WEll, reason I don't think Lelouch X Kallen will happen, is just the simple fact that Kallen is not bonded to Lelouch in the same way as C.C is to Lelouch. Kallen may have physical attractions and love etc, but C.C is just like complete linked to Lelouch in a way.

I like Kallen x Lelouch as well, so I see where you are going.

Though I'm hoping for like hardout-ness. Kallen x Lelouch x C.C

I prefer Lelouch X Kallen as well, but it seems to me that Lelouch has forgotten all about her. After all, she's in some Britannian facility getting groped by Suzaku and he isn't doing a thing. And those teasers were probably:

1. Comedic moments

2. Kallen's development in her "arc" with Lelouch (I'm influenced by visual novels and Kanon/Clannad)

3. Fanservice

Well, He's talking about her in the preview for 16, so he hasn't forgotten her at all And he'll go back to Japan during next episode and I'm sure Kallen will escape by then as well. Kallen having a moment with Nunally means something as well in my opinion. Nunally is the bridge between Lelouch and Zero after all.

And lol, Kallen didn't have much of an arc...we still don't know a lot about her (we know about her past globally, but that's it.) but her character has developped a lot this season, mostly because of Lelouch. And I'm not expecting them to throw it away. I'm expecting to see even more about her to be honest.

I still see a confession happening at some point, probably from Kallen's side.

Yeah, I just think that Lelouch X C.C has become the most likely pairing, almost inevitable like Haruhi X Kyon. Though I don't have to like it...

C.C is no more at this point...We now have a 10 year old slave girl. And I don't see her regaining her memories without her getting back her powers and immortality as well...and we know c.c doesn't want that. So I wonder which way they'll go.

They say that the power of the kings (geass) will lead one down the pad of loneliness. I see this coming true:
-He lost Euphy and Shirley
-He lost nunally for now (he can't even talk to her)
-He lost Kallen for now (Brittania has her for now)
-He lost C.C (the old c.c is gone)
-I see him losing the black knights pretty soon (their faith in him seems to be wavering)

So in the end, I see him ending up with Kallen and C.C at his side.

Will he get together with anyone at all in the end? I don't know. The creator said that Lelouch will have a satisfying ending, so this could mean:
-Lelouch wins and will live with Nunally in peace
-Lelouch will die, knowing he has given Nunally a better world
-Lelouch will end up with either Kallen or C.C or maybe both in some way

There are more options of course, but I think these are the ones with the best chances.

I'd say both Kallen and C.C have 50% chance now. ( -ends his rant here- )

Unless you consider getting into awkward positions with Lelouch development, although that's more of a hidden talent in my opinion. Her butt has probably had more screen time than she has. Though to be fair that goes for most characters in Code Geass as well.

I'm simply stating things as I see them. C.C is a girl who gave Lelouch his Geass, is his confidant, his accomplice, and knows every single thing he has done as well as all his regrets. She knows him best. He, in turn, knows that she simply wants to be loved. That makes things concrete for me, although I would love it if Kallen surprised me.

And well, I would say that the balance is currently tipped in C.C's favour, but it is possible for Kallen to come back within the next few episodes.

Gave this series a try, I think it's overrated but maybe that's just my bias because I don't like mecha anime or anything by Clamp.

Plot device XD (they had to get her out of the way in order to start Shirley and C.C's arcs)

I think Lelouch will find a way around the second. Can't really see C.C dying. Though that might pave the way for Kallen to take centre stage.

Well, I don't think that Kallen needs C.C out of the way for something to happen. At this point the story could go either way. Both C.C and Kallen have a bond with Lulu and he showed interest in both of them during the story (in his lulu kind of way XD). We'll have to wait until Kallen escapes/gets saved and gets back into the story until we can really say more though.

And well, when C.C had her memories, I definitely saw her dying in the end. I had this feeling in season 1 and season 2 was building up to it as well (especially when they introduced the sword of Akasha) Now that she lost her memories...I don't really know. There's not much reason to kill her off now, nor will she be able to play a big role in the future like this.

