Yeah pretty much. I think Hinata's "role", if you can even call it that, in this series is over because now they know she's not the money maker they thought she was.

 

I think their plan is not only try to acquire a new audience to replace part of the old one that they alienated and pissed off, but also attempt to appease the old audience and get them to come back.

 

We'll see if it works, but I think the only way that they'll succeed is if part 3 is a masterpiece and that is something I very much doubt.

We got 5 years to see what Kishi was like without a really talented editor keeping him in line. What we got was pure 250 chapter garbage destroying (or rather, EVISCRERATING) everything that made the prior 450 chapters great. This new character, Boruto, is pretty much a clone of the original, but with even less compelling character traits (for some reason, his dad, a guy who has the ability to be in a 1000 different places at once for an entire month straight, can't spend time with him ) and pretty much all of the rookie 9's children are clones of their parents, with some design differences here and there.

 

You heard it here first. This series will last about 100 chapters AT BEST before Kishi is forced to give another shoehorned ending . This time, not because he wants to finish the series in time to coincide with the release of a crappy movie, but because the sales will be that bad.

 

I've already heard multiple (sad and pathetic) attempts to win back the old audience. Some in the form of new NaruSaku moments in the new filler arc that nobody cares about. It's too late, Moneymoto. Way too late.

Sorry for my ignorance but i haven't been here in awhile so can anyone please enlighten me..

I've been reading around that they seem to be trying to appease to the old audience and us, lol survivors of the pathetic ending .. how can you guys say so?

Because to me, they don't seem to be trying to get us back. From what i can see they truly believe that their work is a masterpiece.

So can anyone pls explain to me the idea that they are trying to attract neutral audience back??

Like what part of these kitten i mean novels, movies, etc makes some of us here think it was meant to pull back the fans they lose after the ending?

I would actually consider reading this if Sakura, Hinata, Naruto, and the rest of the old crew were completely absent from the narrative. Like it this was in some way a complete reset. But as that won't happen, I'll stay away from it like its the plague.

I do believe it's a trap. So don't count on it. But it is weird because this is the old Team 7 days, before exam. However, Naruto questioned on his face since after Tsunade Arc. Then in part 2, he still questions on his face. So...is this a trap or an F-U to fans to not receive in manga or even in the movie?

Either way, it's cash grab.
