I guess because if Rukia got swapped with Orihime, they hope Hinata will shine. Nope.

 

Kaguya will not get sealed, she will show her true power or madara will take over.
Kakashi power up because naruto power?
I predict sakura will get a stab for next volume.

OMG OMG Is this really happening? did Sakura actually punched Kaguya? I need a minute to revive.

First and foremost, I want to quote Naruto- 'That's the girl I put my faith in' .

Sakura Haruno- the normal girl who has come such a long way as a Kunoichi, through sheer hard work and determination, that she fights side by side with her semi-God tier team-mates against a God-tier Kaguya. And you know what? she does not look out of place among them. She belongs there.

 

Second point- Am I the only one who loved this? Sakura on her very first attempt manages to achieve what Sasuke desperately tried and failed to achieve even after around twenty trials- Landing a hit on Kaguya. I find it hilarious that Sasuke is the only one who has yet to do anything significant in this fight.The only highlight of Sasuke was him being stuck in some dimension and needing Sakura to save his butt. Even Obito proved to be more useful than Sasuke       

 

And I really loved Naruto's comment- "Woah, Kakashi's powers are cooler than Sasuke's". One thing that you can be definitely sure of when predicting a chapter is this- Sasuke Uchiha will get trolled.

I hope this fight is over next chapter. I really want this war arc to be over. In any case this chapter was certainly better than last week's chapter but it does seem like Kishimoto is just making up all these powers on the spot and Kaguya hasn't felt very threatening for a while now.

I find it funny some people even complain about sakura in the heroine picture, I mean it was sure heroic of hinata to trip on a rock rather than do something like sakura did in saving naruto.

Otherwise the chapter was great with sakura droping down on kagyua so naruto and Sasuke could hit her with the seal.

It's funny how Sasuke called her and Kakashi useless and now they did more than him.

Anyone read Kakashi's words about Team 7?

The last time he said something about it, was to Sasuke, that it doesn't change the fact that he was part of team 7.

Today, Kakashi announced last team 7 mission, wich means that there will be no team 7 anymore in the futur.

Well, when I said "punch out Kaguya" I didn't mean literally, but I guess this works. At least people won't be complaining anymore. I have to laugh even harder that the people saying "See? I told you she was badass and she didn't need power-ups" are the same people who were complaining that she needed a power-up and she wasn't doing enough. lmao. I'm sorry, but that just makes me laugh so hard.

I thought this chapter was good and again, as I keep saying, what is the point of Sasuke? Now he only there to look go-....well he is there. Who needs him? If Sasuke wasn't needed for the sealing of Kaguya, both his powers, his attitude, and his presence are not needed. He is practically useless outside of the sealing.

lol. Yes Naruto, Kakashi is more badass than Sasuke, because unlike Sasuke Kakashi actually trains his abilities. I have to say this is why Sasuke lacks so much. He doesn't train as much as the others. After maybe the initial two years I haven't seen Sasuke train at all. Just gain new powers on a whim because reasons. His combat experience is lacking. It;s not wonder he is not so good anymore. He used to be good in part 1, but now...now Naruto is actually smarter, faster, and better looking better at combat than he is. He relies too much on his Sharingan and Rinnegan to do all the heavy lifting. When it fails he is left dumb founded. It reminds me of Kaze No Stigma here when Kazuma describes Ayano and Catherine.

 

It's pretty cool how a series of drawings can be so suspenseful.  I thought it was great.

 

And of course, SO GLAD that Sakura delivered the last hit (so far, at least) and refused to be left behind.  

 

Sasuke has been majorly shown up lately, and I love it.   The teammates he once considered to be like insects in the presence of his greatness have just as much talent and none of the crappy, emo attitude.  Stale arrogance is bitter stuff, eh Sasuke?

You know what's weird? Not that I'm against my words, but yesterday I read OP and I think to myself, "Well, at least female audience would be fine." Today, now I fear them. In Naruto, last chapter, while not to me, people talks about Sakura not doing anything. Now, she has resume that reads, "Punched a God," let alone justify that it was needed. So, talk about opposite approach.

Remember the Asuma arc? When Ino, Shikamaru and Chouji became chuunin, Asuma announced Team Asuma (which was what the manga called it at the time) was dissolved.

Kakashi's words does sound like one of them will die, but it could also mean that they've "graduated", or it could foreshadow that Sasuke will leave once this Big Bad is gone.

One or two vocal people on Tumblr were whining about Sakura Not Doing Anything, but I just laughed. We've literally had several months in a row where Sakura hasn't even appeared in the manga, why is it such a big disappointment that she didn't fight in 688?

Awesome chapter with Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi doing something! I wonder how long Kakashi will last though. For regular Sharingan users the Susan'oo is draining. One of Kakashi's problems always was that because he didn't have Uchiha blood his Sharingan was more draining... unless Obito gave him Uchiha blood... ew.

Well, this was all or nothing. Kaguya did the biggest Bijuudama, so it's like "Stop her, or all of you are dead." So, this is like the final mission. Win or lose, no other options.