So she might get her memories back, but I wonder how. Did Lulu geass her when she was falling and he made her look at her? Or was it because of the sword of Akasha? Once we learn this, then we might figure out more.

And lol, we'll probably get no pairing at all or a Lulu x Nunally (brother-sister love, not romantic) ending anyways XD

She's the most important person to him, of course she'd come to his mind at that time (especially since he's a noob when it comes to love)

And btw...C.C's connection to Anya and Marianne hasn't been made clear yet. Yeah, we know that C.C and Marianne used to be together in the past, and we know that Anya resembles Marianne quite a bit, but that's it. Maybe this will play an important role in getting c.c's memories back?

The episode was like the silence before the storm. The battle for Japan has been announced. Everyone is preparing for the battle: the black knights, China, Brittania, and even the knights of round are there.

Brittania vs everything that is not Brittania from now on

C.C really converted back to a 10-year old girl. Seems like they're focusing on friendship. She just wants someone to be her friend. That is all she wants. ;_;

Seems like Kallen has been talking to Nunally more than once. I think she will escape pretty soon and it looks like her guren had some modifications Kick some ass out there, Kallen! =D

Finally. The meeting between Suzaku and Lelouch. Not to mention Freya. I wonder how this will all play out...

Can't wait to see Kallen in her new guren. Lloyd and Cecile have been working at it and they say that not just anyone will be able to ride it. Lloyd wanted Suzaku to ride it, but Nina stopped him. Kallen will probably use it to battle the big knights of round.

I think Jeremiah called Guilford to tell him that they had Cornelia and that he had to get Nunally to safety or something like that. I think Nunally will be the one to free Kallen though. That would make sense if you combine it with the opening and ending songs (the paper crane and the cage). And there is the chance that Kallen will be able to escape when Lelouch activates the Gefjun Disturber throughout the city.

Seems like Suzaku wants to ask Lulu why he had to kill Euphy. It will be hard to do so, because Euphy was important to Lulu himself as well. And even if Lulu would tell the truth...do you think that Suzaku would believe him?

And also...after Lelouch 'hurt' C.C...we got a view at the chessboard. Code geass uses chess pieces often to foreshadow events to come. A lot of the black pieces were knocked over, especially his pawns (black knights?) and the black king (Zero) was covered with C.C's blood. I wonder if this is a bad sign..

So much going on at the moment. I can't wait.

And yeah, the real battle is about to begin. Lulu seems to be taking the dark side because of what happened in episode 16. Somehow I think Kallen will snap him out of it, especially since she's learned what kind of character lelouch really is (from Nunally).

Kallen is back!! The new guren pwns (overpowered lol XP). She killed Luciano (saw that one coming from a long mile) and Suzaku easily.

Suzaku fired the freya because of his live command, when Kallen was about to kill him...Guilford, Asahina, Romeyer killed in the blast...Maybe Nunally and Sayoko too!!! DX

Looks to me like Lelouch has lost it for good. Nunnally, his sanity, and the trust of the Black Knights. I'm not looking forward to what comes next.

This can become the turning point or the breaking point in Code geass.

This could make Lelouch look at the bigger picture, or it could totally tear him apart. I think Kallen and C.C are his only hope at the moment.

And I'm interested in Anya (and not just because she's a loli ) I wonder what her connection with Lelouch is.

I've tried to watch the Code Geass dub on Adult Swim, but I could not get into it. The first episode I watched was episode 13, I believe. (It was the one where Shirley and Lelouch hug in the rain. I think.) Is it best to start with the subbed episode 1? Or, if I didn't like the episodes in the middle of the series, I won't like the first one either.

Initially (and I still am somewhat), I really didn't like the character designs. However, I also thought the Macross Frontier females were rather ugly , but now it's my favorite anime of the moment. I don't really like the unbelieavbly long appendages. XD
