I KNEW IT WAS FUTURE LUCY BUT WOW OWOWOWOWOWOWOW DAMN.

I think it's just how Ani said also, that in the future she only has one arm. In every panel we have seen future Lucy she is only using one arm, the left one. Who knows what happened. But WOW. !!!!

Who sent her back in time? Ultear? Someone else? I heard someone speculate that all the dragon slayers in one place are a giant Acknologia magnet and that he's probably going to attack them soon...

Well it was someone from the future as many of us speculated but I was sure it would be Levy, but it's not the case. Also does appear that something did indeed happen to her right hand, whether she lost it or if it was sacrificed to get her back to the past I don't know.

I wonder she sent herself in the past, using the power of the 12 Keys combined and whatever is below the grounds of Fairy Tails guild?


Damnit now we goota wait two weeks for next release, what a cliffhanger to end on.

That's what I was thinking when Ani first hinted it at me. I remember someone saying that every year the same magic feeling pops up though, so I wonder if every year future Lucy came back to check on the status of Eclipse? Maybe that thirteenth key, the key with the "power to change the world" had something to do with Lucy being able to time travel.

ALSO YES CATWHO, I really really really x 23958723985792 want to know if she was sent or if she sent herself, and why her magic is similar to Zeref's (could it be she became a BAMF pictureem0.gif ?!)

I also think that in this future, Lucy lost Natsu (aka he died) against a fight with the dragons or Acnologia. Maybe Acnologia decided to do a dragonslayer purge? The way she cried when Natsu was alive and well and fighting against Sting and Rogue kind of gives me the feeling that he's dead in this doomed future. Or at least missing or something.

I like how they had to wonder if the new Lucy was Gemini or from Edolas. I guess Mashima's aware of how many variants of Lucy there are. Between Lucy, Lucy Ashley, Gemini Lucy, Future Lucy, and Transformation Lucy, we're getting close to having a small guildsworth of them! Or maybe a harem for Natsu.

Speaking of which, did he grab her butt? laugh.gif

Can't wait for the Gajeel and Laxus fights. Congrats to whoever thought Orga was gonna be the Thunder God Slayer. I hope they'll finally explain the origin of God Slayer magic. As of now, we have as many God-Slayers as first-generation Dragon Slayers, and the reason for their powers still hasn't been explained fully. My guess is that they're all experiments, like the second-generation Dragon Slayers, but I'm hoping for something more interesting. happy.gif

Why Ultear would that? She is not even in the stadium. My prediction is that Minerva stabbed Kagura in the back before she could deliver the finishing blow.

That thought crossed my mind too. Ultear was the one who brainwashed Jellal, so if Kagura needs to blame someone for Simon's death, she'd be the prime candidate.

I was also thinking it might have been Miliana getting involved. Judging by Kagura's reaction to Erza, she doesn't seem to know how Simon felt about her, and that's a pretty important part of this backstory. I think it needs to be relayed to Kagura somehow, and a member of the Tower gang seem most likely to do it.

Of course, the problem with that idea is that it would mean Minerva just let her go for some reason. We'll see, but I can see Alexander's idea happening. Seems like something Minerva would do.

IMO the blood is from Kagura unleashing her sword, kinda like a self harm weapon, pain for power type of deal. Otherwise why would the others be so unwilling to let her use it?

4) Minerva stabbed Kagura to gain the points for defeating her and now she'll attack a weakened Erza for her points as well.

Minerva seems to be the type capable of planning such a devious scheme, so I wouldn't be surprised if this happened.

I've given this a good long thought for a few days, so....

Does anyone think the end of this arc will give NaLu some serious development?? think about it, we have future!Lucy here. And if Natsu died in that future, I wonder if future!Lucy realized she'd fallen in love with Natsu. A case of "you never know what you have till it's too late." Now that she's gone back to correct the future, I wonder if her relationship with Natsu is also on her list.

I could definitely see her kissing Natsu before she "disappears" or something. And if that does happen, needless to say, things will be very.... awkward between them laugh.gif . And I can't wait for that biggrin.gif .

I was actually thinking the same thing - Future!Lucy seemed so overjoyed to see everyone, especially Natsu (and herself.)

She might also give her past self a stern "seize the day/YOLO" type speech, to push her toward taking the first steps.
