Hey for the Part 3 Project how would like this approach:

The story will be of Shinachiku Uzumaki, Sasuke uchiha's son and their female best friend/team member and the adventures they go on together in their generation.

It's basically a re-telling of Naruto's story but instead it follows his son this time. But instead of the old Team 7 dynamic from the original series, I want to express shinachiku's and his teams bond much like the friendship/bond from the kingdom hearts trio -Sora, Riku and Kairi. Best friends since they were little and show less complications in their bond as their predecessors Team 7.

Shinachiku - a carefree spirit that follows wherever the wind takes him. But in battle he's calm and serious and responds with battle tactics much better then his father at his age.

Sasuke's son (I'm thinking of calling him Kai) - serious but tends to look at the better aspects of life much more then his teammates. Also can be a Smartass when an opportunity presents itself, especially with Shinachiku. A strategist on the field at the heat of the moment, with no sign of hesitation when he gives directions to his teammates, a leadership quality.

The female teammate (naming her Keiko) - The gentleness that gives the team relief and since of serenity when things go bad. A voice of reason whenever the boys argue with each other and won't hold back on speaking her mind when someone gets smart with her, to which the boys admit defeat 100% of the time. An analyst to her surroundings to figure out complicated issues before, during and after a battle.

I want to express that a form of peace has been formed in that their world since the 4th ninja world and Naruto's assension to Hokage, but their are still places where darkness and hatred still spreads throughout the world. Negative things that eventually Shinachiku and his generation will have to fight against. But the previous generation will be with them every step of the way!!!

So what do you think?? Would you guys enjoy reading a Part 3 like this...

While it's ok idea to have several people create their own version of ending. I disagree that the version which gets voted the most should be made official. Reasons are. We need to take everything into consideration. That means as much as we hate/dislike/wish to change some plots/characters, we still need them to be IC, until 698 that is. And imo no offense, but I don't think one person can do this. Since no matter how we try at least some things will slip from our mind. That's why having several people working on one panel/page is better imo.

If we are doing this in manga format. I thought when this idea was brought up. We will all go panel by panel/page by page. Deciding on the dialogue, art background, characters movements (limbs positions etc), characters face expressions!

And once we decide on all this things (dialogues, backgrounds, characters movements/face expressions). Several people who are very well versed in language will create a script based on this. A script that will be then given to the artists (those who draw and those who are good at Photoshop) who will then create the pages (chapters). Which we will be later publish as web comic!

I also think for this to be a great success, we'll need to reach the JP fandom as well. I had an idea that we simultaneously publish chapters on both English and Japanese languages.

I think you make a number of good points.  To be honest, what you are suggesting is how I had originally envisioned this project to proceed upon first checking it out, and I still like the idea of doing things in such a way.

Actually yeah I have been thinking about that for awhile now. I admit I would be thrilled if we could make this a web comic, but it takes an considerable amount of time to create one full page of panels. Good example of which is Snafu comics.com, they have amazing online comics but each page within each comic takes a lot of time to be created and then loaded onto the site. Though the comic is much liked it loses it's likability at the same time due to the long time each reader waits for the next page to load.

What we want is to make a series that becomes popular, stays popular and continues to be popular within each chapter given. That's why I suggest in order to reduce the time for each chapter released every once a week, much like a manga chapter, is that we take the safe route and write the story mainly in FanFiction form.

Now of course I know that won't bring much popularity either but I thought of a solution for that problem. We'll do this manga production style but keep it mostly in literature form.

-Every 10 chapters we write, we will commission an artist to create a cover art and make it into a online volume.

-within each volume artists will create a few manga panels to illustrate certain moments or actions within that volume. That way the reader will better understand the characters the way they are drawn and continue reading on the volume in fanfiction form.

We have until spring till Part 3 Bolt generation comes out so it's better to take the production of our series carefully and right without jumping it into something grand. If our series does end up becoming a success after awhile then I would very like it if we can make certain chapters into actual web comic/manga panels but right now we must take baby steps when concerning its production, no matter how cool we want it to be. We must plant our feet to the ground as solid as we can before Part 3 Bolt Generation comes along that way we will stand a chance against it. I'm not gonna be cocky with these guys because they know what they are doing. So I want to stand face to face with them and slowly chip away at them bit by bit!!!

As far as the writing of the story is concerned I'm sorry but it's better if one writer does handle the story. No matter how much disgust we have with the man Kishi handled and created Naruto's story on his own. Though with the help with his editors he was able to keep it up as long as he did because of the extra content they added to go along with the main story, to keep it fleshed out. That's what I'm hoping for us to do as well!!! One writer produces the main story and battle themes, and the rest will add onto it with comedy, romance, drama and action to make the story long and straight.

