And most of us girls can probably relate to Sakura having a crush on Sasuke. It is true that girls fall for the hot and cool guy. And what I hate is when people say that Sakura's feelings wont or cant possibly change. Its like saying girls in real life will never change from fangirling over a hot guy to falling for a regular guy. Feelings can change.

omg thank goodness I dont do the whole debate thing cause when I was reading that I was twitching the whole way. Some of those so called "proofs" pain me. SERIOUSLY hurt me. I mean I completely understand not switching pairings just cause its probably not going to come true, cause I would do the same. But pulling excuses like naruto would feel guilty for stealing Sasuke's girl? what?! when and where did this happen?! Aethos how one earth do you survive in there?! I swear I almost burst a vein just reading those two arguments. Thats why i swaddle myself w/ pro naru/saku's and no-one else.

That's why sometimes I honestly feel that I'm reading a different series than they are. (Well, actually, I suspect that many of them don't read it at all, hence all the fillers-as-evidence.) The "Naruto supports SasuSaku" thing is being bandied about as absolute gospel now. Very creative interpretation of canon, but a long way from being accurate. Naruto doesn't support SasuSaku, he supports Sakura. Sakura wanted Sasuke. Naruto reluctantly conceded to that fact. And yet he gets painted as some sort of SasuSaku cheerleader? Yeah, that forced, resigned attempt at a smile as he watched her hug Sasuke in the hospital was a purest expression of joy at seeing his longtime crush fawn over his friend/rival! [/heavy sarcasm]

I just don't understand the complete dismissal of Naruto's feelings. The manga's named after him. He's the star (although many tend to forget this with the overwhelming focus on Sasuke). We all root for him to achieve his fondest goal: becoming Hokage. And yet when it comes to his personal goal of winning Haruno Sakura, the sentiment immediately becomes "Oh, no, we can't have him get with that psycho-b*tch! Let's stick him with the shy weirdo girl who obsesses over him, but can't speak to him and has nothing in common with him! She's cuter than Sakura anyway! [Except not.] AND she has cool powers while Sakura is just lamerzz! Like, who CARES what Naruto wants?"

The series isn't about Hinata getting what SHE wants, because Hinata isn't the main character, or anywhere close to it. She's a background character with a minimal amount of face time. The series is about Naruto overcoming his obstacles, growing stronger, and pursuing his dreams. Since when has Hinata ever figured into those dreams?

The mentality among the SasuSaku people in particular seems to be that character growth is only acceptable if it doesn't conflict with one's preferred pairing. Forget any realistic notions of adolescent internal change. Teenage girls are fickle as hell--I know I was at that age. I'm personally astounded that Sakura maintained her Sasuke fixation as long as she did. But she was always bound to grow out of it, once she finally got the memo that a. Sasuke was never going to feel the same way, and b. the Sasuke of her dreams, that understood her so well *cough*hengedNaruto*cough* really never existed in the first place.

Sakura has matured a tiny bit at a time over the course of the series. She started out hating Naruto for no good reason, pinning it on his obnoxiousness. Then she began to feel bad for him after Sasuke gave her kitten about it. Then she tolerated him. Then she started to realize there was much more to him than "insensitive class clown." Then she was willing to flunk the chuunin exam just so his dreams wouldn't be steamrollered...I could go on, but I totally don't need to.

Her feelings toward Naruto possibly taking on a more romantic bent in Part II, is simply a natural progression of what was set in motion in Part I. Love is not always indicated by blinking neon arrows, incessant fangirling, or all-consuming obsession. Sometimes it has to be cultivated for a while before it pushes its head up through the soil.

