That sounds like there saying to not call it 3Ds, because 3D apparently makes games bad? Weird logic

No it's not bad logic, the image has to be repeated twice to create 3D. The processor can only handle so much, so their saying a 60 frame rate and better graphics can be achieved without 3D.

WTF? This is supposed to have better quality bcz it's 3D!! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! "I mean..SERIOUSLY NOW" [ok, that's a GLaDOS quote at the end boss, but it fits in this case]

Here's the thing Sakura, graphic IS important but lets face it, 3D is extremely overrated. a good graphic is nothing but one of the supporting aspect of a good game, its a selling point of course but at the end of the day, its the gameplay and processing speed that ultimately makes a game interesting. I'd rather have a game with 2D graphics... heck pixels even as long as it have interesting gameplay and great frame speed that means there is no lag during gameplay.

That is by far the greatest question ever asked? This also bring up a good point as well, why are games in 3D since most people complain about them. My guess is that it makes a game more fun to look at, but others state that the frame speed is more important. I never really cared for either, I just always play the game for the game, no matter how lame or glitchy, but thats just me, I like what I get.

The answer is quite simple really: People don't like change, that is a fact. They are used to the 2D graphic, plain and simple. If there is a way to sway people from 2D to 3D, they are either have to be extremely radical and brave or to have a 3D that can perform as good as or even better than 2D

If you play a 2D game on an XBox you're going to have a really good framerate, RIGHT?
Obviously, quality goes up when processing necessities goes down.
Isn't this common knowledge.
Anyway, I'm sure that the 3D will have a good enough framerate to work. No need to fret

I remember them saying something about it could hurt children's eyes so i wouldn't be surprised if they made 3D enabled games rated mature.

Obviously though when a game comes into 3D standards and children under the age of 17 are subjected to the violent behavior of bunnies whacking each other, slang words like "darn it" and digitalized weapons, it should most definitely be rated Mature.

That's true too. Parents are still gonna buy the rated mature games for the kids anyway. Guilty as charge when i was a kid.

I played the "M" rated games back when I was 7... maybe younger.
But then again, it's not like it was high quality back then.
Makes me wonder how future gaming will be compared to now.
20 years from now will make these M rated games look rated E or something.

Unofficial, and yet some parents get ticked when their kids go out and murder someone.
Hey, I mean. Your kid isn't mentally unstable at all. Just blame it all on GTA. What's next? Murder in 3D glasses just because he wanted to see if the blood will pop out?
Honestly, there's too many kids nowadays playing GTA online and swearing more than me.
