Well Harry Potter pairings are terrible or at least how it's portrayed. Just remembered that book is insanely popular like she could have been a billionaire. That said it is the most rage out of all series we have been comparing. Oh well, glad I didn't care.

You think it's possible she may write like a what if story of Deathly Hallows, and show the intensions she wanted like Ron's Death, and Harry and Hermione getting together at the end.

As much as the waiting is killing us, least its not intensifying. I mean JK Rowling just did the worst thing possible, she said regrets the Ron and Herminoe pairing stuff.

We all knew how the potter pairing wars were among the most insane and bloodthursty, makes our own pairing war seem like a saint. But now people are arguing over the fact she did it in the past with the intent, it doesnt matter now and with others screaming hah she doesnt like it, well now the potter pairing wars have become rekindled with a terrible fact, what the author said years after the ending occured.

 

This just makes me go, oh my god. I mean, can you seriously think how the naruto pairing fandom would react years from now if NS went canon before hand and then kishi said he regretted it? Could you even imagine how terrible it would be? Now I know rowling and kishi are vastly different, rowling used a lot of writing in her books for some more of a balance between the two herminoe pairings that people argued over, but in Naruto, yeah NS is the one with the lions share by far.

 

Now I'm just going to say its unlikely this would ever happen, I doubt kishi would do that but just the fact Rowling, of all authors did this? Now makes me wonder how insane other fanbases would react if say the avatar creators said they regretted Aang and Katara meaning now korra is all messed up. Its unlikely anyone would do this given many authors tend to be content with how they bring an end to their stories, I mean it seems kishi is satisfied with doing as best he can in the hopeless situation he has drawn up for the heroes but dam, rowling of all people? The author of a series where the most intense pairing wars ever occured has just rekindled a flame of war among fans. Unlike other fandoms where they spend time saying why a pairing should have happened, now the potter fans are going to be arguing over past and present views of rowling herself saying "It doesnt matter what she says now, she wrote Ron X Herminoe in the past with the intent to do it, if she really regrets it its too late and makes no difference now." While others will counter with "See how bad it was? Now Rowling hates it, she offically said she hates Ron X Herminoe, Harry X Herminoe was supposed to happen and she regrets her choice for not doing it."

 

God, I'm glad I never took part in that pairing war.

 

I never really cared for pairings that much in Harry Potter.  That all was drowned out by the story.

 

Basically, the only problem with this is the topic.  I mean out of all the things she regrets it's a pairing.  It wasn't how the villain was defeated or any of the events in the story.  It was a gosh darn pairing.  Rolling is the only one I know to do this.  However, it's unfounded on our part to assume the same could happen with Kishimoto or any other mangaka.  Their form of media is different, and their writing styles are different.  In my opinion, Kishimoto would never regret the pairings he's made official, because the manga itself shows plenty of evidence for it.  In our case, he built up both Naruto and Sakura, and is continuing their development.  If they ever get together, it's because there was sufficient progress for it.  It can be argued if Ron and Hermoine pairing up was good or bad writing.

To me it was especially the panel she left Naruto's safety to Neji and closed her eyes. The black panel could indicate this, but it's just my speculation. She could've also looked up in the sky, but there were no stars or clouds.

 

Point is that everyone falls once in a while, but she didn't get up and the prayer confirmed that she won't either. I just can't interpret it in any other way than "Nii-san, I can't protect Naruto this time, you have to instead". What else could it mean?

yeah and to think some fans believe she would make a better heroine then sakura what a joke and the only reason they say that is cuz sakura use to hit naruto but its not violence its communication lol i got that from astrid in the dragons tv series i felt like she broke the 4th wall for tsundere's when she said that  its no wonder kishi liked the first movie :)

the relationships in harry potter weren't like NS. Almost all of them were of the type that both people liked/loved eachother but there was something in the way. NS isn't like this. NS fits perfectly with both personalities

My favorite part of the "satire" is the worn out assertion that if Naruto doesn't choose Hinata he is a "effing expletive deleted."  Because, as we all know, when someone chooses to sacrifice themselves of their own free will, if they happen to survive and not really end up sacrificing anything, the person they chose to sacrifice for still owes them whatever they want regardless of how he feels, or the fact that he asked her NOT TO SACRIFICE HERSELF and to get the hell out of the way.

Yep, this "interview" is obviously fake.  I didn't want to believe it, but this is a clear example of making up info with the hopes of getting others to believe it.  This is why you can't trust information without credible evidence.  The same applies to GSD, and the haters talk about so called info about disparity going on behind the scenes.  Sorry, if this seems random, but I'm watching the remaster, and all the controversy has started up once again in the English speaking fandom.  Those on here who watch it know what I'm talking about.  It gets frustrating.

Ugh, yes. That's the part that really pissed me off. He doesn't owe her ANYTHING, yet if he doesn't feel the same way as Hinata he's viewed as a jerk. That's what happened with 631.

I'm a H/Hr shipper and I feel mad at J.K.Rowling for saying she regrets R/Hr. I mean, that was her original plot; all R/Hr interactions implied that they're indeed the endgame. H/G is another story.. I still can't take this ship seriously, because unlike R/Hr it was so rushed & with little development.. doesn't feel right for me. But that's just me.

But hey, that's what the author decided to do.. that's how she felt so I accepted it; but now.. some years later it turns out she regrets what she wrote... this such a major WTF moment, I swear. She should've at least taken her readers/fans into consideration and not make this public. I feel so betrayed and I guess many HP fans do too.

I am starting Calc 1 Next year... is it that much harder than High School math ? (Which I find extremely easy, I never do any HW and sleep most of the class )

I just had a huge chapter test on Logarithmic and exponential functions and I got a 100 %. Is calc 1 going to be challenging for me ?

Yeah that was my favorite part to , so judging by that Naruto should end up with every single villager and shinobi who risked their lifes to save him in the Pain arc and in this war .  My question to them is how do they expect for Hinata to end up with Naruto when the only way for her to get close to him or to notice  her is by playing a meat shield doesn't this bother them like at all ? Also Hinata by doing this just shows that she has no expectations what so ever to end up with him , her sacrifice doesn't help Naruto at all it just makes her mediocre , when Sakura does it she thinks how to protect Naruto in the long therm not just in the now and she does it without the cost of her life , there is a big difference between what Hinata does and what Sakura does but i guess that some people just doesn't want to see or acknowledge that for obvious reasons  . 

 

Oh and i'm also glad i never was in the HP paring wars , by what you guys are saying it seems like it's actually much worse than the Naruto ones or any other one for that mater  :))) .

thats good cherry i feel the same way about hiccstrid from how to train your dragon in the tv series they tease snotlout and astrid at times and snotstrid fans like to use the so called moments as evidence yet there is nno chemistry even in last week's new episode i didn't see any romantic intention just teamwork development between the two finally since snotlout always annoys astrid besides hiccstrid is canon in httyd2 so snotstrid is cracked
