Same here, Gai and his 8 gates really wasn't all that much of a focus. I think Kishi was just looking for an excuse to not put the NS and SK parallel on the volume cover for whatever reason.

I wad disappointed when that Volume Cover came out.

I'll agree on this but i dont know i just feel like on the recent chapters it wasnt a big deal compared to other issues because he believed he had died at that time, but he was alive afterwards.
And it most comes down to not being able to protect her and saving her life which comes afterwards.
 

And how is your example supposed to show her that he loves her ? That doesn't make sense Minato complimented the feature Kushina hated the most the only one who did that while everyone mocked her for that its not a confession but it pretty much tells her that . Still my point stands MK is not the main paring so it was done like that only to let us know that's all NS as the main should get the whole package .

Why Naruto has to show that he loves her? Doesnt was stated on Sai's commentary, and even Sakura's flashback on the POAL, since it's basically all up to Sakura not Naruto, you're asking for why Naruto loves Sakura not showing "he loves her" because he already showed that up, Sakura thought it was something else but he already "proved" to her he loves her.
About MK not being the "main" pairing, it tells nothing basically because on Kushina's words he never needed to confess to her.
 

Its not just that specific scene the KN4 scene also "The only things I can do for Naruto are so little"  Naruto needs to tell her how amazing she is . And the promise no longer holds in your opinion not mine and that's certainly not what Naruto said but I don't want to debate on this subject.

You're talking about Sakura's self confidence on which more or less is a rollercoaster she has moment where she has let-downs like when Sasuke said she was useless but moments where she value herself like on this recent chapter.
I dont know on which part Naruto can change her because he actually had many moments to change her on this side like the summit being an example.

631 when he says that she's "more or less his girlfriend" tells me otherwise its an assumption as much as yours .

The way the scene turned out to be and how Sakura and Naruto simply ignored it afterwards cant say for sure if he was being serious or just teasing her and also there's the part where he gets jealous at Sakura afterwards on which doesnt connect with him saying "they're more or less".
This whole scene leads to no conclusion since Naruto's quote was to prevent Sakura from spelling what she thinks about her relationship with Naruto.
 

Its impossible by your standards and views not mine and the manga is far from over . And I said hundreds of times equal ground is not needed she just need to tell figure out why she doesn't love him anymore  its not like her love for him made any sense at all in the first place really its not so hard like so many of you make it appear so . .

I'm not saying "equal" ground is necessary i'm just saying it's hard to make it seem that Naruto is not a silver medal.
Sakura decided to move on from Sasuke because he's a criminal, making her so called "love" for Sasuke that Kishimoto portraited as genuine love for several chapters despite not having any foundation or reason to be like that, even giving a rivalry and etc...
All the drama thoughout the story is totally pointless and makes no sense damaging the whole romance subplot as whole.

I saw rumors on tumblr that naruto manga is going to end on october 17th ,the same date the 7th naruto shippuden movie is rumoured to air.if this is true,i calculated around 13 chapters,and it kinda worries me cause its so late in the game and sakuras feelings for naruto are still ambiguous,we are starting to get ss moments,and prety much everyone is still head over heels in love with his first crush:hinata,karin,lee,ino etc(not sure about sakura),so theres no progress with the romantic subplot regarding this aspect.so if the rumors are true,this whole bullsh** worries me

Sasuke will return by himself to the Ice world, through his Yin-Yang connection with Naruto  (It's been stated too many times not to be used).  Naruto asks how Obito and Sakura are, and Sasuke as usual says not to worry about them, and focus on sealing Kagura.  At the end, the Hokage appear.

Does Hinata really know about Naruto's feelings for Sakura?  I'm still not sure what Hinata's smile meant. I mean, it wasn't like Naruto actually hugged Sakura back. It was all her on that one. Hinata doesn't really have a reason to believe Naruto likes Sakura after a scene like that. Maybe she didn't think too much about it.

 

It's hard to say if Hinata's aware of Naruto's feelings for Sakura or that he doesn't even like her. Her speeches about "supporting Naruto forever" or "walking with him and holding his hand" is still heavily debatable. We don't know if she meant it in a romantic context or just a support context.

Its difficult to say. The only people who have acknowledgded Naruto's love for Sakura are Minato,Sai,Tsunade and maybe Jiraiya too, can't remember. Kishi has made Sakura acknowledge Hinata's love but no such words from Hinata.The only thing Hinata has acknowledged this entire manga is Naruto -kun's nindo and she seems incapable of thinking about any other thing. It also doesn't help that Hinata doing important things for Naruto are done in the presence of everyone compared to Sakura's moments.

 

Its confusing whether Hinata is still deeply in love with Naruto or just wants to support him. Her statements in the war arc are all over the place. She vowed to stop chasing him and be by his side supporting him only to later fangirl about his big strong hand. Then along with Shikamaru and others, her thoughts are of being beside Naruto like them, but later dreams of romance!

I think the dreamworld is a perfect chance for Hinata to realize something about her love for Naruto. Maybe all the dreamers will wake up while realizing it was all a dream and all they want will never happen, but they will find another reason to live and to fight for, they will move on. And Hinata is one of them. 

 

Then again, Kishi is always throwing away any chance to make the romance subplot move on. So I wouldn't be surprised if she still loves Naruto and wants to be with him when she wakes up.

Nah she will move on. She doesn't has a chance competing again tsundere in shonen manga. It will be a different story if this is seinen manga.

Even in a seinen manga, she wouldn't have a chance, her love looks too childish when you compare it to Naruto's one. Especially when you look at scene like Naruto confessing his feelings to Sai, it's really deeper than Hinata's love based on her admiration for him. 

The only manga genre she would stand a chance would be a shojo, and then again, she or Sakura would have to be the heroine. Because if Naruto is still the hero, he would still end up with Sakura since she reciproactes his feelings. Though I don't remember any shojo who has a man as a main character...

There are shojou manga with man as main character just like female main character in shounen manga.
The kind girl type usually more successful in seinen, I think.

I think the earth will explode before Sasuke falls for Sakura. Seriously I can't believe people at this point in the manga (which I can safely say its almost reaching its end) that Sasuke will fall for Sakura just like that a 180. If he has never love her before, he's not going to start now. Kishi said Sasuke loves no one but himself (this statement means SS is dead period end of story). He also said Naruto and Sasuke are Yin and Yang, which means Naruto is positive (loves Sakura, loves all of his friends has good goals, dreams etc. Which means Sasuke is the complete opposite, he's the negative side of the battery. That statement also confirms SS is dead. Let's try and no longer worry about a pairing that the author keeps stabbing when its been for years.
