Changed my sig,

 

This was originally going to be it 

 

 

 

 

I tried so far to resist for shipping harder core, but these two made in virtually impossible for the better. The hope that was ripped out of me has come back thanks to these two, the sig you're about to see is my back up, but it's what sold me on the TouKen ship.  

Glad to hear that things have brightened up for you in terms of shipping And I love your sig! Can't wait to see more TouKen in :re!!!!!!!

If TG fans haven't shipped Touken before, this moment from Ch.71 must have been the final push for many of them, including you, huh? To me it has already been before that though. I loved their dynamic XD It's funny... This is the first time that I am shipping young adults in a Manga. Touka should be 20 now, and Kaneki 22. I hope that if Ishida really will establish a romantic relationship b/w them, that it will be a new manga experience for me. This is a seinen manga, and so far this is the first one I've picked up. Well, I guess you could say AoT is also seinen, but romance in there is only one-sided from Mikasa's part (I still love EreMika though).

I wouldn't be upset if it was someone else, I think it would be pretty cool. Maybe they could have a connection to Kaneki! That "make believe" line was sad, and was part of what had me thinking of his sadness lol He won't be able to hold Shironeki off for long XD he's destined to come back!

 

If Ayato knew what was good for him, he would stay away. I'm sorry, but he got his ass whopped. Brutally. He can't handle Shironeki. I love that pic of Shironeki. Another one that's especially good is the one when he kicked Ayato through the roof and is looking down on him from above. It's when he said the line in my sig. 

 

I'm hesitant to actively seek other forums for the TG fandom, I wouldn't want part of my experience with TG to be taken away due to negativity from the select few people in the fandom. Im fine here XD I agree, part of what made this manga great is the connections that Kaneki was able to make, he's a great MC.

 

Lol I already knew about those, I just didn't wanna say anything and end up confusing anyone.

Kaneki is special; pretty sure he has some living relative besides his aunt and cousin out there. Maybe his father is actually alive, who knows? Maybe the one who died was not his biological dad.

Oh btw, you know, if Touka changed her hair color, maybe she's also wearing contacts b/c the shade of her eyes is kind of lighter in my opinion. I wonder what color she dyed her hair, too... Blue, blond, red, XD ?!

Lol, Ayato ain't gonna beat Shironeki, not in a thousand yrs! His whole body got wrecked. Oh yes, I totally love that expression he made after he did the 103 bones things. Another moment I love is when Shironeki just came out of the shower in Ch.88 Never thought he would get that hot *faints*  And that battlesuit!

For now, I'm perfectly fine with you guys in this thread. I hope more members will join us ^_^ I'm sorry, but this manga literally eradicated the immense depression I had b/c of Naruto.

His recent interviews just really changed my perception I had of him. I've never ever heard anyone in my life before spouting so much BS and inconsistencies in just a few weeks! Two more NH and SS pages for the Otaku fans of course ;)

AHK just wants you to see the greatness of Tokyo Ghoul ;) It really is worth it! But regardless of what manga we're reading after Naruto, as long as we give other mangas a try, there's always a chance to find something great. For AHK, LuckyChi7, and me this new greatness was Tokyo Ghoul.

I would like to see a confrontation between the two of them again. Although to be honest, I think that Ayato m ight have approached Touka and redeemed himself to her, because there's no way that she would let him take Hinami with him to Aogiri. I think that maybe Hinami wanted to go to Aogiri for something to do with Kaneki, and Touka told ayato to watch over her. That'd be awesome! Let's assume, he really was Kaneki's father, then most likely he became a ghoul during his lifetime. Or maybe, natural one-eyed ghouls do not have the genes to give their offsprings their ghoul-like traits. That would explain why Kaneki was human. Kaneki was only four yrs old, so I could imagine that he didn't notice/remember how his father might have hesitated with eating human food at home.

EDIT: Forget that part about eating human food at home. I forgot we are talking about biological father

Blond... I don't think so, b/c Akira's hair is blond and drawn completely "white" to indicate that. Maybe a brownish color, lol. What am I saying? It's really hard to tell. You would think Hinami's dark hair in the manga is indicating a black or another dark hair color, but in the anime it's a light brown.

You have a point with Ayato and Hinami. Touka loves her too much. I'm excited to find out why Hinami joined Aogiri Tree. Ayato loves Touka- in his own twisted way. He ate her Kagune so that she couldn't fight anymore and later on assumed her identity as the new rabbit. Lol, fans are already shipping AyatoxHinami (not me though; too early to say anything). They should be around the same age by now I think. It's funny, although Hinamie was 13-14 in Part 1, I always thought that she was younger.

It was a one-time fanservice to the girls It's funny how Kaneki learned all this fighting in just six months (and partially from books, too). Looool, of course I wouldn't try to destroy a relationship that is my OTP

We all know that Sasaki is Kaneki that's just an obvious fact, but I may have missed it incase they gave an explanation as to why his hair is the way it is.


Something's been bugging me about Ayato though and the fact that Hanami is with him. I know there's an explanation behind it, and Ishida has something planned for it. The question is what is it going to be? This may be obvious, but who do you think Hanami will run into first, Touka or Sasaki (aka Kaneki)?

In my opinion, I think Hinami will meet Sasaki first. She obviously still loves Kaneki b/c she said that the Quinckies resemble her "brother". Meeting Hinami might be another sensational push towards his memories just like Nishiki, Yomo, and Touka's meeting did. And also, I'm just clinging to this assumption b/c I'm being selfish: I love the brother-sister relationship Kaneki and Hinami had in Part 1.

