Uh... unfortunately, the robe got split in half due to the power of the transformation.
What's Happening with the Naruto series as of now!

I just wonder if Pain will still have enough chakra to beat Naruto in round 2, and Then also abduct him away from Konoha...
Of all the people we could potentially see jump into this fight I still predict to see Madara at some point, cuz you Know he's somewhere watching all of this, or his spy birds are around...
Anyway, I can't wait to see where all of this goes. I'm not going to piss and moan if the story doesn't go *my way* because there's nothing that Kishi can do to make me stop reading

6 Tailed Naruto is gonna tear God Realm to shreds and then go on a little rampage (hopefully not killing anyone) before Yamato hopefully shows up and returns him back to human form. That's what I think will happen anyway.

I must have missed that then

I disagree. Whether she got closure is dependent upon the purpose of her feelings and this confession. If it's primary purpose is to show her courage then she has come full circle. Even as she improved as a ninja, she was still the meek little girl around Naruto. From what little we saw in part 2, this was the final lingering attachment to that old persona. Here she able to overcome that and tell him how she felt while confronting an enemy light years ahead of her in ability; a enemy she knew would kill her. That she is even able to express herself at all is a demostration of that courage and severs that attachment to the weak individual she used to be.
Whether Naruto returns them or not has no bearing on this whatsoever. The act of telling him alone is the representation of courage and shows that she has grown the spine she desired and is able to help muster the courage to try and help him like she longed to do. He could love her, he could reject her. Neither result changes what the confession itself represents. Thus, if the purpose of this is about her changing, then the confession is the resolution.
If the purpose was more geared toward pairings, then yes, there isn't closure. However, IMO, everything about this confesssion suggests that it was far more about Hinata than it was NaruHina.
I'll tell you right now: Only time and Kishi knows!! There's nothing we can do to change anything here anyway, so why not let Kishi tell his story and see what he'll do with it? I like to read crack pairings more than canon pairings anyway.
Personally, I think that guy over at Mangahelpers (linked somewhere in the thread) nailed what's about to happen with Kyuubi. I think Hinata's most likely dead and that she will not stop him. Sakura will probably not stop him either. I think the most likely result is Naruto goes into a blind rage and not only fails to defeat God Pain, but does a ton of collateral damage in the process.
What Naruto is doing is very, very understandable, but also very, very reckless and very, very stupid. Naruto couldn't control Kyuubi at four tails. Now he is at six and was already approaching a blind range BEFORE transformation. He's going to have zero control of this. If Naruto does in fact do a lot of collateral damage, it gives Danzou an enourmous amout of ammunition to use against both Naruto and Tsunade. If the Danzou thread is relevant then this is a great opprotunity for him.
If that guy is correct on what Kishi is doing (and I think he is) and that the intent is to inflict pain on Naruto, then Hinata surviving and stopping him before he does something stupid is quite possibly the worst possible result as it undo's so much of what has been set up because Naruto still isn't going to understan what Pain means by pain.
My interpretation is that Pain is trying to make Naruto understand his pain. From Pain's perspective it appears Naruto cannot understand his position because is unable to understand Pain's experience. The other reason I think that this is where he is going is because of Pain's reaction. Naruto maybe be flaunting tons of power, but he doesn't look like he's the one in control of this fight. Pain looks to be the one in control.
Come on, man. You know that won't happen.
(1) Hinata's death does not make NaruSaku a guarantee. It only eliminates NaruHina. Those two things are not the same.
(2) More importantly, in most fandoms the ending of the series doesn't even end pairing wars. Just look at Harry Potter.
There will always be an issue for fans to fight about.

He makes a point. I still weep at the HP pairings.
It'll be a looooooong looong while before the pairing wars are over because people can't accept canon (that isn't their own) pairings in a snap. So it'll be a looong wait.

I was thinking more along the lines of Madara showing up trying to take control of the kyuubi's chakra with his sharingan but it might be a little far fetched.

There is that possibility. Much has been made or speculated of Madara being responsible for the Jyubis rampage 16 years ago. Could he have been planning for or hoping for just this moment. now he has a 6 tailed mini kyubbi to control and use to destroy what remains fo Konoha.
not a guarantee mind you but a possibility

No kidding. Pain is one sick sonuvakitten. This guy has no remorse at all at who gets in his way. I'm amazed Madara can "order" him around...

Yeah, though it also brings up the question of if Itachi was lying about Madara being weaker than he's been portrayed as in history to protect Sasuke from making an attempt against him as well? Even with what answers Kishimoto-sensei gives us, he still has more questions arise. XD

I am glad people have calmed down a bit from this morning I thought there was a bit to much panicking going on.
My Opinion
I liked the chapter which is something I haven't been able to say about Naruto for a while before the current arc started. Hinata has shown the fire I always believed was in her and I am glad for her though it may lead to her death.
I still favor Narusaku but I am glad Hinata had her moment in the sun
I can't wait until next week!

So although I do feel there is a connection with Hinata. Her confessing her love for him out of the blue, does not necessarily make their bond stronger. I would still like to see her live. I think it would be cool to see some kind of love triangle with her and Sakura. I think Sakura already senses that her feelings towards her are wavering towards Naruto. Seeing that she has competition for his attention may be what their relationship needs. Naruto has always been her Rock. When she's needed protection or needed to be lifted up, it has always been him. So I don't see her just leeting Hinata walk in and take that from her.

And, unless there is more interaction with Hinata and Naruto later, I don't see this as "the moment" that changes Naruto's feelings towards the one he loves. If Naruto is to change his feelings, I think it would have to be more than just this one moment. And if Sakura is able to change him back to human form, then I'd be extremely happy.
Besides NaruSaku, with the return of Neiji. Do you think the two scout teams with the help of Neiji's abilities could enhance their ability to find Nagato? At least that would give a good reason they are showing his team returning. And the Rods. Does the body have to be dead for him to control with the Rods? hmmm. So far it's just assumed it can only be dead bodies.

**aikitteneru is the closest way to say I love you. It comes from Aisu which means "to love" and te iru, which when attached to a verb means that the verb is currently in progress (itteiru means am going; yondeiru, am reading) so literally it means "I am loving you"
Depends...i'm not all that advanced either.