-nods head- couldn't of said it better myself. I mean really! I once saw this poll for your fav. character (not in here) And Sasuke gets like a billion votes while Naru-kun gets like half that! The INJUSTICE! Anyway Sakura isn't so bad. Okay I really hated during the first part pf the manga cuz of her fawning over her precious Sasuke and gives no credit to NAruto-kun. Then when she finally matured in part 2 I though she rocked! Yeah! I don't even know how NaruHina caught on. Because just like Sakura, Hinata had obsesssed over a guy when there waas clearly someone better for her. (AKA: Kiba in my opinion) This just proves that NAruHina was not meant to be! I think it was the fanart and fanfic that started it all. Along with SakuSasu. It just isn't fair. Sasuke has no interest for Sakura whatsoever and only sees her as a good friend and ex-teammate. (At least that's what he though of her BEFORE) And Naruto just doesn't like Hinata as much as he loves Sakura. I don't get what so hard to understand! -sigh- ANyway thankfully more NaruHina/SakuSasu fans re starting to side with us now. Anyway I still agree with my non-bashing yet supportive NAruSaku post:

NaruSaku? Why? Sakura hates him right and besides she loves Sasuke right? Naruto's love is just a crush right, and plus doesn't Hinata love him? Well that's what most people say, like my friends. But in reality if you look at the couples more closely, you would see the truth of it all.

SakuSasu= Well think about it. You'd have to really alter the feelings of Sasuke for him to spare a spark of interest for Sakura. The only good thing Sakura is good for, in Sasuke's eyes, is to restore his clan. That's it. Nothing more. Plus think about it. Sakura's supposed "love" is more of a school girl crush. Even when she said she really did love him, it really was sort of a lie. I think the true way Sakura sees Sasuke, is more of a you are a very very close friend to me and not only that, you're my teammate. I really like you. Nothing more, nothing less. It's the kind of love that two friends could share. But that's just it. They're only friends. Nothing more nothing less. There's also the whole Sasuke saying "Thank you." to Sakura when he left. But seriously what does that men really? My theory is that it meant: "Thank you for loving me even when I treated you like crap. Thank you for staying by me even when I pushed you aside. Thank you for taking care of me instead of hating me. Thank you for being my teammate. Thank you for being my friend." That's what I think he meant. Nothing more. Nothing less. Plus when Sakura supposedly was in love with him, she was only 12. Now when you're 12 (like me) you often have silly school crushes. At age 12 love is basically a game to most girls. (NOT ALL) Or like shopping. (I hate shopping) When you get a guy, you love him for a little way until you fall in love with another guy. And another. And another. You don't have an actual boyfriend until you're like 16+. Plus if you think about it Sakura was really chasing a dream right? The Sasuke she fell in "love" with was perfect. Well almost perfect. Sakura just smoothed out the flaws in her mind, until he was perfect. Nothing less. The true Sasuke, however, is a tortured soul, who's mind is corrupted. He's an avenger, a loner, and just a boy. No matter how old he is he will always be a boy. Nothing more nothing less. Sasuke doesn't care for anyone except himself. He used to be better as a kid, but after his clan died, everything fell apart. Now he's alone. Just like he always has. Sakura know this. Sakura know this well, but still she ignores it. She's blind yet not truly blind. She's deaf but not truly deaf. She tunes out whatever anyone says and just follows her "love" for Sasuke. But now...now she's stronger and now she knows better. She still loves Sasuke somewhere in her heart, but she's learning. She's learning that it isn't love. She's learning how to slowly let go. And this is a start. This is the first step to truly letting go and move on. Nothing more nothing less.

HinaNaru= Hinata...is very nice. She has a lot of... chances in love. But she never takes them. She's so in love with Naruto, that she doesn't see the others who love her. The same could go with Sakura. Except that Hinata isn't too obsessed. Anyway Hinata doesn't really have a chance with Naruto. Hinata's medical skills aren't needed because he can heal quickly with Kyubbi's chakra. Hinata is going through her more than a crush, less than love stage. The chances of it being mutual is slim. Very slim. Hinata is too shy for Naruto really. Plus Naruto doesn't show any signs of affection for her. He probably thinks of her as a friend. A good friend, but a friend nonetheless. Although some fans say "What about what happened in the chunnin exams huh?". Yeah well my response is: Naruto is just being...well Naruto. He cheered for Hinata because he just hated Neji-kun's arrogance bastardness. Plus he considered Hinata as a friend and to Naruto friends are as important and precious as all the money in the world and his dreams. Because he's never had friends before and before that all he had was his dream of being Hokage. So when Neji started to insult one of his friends, Naruto got pissed. So I could see HinaNaru as a friendship couple nothing romantic. Plus when Sasuke left, he needed someone who could comfort him or at least understand what he's going through. Sakura is able to do this because she was also close to Sasuke. Hinata can't really do anything to help Naruto. Plus she always blushes whenever he's around and if he makes any physical, she basically faints. They could never really have any romantic relationship without something going wrong. Not to mention the Hyugga clan is very strict about marriage and dating and all that stuff. I doubt that the Hyugga clan would let their heir date the so-called "Kyubbi container". Plus when it comes down to nothing, Hinata can't really do anything for Naruto. She could support him and all, but that's basically it. Because when you look at it Hinata and Naruto can only be friends in the end. Just friends.

