MAL seems to be accepting on the whole romance endgame as well as direction. There is a thread on cousins talk but many voted no on them being one. I guess you can say the least damage control community so far.

Well that's a surprise , in a good way though , its just that many are to easy to jump on the gun you know when we still don't know the full story and much info that needs to be revealed .

On the scan above the text above Azami it says The number 3 seat is Nakamura  1st Gin and 2nd Joi . What reason would he have at that time to use that as an alias !? It makes no sense considering the raw also says he's in his 1st year and entered the Elite 10 .

 

Yeah on that I agree Azami was banished after the events with Erina . What you say about Joi is also very much possible so we have to wait a bit for the answer .

Well, anime always do the last farewell tease to the one they believe to happen or rather the obvious one (save Naruto because clearly it was all around back stab). Fairy Tail, Bleach (ironic), Tokyo Ghoul (despite being kitten), you name it.

Yeah I know , they really are going strong with this paring first the bumping/humming scene and now this  . Can't complain though I enjoyed it despite the bits of added parts mixed with the canon  .

 

I just hope they continue the anime and make Season 2 , I just got hooked up on it  its to cruel to leave it like that and do this to me .

It seems like it implies that something must have changed him along the way. I mean Erina was nice with him, until the brainwashing began. If true, what happened? I guess we have to wait on the future development to learn more on many parts of this whole ordeal. I wonder how Soma will answer it next week.

Seeing those creepy psychotic grins doesn't make me believe that something changed him , I feel its more like he was always obsessed with perfection elitist cooking , hence why he opened his business aboard only for the rich elitist .  But yeah we need more and I can't wait !!! .

I don't know but if I had to guess maybe he let that go bc of his daughter or Azami is a very good actor like we've seen in his political speech .

 

Yeah exactly it would be perfectly in character and go along well with the story's course .

 

Probably bc Soma (as we've seen) has the ability to change people with his unorthodox cooking , its like Ishiki Senapi said his cooking is not bound to any cooking tradition or techniques he doesn't strive for perfection but for unlimited ways of cooking and he doesn't give up after so many failures but always learning from them (the ultimate sore loser like Fumio said). I guess in that regard Soma and his cooking are special and Senzaemon has watched him and Erina closely and the effect he has on her like no one else before ,not even the people that have tried to help her (including Joui ) had that effect on her so perhaps that's why . Not to mention the old man seems to be an closet Soma x Erina shipper . 

 

YEEEEEEES, that Anime add in ship tease was good.
