So SS is the most popular ship in Japan so the 2nd would be NS seeing as there is a whole week for it. How can the NS fas in Japan be so calm about this BS  movie? Anyone know what most NS fans are doing/saying in japan?

I'm so happy NS is the end game, i'm more confident that ever that nh is genjutsu. Even if the movie fails us i will still have hope for the anime and part 3 manga.

In Japan a kiss in a shonen movie is shocking.

But it's not really a shounen movie, now is it? Even though the manga was a shounen, this movie is a completely different beast and genre completely. In fact, the first information released to the public concerning the movie was that it would focus mainly on romance. That's not a very "shounen" quality. People know what to expect when seeing the movie and having these obvious expectations confirmed is not shocking. It's predictable. This is not a shounen movie. It's a romance movie and it's been regularly described as one for quite some time.

Ehh really? I thought when it came to stuff like that it people were just reserved and it's not usually a public thing. A kiss is not shocking at all tbh... especially one like this. This is some mushy sailor moon shojo stuff. Literally

Well with that kiss in play our last hope is that it's a genjutsu by Toneri, but it's not looking too good to me. What do you think?

Clannad. Have you ever seen Tomoya and Nagisa kissing once? Before you knew it, they got wedded and Nagisa became pregnant. And yet, it is considered one of the best Shoujo animes out there.

A great love story doesn't need kissing or hugging. What a great love story needs is chemistry, development, and mutual understanding b/w the two lovers.

Still doesn't come off as a shock though.... it's more surprising imo. This is supposed to be the ending and it was such a shock that Junko mentioned it in her interview? lol.

I would like to know how she interpreted it as "shocking" in her eyes. What exactly were her expectations for the finale? What is her opinion of the characters she's been working with for so many years now? Is she satisfied with how it panned? Questions of that nature.

A strange lake is what makes Naruto like Hinata? Just wow. That's the biggest cop out I've ever seen. What are the moments that he would see in this genjutsu? There wasn't that much between them to begin with. If anything that genjutsu should just affirm his feelings for Sakura even more.

If someone could translate to us that one interview she did with those two creepy guys...

I'm sorry, but I do not think that will ever find out what she really thinks of the ending. She can't afford criticizing the ending.

However, I believe that Junko Takeuchi understands Naruto better than many of us think. And not once have I heard her depicting Sakura in a bad light.There is a video for RtN that shows the voice actors from RtN in one of their recording scenes. The scene they were recording was a very sentimental and pivotal family moment. It was the scene in which Kushina hugged Naruto, and he finally broke his cold facade towards Minato and Kushina. Pay close attention at 2:33. Though the video quality is horrible, do you see how Junko almost teared up? Do you see the sadness and empathy she held for Naruto?  Inexplicably, I was just touched by Junko's reaction and felt like that this woman must understand Naruto's personality better than Kishi sometimes.