SakuNaru: Ah the long awaited support. I can definitely rant about this. Most people are for this after the 2 and 1/2 year trip and I'm one too. But there's hints of NaruSaku even before Sasuke left. Sakura had cheered on Naruto when he fought Kiba-kun. Even when everybody thought he'd fail. Plus he had also cheered on Sakura when she fought Ino-chan. It was because of this that helped Sakura-chan tie with Ino. Now getting back to the couple in general. Sakura...Sakura is very fragile. She's like what her name says. She's like a cherry blossom. Fragile and beautiful. And like all fragile things, they need to be treated gently because if they aren't, they break. Naruto-kun had always treated her gently. Sasuke however, couldn't care less how he treated her. It was because of this that almost drove Sakura off the edge. It was because of this that caused Sakura to..break. Sasuke had pushed away Sakura since day 1. Why? Well most people think that the reason why is that he is a bastard. Actually he is quite the opposite...sorta. Like I said all fragile things needed to be treated gently, and Sasuke was treated anything but gently. You see everyone has been fragile in some part of their life. Even if it was for a little while, they are still fragile...And Sasuke was no exception He was always in the shadow of his ever-so-perfect brother. He idolized and hated him all at once. Then everyone had pressured Sasuke to be something no person is. Perfect. That was the first step in breaking him. Then when his clan was slaughtered it broke him. But that wasn't the end. He had become so obsessed with killing his brother that he left Kohana to get more powerful, while having the ever so controlling cursed seal, and he was trained by the psychotic Orochimaru. All at the young age of 12. This is what completely broke him. Still out of everyone,even Sasuke, Naruto probably had the hardest, harshest, cruelest, saddest, and most difficult life. The others had parents/relatives, and no matter how cruel some of them were, they still had parents. People who loved them, even if it was little love. Naruto didn't have that. He didn't have anything. No parents, no bloodline, no friends, and most importantly no love. Oh sure the hokage helped him, but was that really enough? Since the day he was born, Naruto had been shunned and hated. He was extremely fragile during his childhood. Everyone avoided him and abused him, for a reason that he didn't understand. He couldn't understand. But unlike Gaara, unlike everyone, he hadn't broken. He hadn't had a meltdown and went off the edge. No. He accepted things as they were and made the best of it. He did care about what the people said about him before, but after a while he realized something. As long as he was alive he could over come his fragility and become someone great. Despite what others said, he knew that he could and would be someone great. He had conquered his fragility. Sakura, however, was stilll a different story. Because she hadn't conquered her fragility, she needed someone to support her. She needed someone to hep her along the way and give her the strength she needed. Naruto was and is that person. When Sakura needs a shoulder to cry on, Naruto is always there. It was Naruto who cried out to help her in the chunin exams. He gave her some of that everlasting warmth he had for anyone and everyone to her. He promised to bring Sasuke even though it hurt him. Even though it broke his heart. He would do anything for her. Then after the 2 and 1/2 year training his love had matured even more....and so had Sakura's. Even if Naruto never said it out loud he knew somewhere deep deep down,he would never stop loving her. And just as Sakura knew she that she would never stop loving/liking Sasuke, she also knew that she's slowly moving on. Bit by bit her "love" for Sasuke was being replaced. Replaced by Naruto. The only person who ever truly loved her. That's why she has to find Sasuke. So that she could finally prove that her love was just a crush after all. To prove who she was really in love with. To prove that Sasuke would never love her. To prove that she had once and for all overcome her fragility

I bring another SasuSaku argument..

WHY SASUSAKU?
1)They're total opposites, and I believe two opposites make a right.