The main reason I'm saying this is because...... And you can believe me or not, I've already planned, developed and carefully thought out a complete Part 3 story line. With a few main characters, many side characters and a few villains, possibly 10 arcs all together, 20 different fights with every fighting style chosen for each character planned and ready, and if I had to guess so far.......over 100 chapters if done correctly ready to be written. I've had the whole past month to think of many details as I can to make for a part 3 story and even now I'm still drawing out plans within my head with no stopping!!!

It very much sounds like I want to be the one to write this story and everyone becomes my support in making it better and I apologize for that. So that's why I want one OFFICIAL ENDING from one writer from the contest to be used as the catylist for the Part 3 Project. I want to prove to everybody that I can handle it with the story I create from my Ending and not just stubbornly take the spot and privilege unfairly from everyone else. Everyone has their own story they want to express and if somebody other then me is choose I will drop everything and do my best into the development of their story. No harm no foul because that's how serious I am into proving SP and Kishi how wrong they are and drive them into a corner!!!

I apologize if I sound like an arrogant jerk who doesn't sound like a team player to you yet but I swear whether my story is chosen among everybody or not I WILL help out in taking down those sons of kittenes!!! That's all I can give to you now so judge me however you like, I won't hold it against you.

Everybody is still discussing in how we should go about this X). It's better to come with a sharp bladed sword in a fight rather then a dull and broken one right? Lol

I'd like to offer my contribution.

When you talk about Naruto part 3( do you talk about a time skip like what kishi intend to do or a part 3 not so long about the war? )

 

If it is the latter, my idea for a part 3 would be a jonin exam arc. Where Kakashi train Naruto and Sakura respectively and it focus on develop Naruto skill in leadership. For the jonin exam, Naruto cannot use kurama chakra, because it will be too easy otherwise.

 

If anyone made a story, it should address in my opinion those points: 

-Funeral

- Sasuke's trial

- taka orochimaru and Kabuto's future

- SS, NH and NS resolution

- The aftermath of the war.

- How kakashi become hokage (though it could be handle quite easily, the part 3 would be more focus as him being hokage)

- Relationship between the village, how it is handle, the war is over, so now the common enemy is gone.

- Tailed beast where about

- MOST IMPORTANTLY Naruto view of peace and him attaining the Hokage title significant, it was the main objective, that what disappointed me the most in the ending. Naruto just pop out hokage in the future and there is no triumph, no celebration, no nothing.

 

I've already made a fic about the ending (yes I finally complete it https://www.fanficti...Should-have-end).

I DON'T BELIEVE IT SHOULD BE CONSIDER THE MAIN ENDING FOR AN ENTIRE FANDOM, but it got element that I believe could help and be interesting to adapt. If people want to use idea from it, feel free or just PM me. It's quite long but if you find the point I've made valid, I've treat all of them in it, some better than other, it was my first long story in English that I ever wrote. I've made an epilogue with Naruto's family, to not show him as a bad father, but that not really necessary to have a future time-skip that goes that far. And it lack that Jonin exam arc or anything to develop Naruto as a leader, I've mention how to make him and Sakura growth  but I didn't develop on it.

I had been thinking on this scene idea about last night, guys, when I was starting to turn into bed. A better version of the scene when Sakura and Kakashi catch up to Naruto and Sasuke at the Final Valley after their throwdown.

 

*En route to the final valley*

 

Kakashi: Sakura. The question I have to ask you is... what will you do when we get there?

 

Sakura: ...I don't know, Kakashi-sensei. I am so torn right now... I hate seeing Sasuke as he is...

 

Kakashi: Then perhaps I can give you some advice I should have followed years ago; listen to your heart and find what it is you truly want. I myself kept beating myself up over my mistakes. I don't want you to make the same mistake I did.

 

*Sakura blinks, but then closes her eyes,thinking back to 4 years ago, when Team Kakashi had been formed*

 

Sakura: Naruto... you're annoying!!

 

*Later on, that same day, after Sakura callously spoke of Naruto lacking parents to Sasuke*

 

Sasuke: Alone... isolated... it's not about your parents scolding you. You have no IDEA what it means to be alone. 

 

Sakura: Wh--- why're you saying that?

 

Sasuke: Because... you're annoying.

 

*Images of how Sasuke had always hurt her, never once truly believing in her come into Sakura's mind, causing her eyes to water up as she and Kakashi move on to the Final Valley. But... a smile soon comes across her face, as she sees Naruto and his smiling face, and how he always supported her, even when she yelled at him and just hated him like everyone else. Particularly remembering the Chunin Exams*

 

Naruto: NOOOO!!! SAKURA, DON'T!!! YOU WORKED SO HARD TO GET HERE, SAKURA!!! DON'T DISGRACE YOURSELF BY LOSING TO THAT LAME INO GIRL!!!!

 

*As well as how he was willing to keep his promise to her to get Sasuke back, even if it hurt him due to his own feelings for her. More and more images of Naruto pass through her mind, how he had supported her, even when she called for Sasuke, but HE came.*

 

Sai: I don't know what promise he made to you... but even I've been able to see... that Naruto's in love with you!!

