Well quite an intense set of matches against Smiter. At first I was overwhelming him against Chun-Li and I was all 'psh what a scrub'..until he decides to pull out Cammy and I'm losing a hundred times in a row..I don't what happened but all of a sudden I completely lost all tact against her. Those low kicks are the death of me. I don't know whether to block or dodge them and before I know it I'm hit with an Ultra combo! Curse you Smiter I will have my revenge!

I need to really practice against Cammy now because its hard to defend against her low attacks. She's quite a tricky opponent to deal with.

It was like things just clicked. All of a sudden, I was annilihating True! When I pulled off 4 Ultra KOs in a row, AND did a Perfect, I began to wonder if Cammy was a better fit for me than Chun-Li. After True and I finished, I went to Challenge Mode and easily completed Cammy's Normal Trials.

Yeah, going to try using Cammy as my character from now on!

Of course, I fully expect True to bite back hard next time we meet. Looking forward to our next match!

Smiter I did the same thing that you did. Originally I wanted to use only Fei Long and Chun Li, and have Cammy as a back-up. But then over a friend's house I tried Cammy. I wiped the floor with my friend with 10 straight wins. I now use Cammy as my main. I got better with her than my Shotos.

Her Cannon Spike is nothing short of amazing and it covers such a large area, with quick recovery.

Oh yea I wanted to say for anyone that's interesting in the game or interesting in improving your game, I'd suggest going over to Shoryuken.com. Place got reviews, forums for every character, and they're really, really in depth. If you guys thought you all were hardcore gamers, you should go over to there. Those guys are intense.

To get Akuma you need to get 2 perfects and use no continues. Then the match after Seth you fight Akuma. Beat him and you got him.

To get Gouken, you need to first beat it once with Akuma. Then start another game. Get 2 perfects and finish 3 matches with your Ultra combo. After you beat Seth, then you fight Gouken.

The easiest way, everyone says to do is put the game on the easiest level and set it to one round. Another suggestion I've read if you're having a hard time getting perfects or even if you want to complete the Survival and Time challenges, is to use Zangief and just spam his spinning lariat. He's temporarily invulnerable while he does it.

Welcome to the World Warrior Tournament, Shauna and Derock!

Yes, Chun-Li's Challenges are tricky. I think it's because she demands a lot of skill from the player. Cammy is easier to learn, but you have to learn how to play mindgames with Cammy, and her Ultra can be a very vicious punishment when her opponent misses with a big move.

Addition to the Akuma unlock - you need to unlock Fei Long, Sakura, Cammy, Dan, Gen and Rose first. Then simply do what No WhereMan said with a character who has already completed Arcade Mode.

I've been visiting the Shoryuken forums as well. Sometimes it's like they're speaking a completely different language, but you eventually figure out what they're talking about. XD; They really do have great advice for strategies, and I've been learning to refine my Cammy strategy. I also learnt her "secret move" Tiger Knee Cannon Strike. Essentially, it's a Cannon Strike (aka Dive Kick) that triggers the millisecond you leave the ground. It's tricky to pull off, but it can help keep opponents guessing.

I hope we can all play together online this weekend.

Amazon charges 30$ to ship to India.... also.... They don't ship anything other than books
and the B******* at capcom are the ones responsible for the ridiculous official pricetag of 80$ for the game here.

hell....... its painful coz all other games are 40$ here. even collectors editions of other games never cross 50$...
