

I also heard a theory somewhere that Kushina was going through complications during Naruto's formation, and that Kurama helped in that department by lending the baby some chakra, thus why he was born with whisker marks...but that is on the realm of fanfiction, considering Kurama was tied down with chains.

 

We already know Sakura is the Yin to Naruto's Yang , they are Heaven and Earth after all. She may be a tsundere like his mom, but that's the way Kishi draws his female characters...except maybe a few shy ones. What sets Kushina and Sakura apart are they're grades, Kushina according to her words wasn't doing so well in school, while Sakura probably got top marks. In that respect Sakura parallels mostly Minato than Kushina.

No its not a double standard because the whole naruto GF talk is done and cant be changed in future events, so damage is done. If he was serious about it then theres not going to be a scene in the future where he suddenly says: "no i wasnt serious about you and me beeing a couple". Thats different with sasuke. There is a huge possibility that sasuke isnt really good right now and was just planning somethig huge all along. Get what i mean?

Might as well add they are calling it an a**pull because it's Sakura. Along with their hatred for her they're used of seeing her as the weak, useless character who does nothing but cry and scream" Sasuke-kun". Now that Kishimoto is finally promising what he said a few years ago on that interview when he said he will try to make her more heroine the haters don't have a choice but to complain. Sakura finally has a power up and she's going to shine obviously they're going to be angry about this. NH fans were claiming Hinata as the new heroine Kishi put them in their place when he made her tell Naruto the comment of thinking she was a weak woman. There's only one heroine in the manga and he made it clear who is the girl. Haters plus NH fans are the ones claiming it was an a**pull. It's best to ignore them because these kind of fans will never like Sakura no matter how strong she becomes or how many times she will save Naruto. The only thing that will please them is if she dies.

True it would be awkward for NH to happen after 631, he basically told his father that she was his girlfriend so if Naruto never actually tells Minato later that he was just joking or that he really loves Hinata, then Minato will go back to the afterlife still thinking he is with Sakura.

 

Plus if an afterlife exists in the Naruto world than Minato would tell Kushina about everything he heard, no doubt it would be awkward for him to tell her Naruto is with a girl like Sakura, when if NH happens he is actually with Hinata.

Honestly Hinata doesn't need closure. She can easily made up her mind and give up on Naruto like she did with her speech in 573. Remember she's a side character and Kishi will think it's not important for her development to receive closure when it comes to" love". He can solve this with showing an epilogue chapter of her married to a Hyuuga. Naruto doesn't have to talk to her either because he has never love her, he's grateful of having her as his friend but that's just it. Hinata gets the point that he has never love her and that's why she chose to stop chasing him. Kishi is even showing it clearly after 615 she hasn't been shown thinking of Naruto or even saying" Naruto-kun".

Whenever I reply to VJ with a rational counter argument he never responds lol, I think he only knows how to argue by bashing.

 

As for forneverworld, he made it pretty obvious he was a NaruHina shipper in his 615 review video. I still prefer his reviews to people like Sawyer though.

The ONLY thing I want is for Minato and Kushina to react to Sakura's strong powerl!!!!!!! I ONLY WANT THAT!!!!!!! If Minato says "That girl is pretty strong huh" or "I'm glad she is Naruto's friend/gf" IF HE SAY THAT THEN I'LL RUN AROUND THE HOUSE SCREAM OR WHATEVER!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!
