guys one manga has a completely different translation...

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?

Hm... I think the onemanga translation sounds a bit more... complete? It sounds, oh how should I say this, it sounds more like it should sound. I have no idea why but Sakura doesn't really sound like she's lying like in the mangafox translation. They're both similar but somehow I'm liking this translation better.

The mangafox translation had it's words sound waaaaay too strong. I mean, Naruto basically said "I hate people who lie to themselves" and the person he's talking about is Sakura. It's like he's saying he hates her, which he does not.

I didn't say she lied. I just said it was rushed.

Also the word used in the raw can be used for love or like so like lot's of Japanese you have to use context in order to decide what it's trying to say. I seriously doubt she was meaning to say like with that look on her face.

Does this look like she lying? In this she has a kind looking face , with her eye looking like they wear back at the feeding chapter.

That seemed more genuine but if you follow the rest of the scene, it isn't. It's her still clinging to Sasuke while her heart isn't fully there anymore. Like I said previously, she know she does in her heart but this scene honestly stinks. My reaction to the whole situation is the same as Naruto's in the last panel.

Also look at the disbelief and disgust in all of Team 7's faces, from Sai to Kakashi and Yamato. Kakashi just stops Yamato because he knows that Naruto isn't truly an idiot and would pick this up right away but all of them where like "WTF?!?!?!"

I'd say it's a fake looking smile. But is it because she still loves Sasuke? I doubt it. I think she want's him back to but for naruto's sake also.

It doesn't really matter if she meant it or not. She said it to hide her secret agenda. Because she is lying it makes the whole conversation fake in Naruto's eyes.

This chapter changes little in my opinion. It just didn't read well at all, and I lost a little faith in NaruSaku after reading it. Have you ever ordered a dvd online, waited and skipping around being all hyped, only to get a crappy bootleg with horrible subtitles dumped in your mailbox? It's a little like that. I've been waiting for a confession of the heart, but I get plastic fantastic. I'm not about to take this serious, so I'll just laugh it off.

Now, next chapter I expect Sakura to go "LOL, I was just pulling your leg. Seriously though, we should go get Sasuke-kun and all that jazz, but don't get yourself into any trouble you can't get out of because of me."

yeah he cant write a prprer romance. thats hwy Hinata and Naruto arent making babies at this veyr instance. thats why sakura and Sasuke havent declared their undying love with eahc other with Ino making moon eyes on the side.

first off hes given us one of the longest developed, deepest and most well written romances in Manga to date. Naruto and Sakura are not jsut falling together, this confession isnt coming out of nowhere, and it isnt going to be like some fairy tale hollywood stupidity that far far too many people take as gospel.

hell that hollywood crap is half the reason that romance and relationships nowadays are so fragged up and the divorce rate is through the frekaing roof.

Romance and love are not clean nice squeaky pretty flowery pictures where the girl or guy confesses their heart felt feelings and the other simply melts at their heart warming and flowery prose. before spending all their lives together to raise a wonderful family aww

WAKE UP!!!!

love is messy and frightening and risky. Confessions arent done in perfect moments with fireworks in the back ground and dancers and singers cruning ballads of undying love.

they happen in restaurants and on the street, where the guy accidently drops the ring in the spaghetti plate or is so nervous he spills the wine bottle in his dates lap.

if this werent the case then the end result wouldnt have been Sakura hugging naruto at the conclusion of the Pain fight. it would have been Hinata greeting him with that Hug.

but it wasnt. It was SAKURA.

Sakura does love him. But now things are a mess for the two of them.

Sakuras trying to protect Naruto the only way she knows how. Shes trying to save him by keeping him from the truth of Sasuke and at the same time let him know that shes open to his feelings.

Narutos trying to save his best friend for the promise he made ot the woman hes in love with. But more so its also that he may be trying to protect Sakura as well.

remeber the last person who confessed to him right in front of him got impaled on a black spike.

and that was Hinata whom he barely knew and interacted with. Imagine what would happen if that were sakura in her place, the world would be ashes.

and as an final note.

Sasuke is not going to ahve some magical revelation about Sakura that will bring him winging back to Konoha like a Hawk.

No because once again Kishimoto has outdone himself in the romance department.

hes given us Karin a drastically underestimated and ((quite frankly)) wrongly villified girl, who treates Sasuke like an equal, who has saved his life at least once, and who when her life was on the line inspired more emotion out of Sasuke then any of us have ever seen since his rage exploded agaisnt Naruto at the valley of the end.

the relationship hes devleoped between these two ahs bene subtle but shockingly deep and hes done it with even fewer chapters then our own beloved NaruSaku.

id quite frankly put him as an outstanding author who has a solid grasp on romance especially in the context of an action packed shonen manga.

so lets cut the man some slack and let him write his story.

you have to remember and keep in mind what a fake smile is for in anime/manga.

they are used to protect.

to protect someone from pain or lonliness or a bad situation. such as the situation when Naruto hurt Sakura in KN4, or when Naruto made the first POaL.

so what is Sakura protecting naruto or herself from.

also as an aside.

in the moment she tells the rookies to ket her talk. She says "And also"

And also what??

I wasn't trying to make it sound like they wear real life. I knew they wern't real life to being with, I just had a experience like Sakura's that was what I was trying to say.
