Don't know if anyone noticed this but it looks like Naruto is wearing black gloves. Maybe its his sleeve but it looks like that from 2 angles.

isnt it funny that sasuke could probably use karin now more than ever but she was "USELESS" to him just a bit ago?

XDDDDDD SO TRUE! I used to think Karin was just a fangirl... She's definitely proven herself otherwise now. I can't believe how important she is now. What happened to Juugo and Suigetsu though? Where will they come in again? If at all?

all i have to say is sakura whos arms would you rather be in? the guy who had his hand around your throat trying to choke the life out of you or the ones that took you away to safety? like seriously shouldn't the damn answer be obvious to the girl

no it doesnt look like he has gloves when he left yamato so i dont think he has any unless he put some on en route to kaka and saku

I kinda thought that too O_O Who knows? I think it was just the sleeve because when he escaped Yamato he wasn't wearing any.

I noticing it as well. But I believe that his hands are covered in bandages like Lee's. Or Kishi extended his sleeves...

But let me put my thoughts:

OMG!!! NARUTO FTW!!! What an epic and badass entrance!!! Though I'm still mad that Sakura's now damsel... Kishi, your Sakura haters are having field days (and I'm gonna hear their mouths next week at school), you NEED to stop making her weak and start giving Sakura heroic moments. Her feelings and flashbacks are not I'm complaining but this turning "damsel in distress and now not being part of the action" is like a big turn off! C'mon Kishi, I want "EPIC STRENGTH! Sakura" back, not weepy "Why Sasuke, WHY?!! Sakura"! (And I blame him for everything... The psycho needs to go away, like NAO!!!)

This was an amazing chapter. Wow.....yeah, wow. I did not think Sakura was going to try and kill Sasuke again. When Naruto came I was extremely surprise and then made because it ended there. I cannot, cannot wait until next week

Wow! I just have to laugh at all the different reactions to this chapter and Sakura did this and didn't do that yada yada yada....

Now I agree with Catsi's observation with the bench scene. It sets the tone for all 3 main characters in the manga. Sakura's misconception of Sasuke (The Sasuke she thinks he was) Naruto's view of Sakura and even Sasuke's view of Sakura. That is the starting point for all of them and their bonds. Sakura based Sasuke's character on how he was at the bench scene and through out the manga in part 1 seemed to try to get that Sasuke to come back or show signs of that Sasuke. Granted at times Sasuke did treat her kindly and protected her, but did so as a teammate and friend not as a love interest while Sakura took it as care in a more intimate way. Sakura's feelings are genuine in part 1 and to an extent in part 2 but they are all a based on the impression Naruto created while henged as Sasuke. I perceived Sasuke's "Thank you" as being genuine for she really did truly care for him and at the time and appreciates her attempt to stop or assist him but he did state that he wasn't the same as Sakura and Naruto and he was doing what he felt he needed to do and sacrificing everything in order to do it. Remember his hate was only directed at his brother at this time and eventually it shifted to all of Konoha and that is including Sakura and company now.

Let's not forget, if Naruto was an ordinary Ninja he would've been killed at the VOTE and Sasuke didn't hesitate there either. In addition Naruto hesitated in killing Sasuke just like Sakura has in this chapter and the one prior. Naruto and Sakura both value their bonds with Sasuke and their team and obviously at this point Sasuke has no belief in those type of bonds romantic or friendly anymore.

I'm not worried with the flashback of Sakura's to the "Thank you" scene because it just shows she is clinging to the hope of "that" Sasuke is still there whether its the one Naruto created or the Sasuke that at one time had a bond with Team 7. Obviously now she is getting a heavy dose of reality that the old Sasuke is gone and its hard for her to deal with at the moment. Of course she still has feelings for him, she created bonds with him as well as Naruto romantic or not and its not easy to kill a person you've trusted, loved and befriended. The way I look at the situation at Sasuke is like a family pet that needs to be put down for its own good. A pet that you love and grew up with but now is a danger to not only yourself but others around you. Its tough to make that decision because of the emotional investment you've spent with the pet and its not something that you can make on a whim.

In closing, I enjoyed the chapter and look forward to the conversation (hopefully soon) between Naruto and Sakura. As I stated before I believe the bench scene is important and needs to resolved in order for Naruto and Sakura to have a better understanding of each other and I hope it gets resolved soon.

People still have a hope for an a** kicking Sakura ? Im honestly accepting that its not likely going to happen. She is a ninja of Konaha, and Sasuke is a large threat to the village. Love, or not she needs to handle herself better or get a new profession. A student in my english class said women would make horriable presidents because they would have trouble seperating their hearts from their logic . Ive got problems with that assumption, so I'm rapidly losing interest in her character. I once admired her for her developing strength. As of rite now I dont think she is good representation of an awesome ninja, she apparently is better suited for the hospital. I feel like a real ninja would do what she has to for her village, her love (platonic or not) should fall behind her love for Konaha, otherwise why bother becoming a ninja? Call me cold hearted, but i'd rather have Sakura be crisp and calculating over being the girl who is overuled by her feelings of love. She can be a lover, but if a romance is a Sakura is ment to amount to then Kishi im going to get a bit too personal and say Im offended.

The bit with Naruto was pretty cool, but the two weeping female ninja, just killed it for me

You have to look at the fights Sakura participates in. So far, she is an excellent ninja on the battlefield and also one of the best medics ever. She just cant bring herself to kill Sasuke, it doesn't mean that she is some weak person, just someone who is too kind in heart to do what is necessary. Sakura is still that strong, smart, amazing ninja. She is the heroine, its just that they are dealing with Sasuke right now.

Sakura really hasn't killed anyone yet in the manga. The only person she really fought was Sasori and we can all agree that he wasn't really human in the end anyways. Sasuke definitely has something to do with it but killing ANYONE in general would probably be difficult for her in the end.

lol i was never implying she was weak i was merely stating that with that second attack if she had had a smoke bomb with that sleeping powder she had before they coulda had an easier time with sasuke. Oh well at least this way she will be forced to deal with the new sasuke

Everytime I think I've caught up reading this thread a new one pops up. So I'm just going to post.

1) Great entrance by Naruto.
2) Sakura, needs to fight again, maybe not to kill, even though he is nukenin they could beat him up and take him in for questioning.
3) Even though he was in sage mode, I like how Naruto is looking determined at Sasuke in the last panels with his regular eyes, seeing what he has to do.
4) Sasuke... super saiyan power levels? I know MS techniques with an Uchiha is less strenuous than non-uchiha's (Kakashi) but man... he was able to power up and fire off another Susano'o?
5) Karin's healed... what will she do? Where's the rest of Hebi?
6) NS forever.