Did you read what AHK wrote about Hinami and Ayato? He believes that Touka might have reconciled with her brother by now and now is asking Ayato to protect Hinami in Aogiri Tree since we all know how much Touka loves her. I think it's a very good theory. I said it before, and I'll say it again: For now, AyatoxHinami does not even have the status of a ship with just two panels (and yet I've read somewhere that people ship it).

EDIT: On the first page of Ch.1, Ayato has some blood on his face, as well as Hinami. So I am assuming that there was a fight going on before they took of. Also, Hinami is wearing a robe with a hood, as if you she is trying to hide. Maybe Ayato was fighting to protect Hinami, who knows?

would wager on the first one, where he was human and got turned into the ghoul. Remember how the CCG investigated Kanoe and found out that he went to during his stint with them, he went to Germany, then came back to Japan and quit the CCG in favor of being a regular doctor? One of the characters said something that stuck out: "What did he see over in Germany that made him want to be a regular doctor?" What if he went to Germany and saw experiments on ghouls, and decided that he wanted to try it, and the best way he could do so was to become a regular doctor? What if he saw Kaneki's dad over in Germany get turned into one, that's what inspiried him?

 

Whatever her hair color is, she's still beyond pretty :)

 

I'm really interested to see what in the world Aogiri is after. Why are they making one eyed ghouls? I feel like if Ayato screwed with Hinami, Touka, Yomo, and Kaneki, especially Kaneki, would obliterate his existence lol

 

Its a fanservice every time we get to see Touka-chan lol jk. I can't wait till Kaneki meets her as Kaneki!!! Just one "sh*tty Kaneki" is all I ask!!! Kaneki is a beast for learning that stuff from a book lol

Well I have been kinda forcing myself from hearing anything about season 2, and once I finish season 1 which will probably only take me a day if I'm completely free from anything then discussing about season 2 shouldn't be a  problem.

As for Touken yeah it's my new OTP, and do I believe they'll become canon. I have a lot of faith in Ishida and his story i mean if he basically told Studio Perriot "get the hell away from my manga and let me take over for as the writer " then that says alot. Which leads me to belive that Touken will become canon as to how it'll become canon we'll just have to wait and see.

would wager on the first one, where he was human and got turned into the ghoul. Remember how the CCG investigated Kanoe and found out that he went to during his stint with them, he went to Germany, then came back to Japan and quit the CCG in favor of being a regular doctor? One of the characters said something that stuck out: "What did he see over in Germany that made him want to be a regular doctor?" What if he went to Germany and saw experiments on ghouls, and decided that he wanted to try it, and the best way he could do so was to become a regular doctor? What if he saw Kaneki's dad over in Germany get turned into one, that's what inspiried him?
 
Whatever her hair color is, she's still beyond pretty :)
 
I'm really interested to see what in the world Aogiri is after. Why are they making one eyed ghouls? I feel like if Ayato screwed with Hinami, Touka, Yomo, and Kaneki, especially Kaneki, would obliterate his existence lol

 
Its a fanservice every time we get to see Touka-chan lol jk. I can't wait till Kaneki meets her as Kaneki!!! Just one "sh*tty Kaneki" is all I ask!!! Kaneki is a beast for learning that stuff from a book lol

Hmm, it's true that something must have happened in Germany that motivated Kanou to leave the CCG. I wonder though what Kaneki's dad was doing in Germany...
Oh, do you know when Kanou went to Germany? About how many yrs ago was it? I remember in Ch.4 of :re this speech from Akira:

The quinque was created in Germany, apparently, by that german scientist and the father of the current CCG chairmen Tsuneyoshi Washuu. Maybe Kaneki's father was a CCG investigator and accompanied Yoshiu to Germany ? That could be the only possible explanation to me as to why he was in Germany. Kanou might have also accompanied Yoshiu, too, and experience some life-changing experience while he was in Germany.

Touken was one of the reason why I got into Tokyo Ghoul! I saw the reunion on my tumblr dashboard and immediately got mesmerized by Touka's beauty (but I didn't recognize her first, lol).
I wonder, too, about Aogiri. Most likely, the organization wants to use one-eyed ghouls as soldiers due to their strength. Based on Eto's last line in Ch.143, their goal is to created other one-eyed ghouls just as strong as Kaneki.

"Sh*tty Kaneki". I hope Touka in :re will curse out of all a sudden and surprise Sasaki XD Speaking of which, do you remember this?

Thank god Season 2 is coming out soon! I get the impression that it's highly anticipated in Japan.

Speaking of Hinami, I just read over Ch.4, and I noticed this:

Ch.4

Hinami says:" The usual, please."
Torso:"...Ok".
He hands her something that looks like a USB stick... I can't identify what is written on there...
What do you think this scene is? Torso might know some valuable information which is why Nishiki is after him.

I'm glad to hear that you like Touken so much and have so much hope for them. I trust Ishida, too, I really do- except when it comes to "cannon romance". I'm convinced that the two of them will have a romantic relationship going on later, but will it be "cannon" in the end? That's what I am worried about. Either one of them might die... So right now, there's a 70% of Touken becoming cannon in the end in my eyes.
Sasaki was blushing during that handkerchief scene! And he called her beautiful. Before I even read Tokyo Ghoul, I already fell in love with this scene (again tumblr dashboard).
Btw, that line with "I think I had such a beautiful person in my life before" might be wrong. Several translators on tumblr said that what Sasaki is really saying is this:" To think that such a beautiful person exists." The differences in these two translations are obvious.
