I mean, they're clinging onto that part of the manga. They only focus on Hinata. They don't even regard the rest of the characters and the story, and they don't even think about Naruto's feelings do they?

If Naruto didn't end up with Sakura, he would be crushed. That guy has fought so hard for her, and she is his precious person.

Not Hinata.

Sure, he would also fight to protect Hinata - protecting others is part of his Nindo. But Sakura is his precious person and he loves her so much he is willing to give up his happiness to see that she is happy.

Because he knows that he and Sakura are the same deep inside. He can feel the same pain as her. That is one reason why he is so willing to do anything so that she does not have to bear it.

Lee has a crush, Hinata has a crush, Sakura has/had(? - depends how she takes Sasuke's defection) a crush, but Naruto loves Sakura a LOT. And she is also showing feelings for him, even though she does not consciously realise it (yet).

Going NaruHina and Lee/SasuSaku would be a huge 180 twist to the story and would really jar with me. I mean, if NaruSaku happened then that would be a very happy development because they are so right for each other.

Hell, if it didn't have a chance of happening, then why would Kishimoto design Naruto and Sakura to be the same deep inside and have strengths that compliment each other? Why would he show them having feelings for each other and actually build upon them? There is little to no buildup for NaruHina and SasuSaku.

If NaruSaku never happened, then Kishimoto would have wasted a lot of paper and ink on all of those pages of hints.

You can just imagine N***H*** fans crouched in the corner of their bleak bedrooms (Covered with Hinata pictures, I might add), with their fingers in their ears and their eyes closed, while on the screen is the manga panel of Naruto and Sakura kissing...

I'd pay to see that.

I mean, I like to treat others with respect, but I just cannot stand how the hardcore NaruHinas/SasuSakus just REFUSE to pay attention to the whole of the story.

It's blinkered, narrow-minded people like them that really annoy me both on the internet and in real life.

So it would be priceless to see their reaction on Naruto and Sakura hugging or even kissing. If Naruto and Sakura kissed, I would mark the day of the scene's release as NaruSaku Day and we would see it as our official birthday that we celebrate every year!

Exactly! I've said it before, but Kishimoto wouldn't put those feelings in just for fun. Everything he does is carefully and deliberately planned out. You can't just say that those moments don't count or exist, because they are meant to play out like that! If Naruto's feelings were superficial or in there for fun, they would have died by now. They still exist because Sakura was designed to be Naruto's love interest! I doubt that's going to change.

NaruHina fans simply don't appreciate how deeply Naruto's feelings run. If he wasn't too bothered about Sakura, then why would he look so hurt when she hugged Sasuke and when she pleaded him to bring Sasuke back for her?

And you saw that in the Naruto vs Sasuke fight, he thought of Sakura. He thought of how he had cheered her up and her smiling face, and felt enraged at how Sasuke could disregard her.

NaruHina fans also keep talking about how Hinata could be better when she's with Naruto. But I don't believe that she would gain self-belief from being in a relationship with him - she would most likely become too dependent on him.

And we all know that SasuSaku fans are Sasuke fans who don't take into consideration how Sakura isn't herself when she's around him. It's like they would be happy for her to be like that all her life as long as she was with their beloved angster.

So far, none of the NaruHinas and SasuSakus have responded to Alpha's challenge.

There was one guy who agreed saying that NaruSaku has quite a few predictions going for it, but NaruHina doesn't really have anything solid - and he said he liked NaruHina!

LOL!!! I'm sure people like them because they "look" asthetically pleasing. Sometimes you just like a pairing just because, not for any particular reason. I think those people I dont have a problem with, they just like N***H*** because and respect NaruSaku (may not have to like it like we do, but respect it), not because they think its THE CANON Pairing, or because of whatever bogus reasons that we've all had to come up against. They like it cuz they think its cute, no correlation to the anime or manga. Now that i can respect and understand.

Yeah, I agree. It's all cool if it's a pairing they think is cute - I just can't bear it when some say it's CANON and WILL happen. I do quite enjoy chatting with people who aren't NaruSaku fans but won't go out of their way to bash it.

Different viewpoints are all cool as long as no-one tries to twist them!

It's like NaruTenten, KakashiAnko, IrukaShizune, LeeSaku, SasuHina etc. None of them are put forward as canon, they're just marketed as interesting pairings. I will read those pairings!

I just can't read NaruHina/SasuSaku fics/art because I've seen too many bad ones. Plus SasuSaku sends a horrible shiver down my spine.
