No. I mean it might be with the Xbox 360 version. But any Final Fantasy gamer holds a certain level of 'pride' for having at *least* 60-100 hours of gameplay. For me, I have never played a FF game much less *any* RPG for example Kingdom Hearts, without getting at least 100 hours. It's just a matter of honour with some gamers

Ohh, okay. Time completion never really crossed my mind on past FF titles unless theirs a trophy/achievement like God of War on PS3.

There's no real rewards for it.
You know what it is 'bout son.
FF street creed, suckah. Bring it on, let me get my saves, yo, I'll make you ragequit and never get a FF in yo' life, SON.

Word. I have a LOT of people who pretty much act this way with Final Fantasy Games

Lol, well not me. Besides just mentioning it to you guys, the only person who knows I gamenerd my RPGs to 100+ is myself XD
And it's not like I do it to say "zomg 100 hours!1!".
No. I actually *enjoy* every minute of gameplay and there is usually so much content in these rpgs, that if you *fully* max out the game (plus cutscenes XD) from the start, you can't help but to come up with 80-100 hours of gameplay ^^

That's true, I use to try to max every item, weapon, and magic out when I used to played FF7, FF8, and FF10.

*nodsnods* Yup, that's how I play =3
Because I'm only ever going to play an RPG one time and one time only. So, I might as well get everything that I possibly can to enjoy the game to its full 100% maximum :3

Well thats understandable, you might as well get your moneys worth. Im talking about the people who make FF an unhealthy obsession and beat the games + max out just for the sake of telling other people about it.

I've only done 99+ hours with four games. FFVII, FFIX KH I, and Xenogears. I probably would have put FFXII on there two, but well I'm waiting to get my ps3 back. ^^
Also I've played all the way through FFVII four times, FFIX four times, KH I three times, and I can't tell you how many times I played through Xenogears. I know it's in the double digits.

Dang that sucks, maybe you can return the item if they come up with a recall or return with your purchase/billing receipt.

Square refuses to admit there is a problem, they keep saying to people "you probably scratched up the disc" and bs like that. Luckily I only rented FF13 and y'know what after over 24 wasted hours (combined over 5 days) of playing this game....because I can't finish the game and a piss poor ending (I looked it up on YouTube) I can officially say this game is the worst Final Fantasy. I could've done better things with those 24 hours....like play Mass Effect 2 or some other superior RPG. I won't be playing 14 because I can't stand MMOs and the hell with 13 versus.

Registering the PS3 version will get you code that will give you a special in game item for FFXIV. You can also enter the code when you apply for the beta, not sure if it guarantees anything though.
