Bad
-Sakura's speech. maybe it was just the way she said it or translated.
-Madara immune to Kakashi Technique? Why is it that all the bad guys have so many techniques that can counter all the good guys, but the good guys have like only one or two techniques known and that's it? At least Kakashi used a few in the past even if they were copies.

I have to say this is what I call a laid back chapter. Not really bad, but not a complicated one. It closed the door to an arc...possibly...and is preparing to open a new one. I am interested to see what Kabuto is going to do now.

I hope we get like a fun chapter where Karin become interested in Naruto for whatever reason and Sakura gets jealous at her. I wouldn't mind a break in the storyline for that. Now imagine Sai there too. Ahh I can't wait. I don't see Hinata coming in the picture anytime soon. Unless Hinata has some other purpose to the story other than just being there, she is just eye candy now.

I said it before and I will say it again. I believe Madara is going to kill Sasuke or Sasuke will save Naruto and die in the process. He is conflicting with Madara's plan and I don't think he is going to take that lying down. Personally, I want Sasuke to die. It seems a fitting end for him, but also a way for him to redeem himself.

I think Sakura has more confidence in Naruto than that. She believes he is strong enough to fight, but she didn't want to be the burden that he had to die or get really hurt for her sake. She didn't want to see him get hurt because of her. She knows he is probably the most powerful Ninja between the three of them and Naruto has come out of worse so...

It's just the way she said it that urks me. I don't know. She is starting to flip personalities a lot. Hopefully after this ordeal she can stay on a one track personality.

All she can do now, or so she thinks, is to trust that Naruto and Sasuke can solve their differences and be satisfied with the results. I don't think she believes Sasuke will come back. Only that an answer can be found without someone dying.

No, what I said was I dont' read too much into a simple scene of interaction. And what Ciardha stated reminded me of simular statements, made by Sasu/Saku and Naru/Hina people. A scene of interaction completely blown out of proportion.

For instance going back to the example I used. Sakura wanted Naruto to say she looked more mature, womanly, etc.

For me it was a pretty A+B=C

Ciardha made it sound like A+B=CDEF and Z²

Ok that's enough let's get back on topic and not our views go to another thread to debate. So I am almost positive that naru and co won't be seen for a while and the manga will go back and forth between bee/kisame and kabutomaru so more action and less drama for a little while

It's like everyone in this manga has lost their goddamn minds aside from Kakashi.

Awesome to see Kisame's alive though. Same for Kabuto showing up. Granted, it's about a hundred chapters after the last time we saw him. After countless pointless diversions, he's finally back... but for what purpose, at the same time? By this point, Orochimaru is so far out of the focus of anything plotwise that it's not even funny. Guess time will tell.

The romance between Naruto and Sakura is subtle. It's there, but it is subtle. To say that the "advances" are not romantic or Sakura being playful to Naruto is not romance is like saying Sasuke is not psycho when he laughs like a mental patient and talks about reviving the Uchiha clan by killing everyone.

Yeah, I would also say that we shouldn't look at each individual moment as Sakura trying to sex-up Naruto, but as a whole and the way she interacts with him it is impossible to not say it is some kind of flirtatious at times.

I'm really hoping for some more on Naruto and Co. and then at some point in 488 we go to Kabutomaru and whatever he is doing. Also, why do so many people think he will conflict with Konoha? I know that he was Oro's right hand man and it was his late masters goal to destroy it, but he said himself he will become someone better and stronger than Oro... I don't think he'll be on Konoha's side but I don't think they have any reason to be enemies now. I think he might go after Sasuke.

Sasuke: I thought I was exaggerating when I've said that Sasuke will always find someone new to hate (to continue his violence spree), but now he added Kakashi and Naruto to his list (Itachi, Danzo, Leaf elders, Leaf village).

Sakura: It's good that she recognizes her limitations. Being humble makes her more likable then a certain raving egomaniac. I'm still holding out hope that Sakura is better/more powerful than she thinks she is, and that there is some kick-ass moment in the future when she realizes it. (But for now, it is only hope.)

Kisame: Seems like most people think he is infiltrating Lightning Country to kidnap KB?
My first thought was, what else is there in Lightning that he would want to get, that would require sneaking in? (Additional weapons, or criminal ninjas in jail, maybe.)

I suppose he could ambush KB later, and they would leave a Zetsu clone to make the Kage think his brother is dead, but they had a chance to do that in the forest as well. That's why I suspect that Madara wants something else (in addition to 8-tails).

I think he (Kabutomaru) might go after Sasuke.

One of the reasons (all of them creepy) that Oro went after Sasuke was to get the sharingan. If Kabutomaru stumbles across Madara's Wall of Weird (or Madara offers a pair of eyes for his aid), then he might not care about Sasuke anymore.
