Just reread the last page, and I think if Evil Naruto is going to go after all the things that people have said to him since he's been acknowledged as a hero, then there's no doubt the N/S confession will resurface.

A lot of what she said revolved around recognizing him... and I think Evil Naruto will latch right on to it. 'It's all a lie, it's only to get to Sasuke, she's only using him because he's on top now.' yadda, yadda, yadda

I could see Evil Naruto disregarding Hinata, someone who never really caught his eye, and downright hating Sakura, someone who 'scorned' him for a long time only to love him after everyone else does.

But if he turns his evil eye on love, neither pairing will win. It will all be about self love, like Sasuke, where there is room for no one else except your own f'd up goals.

Actually Hope, I think he might just because Sakura is still a weak spot for Naruto. One with a lot of unresolved feelings. I think a lot of his focus will be on the village and Sasuke but his feelings for Sakura actually play a big part in Naruto also.

Exactly what I think. Sakura's a part in Naruto's life, and this YamiNaruto is based of Naruto's life, how he really feels and his guilts.

actually those three issues are a lot of what's brought Naruto up to this point in the series so far. His dream to be hokage/place within the village. His plight with Sasuke and the ultimate decision of what he will do when 'that time' eventually comes. And finally his resolved issues with Sakura the girl who he's been chasing for years now, as well as the person he made the promise of a lifetime for.

Because no one knows what to expect in the next chapter. Evil Naruto is going to exploit Naruto's weaknesses that much is a given.

Maybe it won't bring up the "confession" but Sakura will definitely be brought up. If it's about Naruto's life, almost 99% of his life involves his friends; were probably gonna hear about Sasuke... For sure. U.U

I would prefer in this case for Kishi to keep this event pairing neutral, because this goes deeper into the hole of Naruto's consciousness. Every single torment and anger has just manifested itself into what appears to be like some sort of Doppleganger...

It's Naruto facing himself, his desires etc. Naruto has tried to keep Sakura's promise and through everything he's loved her and now her confession and his doubts it's bound to come up. Sakura was one of the things he desires, get it? Got it? Good. Lmao.
