I have a secret fetish for NaruIno. I have no idea how I came to have it, and the only two kinds of pairing storys I will read are NaruSaku and NaruIno (ESPECIALLY NaruSakuIno) and I like it even if it's crack.

They are always interesting, usually erotic and downright fun, the only problem I have with them is it's not NaruSaku, so Sakura's free game and that causes a flood of SasuSaku and LeeSaku side pairings, and I just can't stand Sakura with anyone else.

NaruIno became my second favorite pairing awhile back. There's just something fun about the two hard-headed blondes butting heads before mashing face. Ahem.

I mentioned Altered History (currently up to Chapter 21) before, but this fic is made of WIN.
Summary: Meet Naruto, the number one prankster ninja...he lives in Konoha...and has a dark secret so large that NOBODY knows, not even Naruto.

Kiss and Yell by DocDestructo. Previously mentioned before, but I think this one probably caused me to cement NaruIno as my second favorite pairing.

Green Apple Elixir and Sugared Vanilla by Quillslinger. Fun fanfic, but be warned - there be some Yaoi tidbits kinda referenced. But since it didn't involve Naruto I could deal with it.

strangely enough it was NaruSakuIno stories by Gnosismaster, Daniel Goldberg and Kin-Ryu Chikara that made me REALLY like NaruIno and NaruSakuIno, especially Gnosismaster because he bashes the Emo-Duck in his fics biggrin.gif

Some of the NaruIno fanfics I've read were actually kind of good. Just depended on the author. DX XDD I don't really hate the pair.

On a side note, I find myself being rather frustrated when I check out a new fic and find out that the story is actually pretty cool, but the spelling/grammar/formatting makes it nearly impossible to read.

ESPECIALLY when its a story about one of the smaller fandoms (like NaruIno, for example, though that IS gaining popularity).

Ok, coming off the box now.

While it's most mens fantasy of having a bunch of beautiful women swarming all over them, I personally find it bland.

The only way a harem would work is if the girls accepted each other and Naruto; which I find it unlikely. The real only multi-girl pairing I could see work is a NaruSakuHina relationship.

I don't see how that works any better than a harem smile.gif .

The problem is, most of the Naruto/harem fics are poorly written.

thats true, they are normally pretty crap, the only authors i can remember off the top of my head that do it well are Vesvius B and Viperflamer. Those 2 are damn awesome authors.

my fav fics by him would be All For One and Shrouded Orange, although Three for the Fox Boy is pretty decent as well and Funeral of a Hero is one of my fav one-shots.
note that Shrouded Orange is a naruto/bleach crossover though.

and my fav fics by this guy would be Bloodline: Radiance, But hes just a ramen chef! and ButButWHAT? although that last one isnt a NaruHarem. Ive also heard Beyond His Darkness and Blue Moon Howling are very good but i havent had the time to read them.