 

Past Sakura regarding Naruto: ...He knows about my feelings and he purposely gets in the way! It's almost like he enjoys interfering and making me feel bad. Despite what he says, he doesn't know a single thing about me. He's just annoying!

*Blinking, Sasuke closes his eyes and smiles, thinking* Sasuke, thoughts: Sakura... you really have grown up. 

 

*Sakura then focuses her chakra into the Healing Jutsu, moving her hands over the boys' arms to begin to close off their wounds and stop the bleeding. Naruto smiles, but then blinks at this*

Naruto: Sakura... why didn't you accept Sasuke's apology? I thought...

Sakura: People change, Naruto. *smiles at him* There is another reason why...

 

*Soon, Naruto and Sasuke's wounds are closed, the bleeding stopping, as Naruto sits up then smiles* Naruto: Thanks, Sakur--- *gets interrupted and hugs Naruto*

Naruto: Kinda hard... I only got one arm.

Sakura: It's all you need, you dummy. *feels Naruto place his arm around her and actually hug her, as Sasuke smiles at them and so does Kakashi* Naruto.. what I said in the Land of Iron... I meant it when I said I love you. It took me some time to realize.

Naruto: N-no way! You're--- *gets bonked on the head lightly by Sakura*

Sakura: Sai told me you love me, you dummy. So don't give me that crap about me lying!

 

Naruto: HE DID WHAT?!!

Sakura: He was worried about you when you went to try to convince the Raikage to spare Sasuke's life. *pulls back from the hug, then cups Naruto's cheeks* He made me realize that even if I caused you pain by asking you to save Sasuke for me, you still did it because you love me. So how about you just stop lying to yourself? Since like you, I hate people who lie to themselves... especially when it's someone who means a lot to me.

 

Naruto: I... I can't!!

 

*Sasuke scoffs* Sasuke: Can't or won't, loser? It sounds to me like you just won't do it. And here I thought you were this great big hero.

I got a new idea for a revision version of The Last; the idea being instead of Toneri, I would want to use someone who's awakened the Rinnegan and wishes to destroy humanity, seeing them unfit to survive after what they didm, and thinking he is the reincarnation of the Sage of six Paths.

Been a while since posting here. So, where are we standing on this project at the moment? I must confess, I much prefer the idea of people gathering together collectively and plotting out an ending, and then producing manga pages to post online. I fear that writing this in fanfiction format may not have as big an impact and could result in our efforts being dismissed.

Sorry I haven't had much time either to post anything on here due to Christmas, working, New Year's Eve and day planning and etc. T_T lol

The main reason why I think it would be best to do it mainly in fanfiction format and not entirely all of it in digital comic/manga form is because of the differences of time consuming each bring to the table.

-digital comic/manga format is great in looks, appeal and detail but each page takes a considerable amount of time to create due to the artists skill and personal schedule. At best if we were to make one chapter (let's say a limit of 15 pages) it would be done in 2 months at best. We are trying to compete against Kishi's/SP version of part 3 with our own. That means we have to be already 3 steps ahead of them before they debut that way we can stand a chance against their superior experience in this type of work, and doing it with digital comic/manga format ain't gonna cut it.

-fanfiction format is just simply rough drafting the basic storyline of the current chapter, re-editing it with extra details to make it flow more into the overall storyline and then finishing it up with a final draft of the chapter. That won't take but 1-3 days at best with a writers personal schedule interfering with the work. If we were to do it this way and start working on it in late January then by the time Kishi/SP part 3 debuts we would already have maybe over 30 chapters complete (3 volumes at best).

It's basically taking a strategy from shikamarus handbook. We will be matching Kishi/SP's superior quality with superior quantity of chapters already published before they do.

Though I can understand your concern about it not attracting much if we do it just in Fanfiction format. So previously I stated in order to solve that problem I suggested we still do digital comic/manga format but only one page within each certain amount of fanfiction format chapters portraying key moments within that particular part of the story. Basically we write 10 fanfiction format chapters for a total one Volume worth of chapters. Within that volume there will be at best 5 digital manga/comic pages included in to portray certain moments of the volume. This way the readers will be attracted with the digital art and continue reading on in fanfiction format to reach to the next digital art.

But if you are still not convinced I came up with another suggestion to add with what I just stated.
With each volume we publish online we will add a small digital databook to go along with it. Within the databook it will illustrate the characters within that volume. Their current stats, techniques and backgrounds. Also sketches of what the characters look like so the readers will have an idea in their head of what's goin more clearly in the story. Also the databook will include other aspects such as sketches of ninja equipment and the area or terrain that they are currently at within the volume.

It would be best to place the databook at the end of each volume that way once the reader is done reading the volume and are confused on some parts within the story they can go to the databook and look up what they didn't understand and read back to connect the dots. This way they will be more engrossed with the story without even realizing it and soon come start to love it like an actual published series.
