Well to be fair, everyone in team 7 worries about Sasuke. If in your opinion, it degrades Sakura's character, then it should also degrade Naruto's and Kakashi's. There is no reason to single her out when the rest of the team does it too.

Sakura STILL loves Sasuke.

It doesn't matter if the text was translated to the past term, if Sasuke changed his ways right now, she still would be with him. But that's not the case and I don't believe it'll ever be. They were talking about desperated feelings, why talking about them in the past would erase their existence in the present? This doesn't make sense. Have any of you had been in love? Saying "I loved you" doesn't mean you don't love anymore. Unless you state with words or actions the "not anymore", wich wasn't the case... She still loves him. This is a thing of her character. A Sakura without having feelings for Sasuke isn't Sakura. I just wonder how Kishimoto will work to take her out of this. Cuz it'll be pathetic and humiliating to keep going on... Specially after this genjutsu. Well, love is different from passion and I'm sure that Kishimoto knows about it...

 

Anyway... I'm kinda heartbroken for Naruto.

I mean, he was the only one who had his feelings completely ignored. He felt her pain, he cared for her, but... Does he loves Sakura anymore? We had all this unnecessary drama right now about Sakura and Sasuke, Kakashi acted as somekinda attorney to her love, why don't include someone's vision about Naruto, too? I know, because the romance isn't the point in this story. But, agh! SS have more heavy relevance than any other pairing. Why I'm not allowed to see some feeling drama between Naruto and Sakura? And I'm really starting to ponder if his feelings for her haven't changed to something more brotherly. If their relationship isn't really just brotherly! Why isn't anyone questioning it?? Anyway, or Kishimoto is storing something really big to the end or he just is writing the story RIGHT.

 

Because if he plans something for Naruto and Sakura, that's not the way you write a love story, goddammit! 

I really don't approve NS anymore. Sakura have to find someone else. And Naruto deserve to be loved by someone who truly deserves him. I'm sorry, guys... But I don't see joy in this ship anymore.

I'm really happy Kishimoto put the final nail in SS"s coffin. I don't care what the SS fandom says the pairing can't get anymore dead than it already is. Good thing Kishimoto doesn't have to do the same thing with NH because we already know who Naruto loves and 457 speaks for itself. I know very well Hinata will never approach Naruto she can keep dreaming in the IT for all I care.

NS as a viable pairing reduces with each chapter Sakura humiliates herself infront of Sasuke. Frustrating but thats how Kishi rolls.

because she was still at the moment fangirling the kitten out of him despite everything hes done and all the pain that it caused naruto. you forget the comments like "it'll be like the team 7 days" - or whatever im not going back to look but it was something along those lines.

What's with all the Sakura bashing? Have you forgotten that Naruto and Kakashi both ALSO want Team 7 to be reunited? Does the whole point of the manga, to overcome hatred with understanding and compassion are already forgotten?

Have you skipped the chapters where Sakura screamed at Sasuke for hurting Naruto? Did you not see the entire Sai arc, dedicated to brotherly love and emphasis that Naruto's will is to save Sasuke? Have you completely overlooked the fact that Naruto isn't throwing hissy fits over his hurt feelings? No?

Sakura begging Sasuke to return to the good side = fangirling? =_=

OK I read some post here and there. About the I still loved you,

 

My 1st language ain't English ok, it's French.  In French that translate in je t'ai aimé.  Context make this either a declaration to reaffirm love or either the word before a break-up. She certainly doesn't change her feeling when you read 2 page after (if I had a little place in your heart, since when)

 

So can somebody clarify if it had a meaning in English that I don't understand.

The bashing comes from the fact that Sakura looked pathetic in this chapter, after all the murder attempts and insults is still begging Sasuke "not to leave her".

 

I've never really hated Sakura's character, but this chapter is pretty much the final straw for me.

Of course. It's alright to be frustrated. Kishi hasn't handled Sakura very good after the Sasori fight. I just hate that Kishi does not like to show Naruto's thoughts on all this when it comes to Sakura. He has been ship teasing for too long that it becomes annoying and just causes many to question where is this actually going. All I have is my faith that NaruSaku will be canon and I will continue to believe that it is going to come true.

As far as pairings and Sakura's character in this chapter, I've brought up in the beginning of my review to clear things up for some of you guys.

Except she was begging him to stay with TEAM 7, not her. It was the pacific it's way out of an inevitable bloody battle between Naruto and Sasuke.

Hell, she did cry for Sasuke (for no reason)

1. When Naruto and Sasuke fought at the summit didn't Sakura say that she'll stay out of it and leave it to them? Or nah? This is a fight only between Naruto and Sasuke. Sakura can't be there. If you expected that then sit down..
2. It really isn't. The only three pairings with a chance are Narusaku, Sasusaku and Naruhina. Sasusaku is dead and Naruhina can't even be considered a threat because Naruto hasn't shown any feelings towards her. Loved = present tense. Back in the day. When she used to. Somebody that she used to know. Right? Obviously she's going to care about the guy that she LOVED. He's not just a guy she loved, but he's also a member of team 7.

I honestly can't believe what I'm reading here. She still loves him? LOL. Did some of you skip over the fact that it's loved? Loved isn't the same as love. If she's still in love with him she would have professed her LOVE for him. The fact that she's talking about the past tense is enough...

Allow me to retort.

1. I know (more hope) that she will have a part to play, even if it's in the end of the fight. I was hoping too high I guess since Naruto isn't in chakra mode (so maybe Sakura could buy him sometime since Kakashi is in no shape whasoever)

2. If you read my post you should know that I don't believe that NH or SS had a chance to happen logically. My problem is that I don't believe that logic is an issue here. SS never existed to me to begin with. Logically, no girl should have feeling again for Sasuke after he tried to kill her 3 time. Even Sasuke wonder why she's in love with him.  About that past tense, not necessarily, Unless I still loved you has a sense in English that I don't get.

 

Example: I still loved you when you murder all those people.

You can go either way. A. I'M still now, everything will be just like old time Mr.J(yeah Harley's talking)

B. But enough is enough, I can't love a criminal like you

It all depend of the context and since afterward she ask about her place in his heart?