2)Sakura determination and love for Sasuke never dissolves, and I believe never will.....

3)Sakura's love is what Sasuke needs (with his whole family being wiped out, and being a loner for quite a long time)

4)Sasuke could've beaten Sakura to a plump when she tried to stop him from leaving. But instead he said "Thank you."

5)When Sasuke's curse seal opens up, Sakura always pops up in his mind, and her tears are his inspiration or lift to hold the curse seal back and get back to normal.

6) Sakura already claimed and confessed how much she loved him by saying "I love you more than anything! I would do anything for you!" And not in the crushing way, the more sad and emotional way.

7)Sasuke said that one of his goals was to revive his clan, can't revive it with no Uchiha babies, can you? *coughSakuracough*

8)In the manga, whenever Sakura said anything or smilies at Naruto a certain way, Sasuke has the "jealous" expression/face.

9)Already quoted from anime and manga, Sasuke admits that he would not let anything get to and will not lose his important friends. And he was risking his life to protect them (but then Naruto jumped in)

10)Sasuke was on the brink to choosing his friends over revenge, I think he was shown the light to how important they've become to him

-sigh- Since when has Sakura popped in his head? Seriously! And the whole "her tears are his inspiration" stuff. Well right quote, wrong person. The inspiration thing is more to NAruto actually. Plus Sauke's mind does NOT revolve around Sakura 24/7 when the curse is activated! He thinks about how when he activates that seal he'll get more obsessed with power, so he TRIES not to use it. He doesn't think: Oh what about Sakura-chan?! She'll cry and get sad! Must not activate seal." Yeah if that happened you can clearly see all of the boys of the NAruto cast skippping in a field of flowers wearing DRESSES! The only one who thinks similar things is Naruto and when he has to use Kyubbi. Well at least during the 2nd part.

Oh for Pete's sake! Will whoever who wrote this GIVE IT UP! -sigh- (2nd quote) Sakura's determination for Sasuke is right, but love is wrong. THe Sasuke, Sakura loved was nothing more than a figment of her imagination. The Sasuke she loved was, perfect. Just perfect. And that's not what he was. Sakura sees Sasuke (now in the 2nd part) for who he really is. A traitor. Still her so-called-"love", well it's love for a beloved ex-teammate and friend. But that's all. She doesn't really love him deep down. All she sees him is as a best friend. And Sasuke sees her as even less! He sees her as nothing more than an ex-teammate who's bonds he destroyed.

1. Um, firstly, if they're going to throw in old cliche sayings, they could at least use the right ones - two wrongs make a right (which if that means they were refering to SasuSaku as wrongs, then I won't argue ) Seriously, though, as I'm sure many have said, the whole "opposites attract" excuse doesn't really fly when you use the entire saying - "opposites attract but they don't wear well"

I don't really see: 1) a problem with this statement, nor 2) how exactly this proves SasuSaku...Sakura and Naruto are both equally determined to save Sasuke, and Sakura obviously loves/cares about both her teammates as well. But in terms of any romantic love towards Sasuke, I haven't seen that in part 2 yet. Heck, there was the perfect opportunity to say/do something to reaffirm her "love" several chapters ago...but nothing happened.

3. Again, as NaruSaku fan said, this could easily apply to Naruto as well, perhaps even more so. And why does he need Sakura's romantic feelings? She already threw every ounce of emotion and "love" at him at the infamous "Thank you" scene, and that obviously hasn't fixed anything. And this isn't even an argument so much as an opinionated statement from a SasuSaku fan(girl)...

4. I don't even know how to argue that...seriously, 1) they're in Konoha - pummeling Sakura would likely alert someone that he was leaving; 2) she's his freaking teammate...an important friend as he's said...not thrashing Sakura only proves that he isn't a completely evil bastard (yet), not that he secretly harbors romantic feelings for her...

5. He had no problems using it at the VoTE fight...nor against the Sound Four in Konoha...and the scene in the Chuunin prelims involved him thinking of Naruto as well, thinking about having them worry about me. Fighting Gaara, he thought of Kakashi's warning about relying on the Cursed Seal would mean he could never defeat Itachi - Sakura never came up. The only time Sakura could have been the sole thing on his mind would have been in the Forest of Death, when she was, you know, hugging and crying on him...

