Hmm, I believe you're correct about that. It feels too early for Sasuke to be dragged back to Konoha (at least, not without the elders and other villages being up in arms), and this confrontation would be wasted if he came out of it unchanged. Perhaps Itachi's power would reveal another side to the Uchiha Massacre? I'm thinking Madara was actually involved in that, especially with that eye collection he has going on...

Something that causes Sasuke to doubt Madara's version of events would create tension between them, make things more interesting.



Yeah, I think that's right. While Naruto and Sakura would need some private moments (oh, get your mind out of the gutter... ) to talk, I can't see them having another argument. The question is this... what will Naruto and Sakura decide to do about their relationship? Do they begin to acknowledge their feelings, or will they (god forbid) just pretend Sakura's confession never happened? Another possibility is that Sakura acknowledges her own growing feelings for Naruto, and Naruto still holds back but begins to wonder. Hopefully, we'll see something in the aftermath of Naruto vs Sasuke!

I think that's what will happen ( Or I would want it too happen ). It's always been Naruto chasing Sakura well maybe it will end up the other way around. It's still even possible for Hinata to be talked to. While the Hinata confession was a long time ago it still could be brought back up as obviously lots of things get brought back up a long time later. Maybe Sakura will set here strait haha

I know most of you have stated that Naruto has never given up on Sasuke and that it would defeat the purpose but honestly....Sometimes things in the manga don't even make sense. Why exactly was there that panel with team 7s picture shattering if this was Naruto's conclusion ? Why did he break down if he didn't actually lose hope ? It just seems like a contradiction to me....

That being said Sasuke has really grown tiresome....I'm not sure about the rest of you but it just seems like he's throwing a lifelong temper tantrum. Honestly, I think Sasuke being redeemed would detract from the series. He's such a spoiled brat it's not even funny....his assumption that his life was harder than Naruto's ? Ugh....self-absorbed....

I think to answer or sum that up "only Kishi knows what he's doing". Their's been times were I thought Naruto was suffering from a severe case of Bipolar disorder (Still do), but no one really knows why Kishi does a lot of things this way.

Back on topic, I think the poison is going to kick in by next chapter and it will give Sasuke a chance to stab Naruto but Kakashi or Sakura will take the blow and Madara showing up to Whisk Sasuke away, which will make Naruto feel like he's a failure that I mentioned earlier.

Anyways, if Naruto is poisoned I don't see why it would affect him, right before one of there first missions he got hurt by poison and when Kakashi wrapped it he said (In his mind) that the nine-tails was already healing it. Maybe Kishimoto wants him to become weak off this poison for a bit for whatever reason, I just hope Madara comes soon, I don't wanna see Sasuke's face anymore.

Perhaps the reason why the pic of team seven shattering in Naruto's mind means or symbolizes, that things won't go back to the way they were. The team seven from the past won't return Naruto has always thought that if he brings back Sasuke it will be like the good old days for him with his team. Remember the flashbacks he had of the team and Sakura from part 1 still seeing her as that 12 year old Sasuke fan girl, now after he learns the truth about her intentions with Sasuke I don't think he sees her like that anymore. My point is that he views or perhaps he viewed his teammates as their 12 year old selves meaning that he's been stuck in the past where all his good memories with team seven were.

Now I believe he has finally opened his eyes to reality and he's seeing them as different people, he knows that they have change and they aren't the same 12 year olds they were. He must be aware if he finds a way that if Sasuke gets redeem Konoha won't receive him with open arms since they have lost their respect on him and they only see him as a dangerous criminal or traitor. The same goes with Sakura he now realized she's not the same fan girl anymore she has truly matured in his eyes. Naruto knows team seven from the past is gone, now I believe he wants to keep their teammate bond as a new team seven in present time.

I really don't like the prediction of Naruto being poisoned... C'mon, do we really want Naruto become depressed, slowed down and useless again?! Its like blowing the character off again. Then, we're gonna hear more from the Sakura haters because Naruto didn't know the kunai is poisoned and they will accused poor Sakura on that issue whenever if Naruto pass out after the Rasengan/Chidori clash and she finds out and cries for him (even though Sasuke was about to kill her and Naruto rescued her as the kunai was about to hit the skin). And about the poison in general, its hardly gonna affect him because of the Kyuubi's healing abilities.

Er...I kinda worked most of that out on my own but...that's not really something I could see Naruto breaking down over. I mean the only thing I can see him breaking down over is if he believed Sasuke was completely irredeemable.

As for the poison affecting Naruto, I'd say it's possible especially if Sakura studied Sasori's poison and made a even more powerful one. Maybe just potent enough to immobilize Naruto for a couple minutes. I may be wrong but I don't recall the Kyuubi doing instant regeneration on Naruto's wounds it still took several hours for him to fully recover in the past while other ninja's recovered days/weeks.

Yeah, neither Sakura or Kakashi expressed concerned about it, so that basically tells me Kishimoto isn't going to have Naruto be affected by it. If it had been an issue Sakura would have reached up and healed the cut and given him an antidote.
