I hear ya. XD Kataang is just too sugary and sweet in my opinion. Whereas NaruSaku, well... let's just say that both has lots of personality that make the ship more interesting, not saying that kataang isn't any of course... it just bores me... But Zutara... The clashing personalities hooked me in right away. XD Then again... maybe I've been reading too many of those love/hate/enemies/lovers stories on fictionpress hehe...

Regardless, I can't wait to see the second half of Book 3 so that we can end this shipping war once and for all.

I just noticed something: Zuko and his family hve pretty light skin even though they live in the sunny and hot part of the world. The water tirbe people have kind of dark skin even though they live at the Poles. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?

aang kissed katara MORE than enough times for her to react. but all she's been doing is, "hay omfg whut the heck is he doing" so far.

i'm not saying that it's possible to actually end it with katara and zuko getting together by the end of the season, but it IS possible for the finale to lead into zutara.

That was kinda why I said HELLO MAIKO!! As nice as it is for Mai to realize that she loves Zuko and Zuko to love Mai, she is seriously one of the most monotonous boring characters on Avatar . I am totally being honost, there is no support at all for Zutara. It's the NaruHina factor.


Small smidgen of hints are layed out for a new couple to arise, since anime creators love to screw with us (Naruto, Bleach, Ruroni Kenshin, One Piece, so on and so forth), and they focus on one couple. However, people choose a couple that seems 'cuters, more supportable in looks factor', when they obviously ignore the plot around those 'moments'.


For example, people say that Katara had strong feelings for Zuko, so she tried to heal his scar, but Zuko, apparently, did a 360 degress turn and attacked Aang. Katara helped defend Aang and attacked Zuko, and that totally crushed the pairing's smudgen.


Now, let's move on to the newest season. That was particularly void of Zutara moments. Infact, it set the pairing back ten miles, while it blitz'd the Katang pairing forward, as well as Maiko, and Sokka's pairing (the name escapes me at the moment).


Katang have been around substantionally longer, and have more moments. Aang even kissed her on multiple occasions, gaining blushes, etc. Katara has rarely been mean to Aang, and has been ferocious towards Zuko. It's basically about 5 seasons against a few minutes of episodes, and I believe I have just rolled a critical.

This fanfic is a must read for any Kataang/Tokka fan. Its one of the few good Avatar fanfictions out there.

WOAH. now those are the CRAZY zutarians that i'd rather not like to know. but i digress, i get crazy bout the fandom too sometimes, but i don't go as far as using words like "STRONG FEELINGS" and "IN LOVE" and the like... totally would kill my arguement. XD

i would just say that she was being the person that she was when she offered to heal his scar. (:

if i remember correctly, it took Sokka around TWO episodes to fall in love with Yue and vice versa. As well as with Suki, that didn't take more than 3 episodes also. *cough...and what's canon right now for Sokka? ....cough*

Katara was ambiguous to it. We don't know if she liked it nor if she hated it. So that right there opens the threshold to Zutara, IMO.

i have a lot to say about this, but really i can ask something that could sum it up...

Which relationships are the most worthy? The ones that have no problems whatsoever and seem to go perfectly fine? Or the ones that have the Push and Pull theory where the relationship is WORTH the trouble of fighting.

It's like the faults in eachother.

It makes it more enduring.

And okay, you brought up Katara's anger yes? Well take this for example: Have you ever been so mad at someone that wasn't worth it? That wasn't worth the tears of frustration or the icy disposition? Or even the grudge that lasts forever?

See? I say that's a good thing on our side. Katara wouldn't be so hurt by Zuko's betrayal and remember even all this time later, if he wasn't worth the threats and anger and frustration.

The most loved ones are the hardest to fight for AND with, IMO.

acutally it's THREE seasons, guy. And as i stated above:

Sokka/Yue formed a great relationship that would've lasted a long time with only about 2 episodes.
Sokka/Suki formed and is now canon in about 3 episodes.