6. Or in the desperate, I've got to stop you from leaving us kind of way...regardless, that was a really nice, emotional scene. Unfortunately, Sasuke rejected her and her feelings in favor of power...and if the most prominent and powerful SasuSaku scene occured 130 chapters ago, that doesn't bode well for the future right?

7. As dozens have already said, Sasuke hasn't brought up that goal since way back in the very beginning - even now, he's said his priority is Itachi, not caring even if he has to let Orochimaru take over his body (does that sound like someone who's concerned about reviving his clan?).

8. ...really? Where? And how exactly does his "jealous" expression look? No, seriously. The only scene that comes to mind would be when Sasuke tells Sakura that Naruto saved her from Gaara...and his expression was more anger than jealousy, as the following scene of him berating himself for being weak shows.

9. This is SasuSaku how?

10. Again, how is this SasuSaku...both "arguments" show only that he cares about his teammates (or cared, I guess, depending how you view the new and "improved" Sasuke).

11. *cough* With Naruto...together with Naruto she wants to bring him back. And Part 2 has made it seem like Naruto wants to get him back more than she does. And she also grew stronger to "save them both" and "no longer watch their backs" - she wants to save Sasuke and Naruto and finally contribute something to the team. Lumping her entire efforts to improve herself solely as a means to bring Sasuke back kind of demeans her character a bit.

I am back from camp, a whole week without internet. Oh the agony.

While away at camp i realized something. SOmeone said that hinata's goal was to win naruto's heart. I thought about this and then i realized............BS! Why? Simple, Hinata's goal is not to win naruto's heart but to be accepted by all the hyuugas! Do you know what this means? Naruhina is 110% dead! Hinata isnt to interested in winning naruto's heart. Finally the naruhina ship is sunk.

And now for sasusaku.
Status = Dead.

Sakura's losing interest, and sasuke will sacrifice his body, mind, and soul to get power.
Alot of sasusaku fans say that sakura will be the one to save sasuke by the power of love.
1) This is not a shojo, nor is romance a hugely important part.
2) What about naruto? He's starting to drown in the darkness that is kyuubi.

If Sakura's Tsunade, then Naruto is her Nawaki, Dan, and Jiraiya all rolled up in one. Of course, the two generations are so different, we can't make direct comparisons anyway--Sasuke parallels Orochimaru, but is hardly his carbon copy, and there's nothing to make us believe Tsunade ever fangirled the hell out of Oro...

Here's a kick in the face rumor..

I just got tipped off that in a raw chapter in Japan that Naruto and Hinata kiss. Two people told me on youtube..but both are NaruHina fans so i doubt its a lie. Later on I asked if they hooked up..the guy's reply was "duhhh".

Really at this point I'm hoping for anything NaruHina. I got a descrption off the guy that "it was so cute".
Seeing as it is a manga of action and comedy. Kishimoto most likely will set up the situation in one chapter and hook them up at the end of the next one. Putting that into effect I want to be happy and go crazy thinking they'll end up together very soon.

However, as much as i don't like to admit it, there's a chance he could be lying. In the end, I don't want to be put into a depression after I got my hopes up.

Right now I'm asking him for more details such as chapter number and stuff. I'll be sure to reply all your "WHAATT?!"'s later.

Well atleast he admits that it might be bull.........but still.

Thats why you should never believe all the future naruhina stuff.....cause realistically, it would make no sense if there was suddenly a kiss scene between naruhina, hell even if it was narusaku, it still would be out of place.

So true...I think that if Naru-kun does kiss Sakura-chan, it will be later on in the 330 ish chapters, either that or Sakura-chan might admit her love for him( To herself or to Naruto-kun). And seriously the NaruHina ship died a long time ago. Somewhere a bit after ch.297 or below.

In all seriousness though, how can anyone believe something when they here a supposed leak for the storyline? In all honesty, if someone says that Naruto and Hinata kiss, that Naruto and Sakura hook up (I like this one, though), or that Kisame and Anko are really second cousins (well this one's obvious), an alarm should go off in your head. I just wonder how that person overlooked logic -shakes head-
