Dont get me wrong, I like Kakashi, but treat him like a living legend and not Sakura is just unbelievable.

Not to be offensive but since Sakura has been reduced back to Sasuke's fangirl and baby maker what did you expect? Especially with how she was handled in that F***ING S*** movie. Best just to not care cause why be surprised at an idiot being an idiot?

Kakashi, Naruto and Sasuke are the three heroes? Not Sakura?? They're being hailed as 'living legends' but not Sakura? What happened to the neo-Sannin? Did all Tsunade's Sage powers just transfer to Kakashi when he became Hokage?

 

God, I hate this so much.

 

It's really sickening the way Sakura's just gradually being erased from the story at every turn. She may as well not exist anymore aside from doing her part to raise the next generation of Uchiha, and keeping house while her 'husband' just goes off to do his thing. And now she doesn't even get any credit for all her efforts in the war. Makes me want to punch something.

Well Shikamaru's novel is out, and in it they basically erased Sakura from existence. They act like Sakura's actions either never mattered or never existed. Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi are viewed as legends. It's just a kittening mess.

Same here. It's 100% BS because without Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke would both be dead and then the entire world would be doomed. They couldn't make it anymore more obvious that they hate Sakura and want to make her sad and pathetic and take everything away from her. It's a complete joke.

I agree. Whatever is left of this fandom now, we are going to have to create ourselves. Sakura does not matter to this story. That's what Kishimoto decided. The Naruto we all cared about, doesn't matter to this story. The themes and ideas many of us liked (the defense of free will against deterministic ideals specifically) do not matter in this story anymore.

 

So what is the "NS fandom" today? To put it simply we are the old Naruto fans, who enjoyed the themes of the early story. The Last (so properly titled since it was the last straw for most people) is nothing less then the bronzing of a new fandom, who's ideals, themes, and characterizations are frankly the exact opposite of the old Naruto fans.

 

So bottom line, there is nothing for us in the proper "canon" world anymore. We should not support it financially, nor should we respect it at all. Today whatever is left of this fandom is going to exist in fan made materiel far away from the hands and thoughts of the broken man Kishimoto.

 

My only fear now honestly, is the Kishimoto eventually reaches out to us. That he may even make an "alternate universe" where NS happens could be the worst thing for us, because I know a lot of us will go back and enrich this jackass again if it happens. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS JACKASS EVER AGAIN. That should be the subtitle of this forum as far as I'm concerned. lol

I don't know whether to consider Sasuke a victim of twisted personality alteration or an active progenitor of the destruction of Sakura's character. On one hand, Sasuke has never displayed any kind of overt attraction for Sakura (the most you could dispute is that he a carried a mild consideration for her that leaked out when he was most exposed to Naruto's influence such as his complimenting her progress in the early Chunin Exams era or the visible irritation on his face when Sakura offered a tender smile to Naruto after being informed that it was Naruto who saved her from Gaara), but on the other, she's like the perfect little incubator for his spawn that won't ask or challenge his intentions regarding the future of his clan. Moreover he's most familiar with her compared to the numerous fangirls whom he's never even talked to.

 

Does he simply not care for all of the sacrifice and effort that was offered on Naruto's part to earn Sakura's attractions?

I still don't like what they're going to do to Sakura in her novel. They're gonna make her progress back to her 12 year old self, and make her look terrible compared to Princess Hinata needs to look better in front of her Naruto-kun.
