You know, I would question the things that happened this chapter but honestly I stopped caring a while ago.

On a possibly related note I would like to congratulate Kishimoto for doing something completely unexpected. I can honestly say that  I did not consider the possibility of Obito dying and using spirit magic to give Kakashi an instant power up.

 

I wonder what's going to happen next on Kishimoto's Wild Ride.

I just realized that people's prediction of a fusion happening in Naruto actually came true! haha. Not with the people that most people thought it would be, Naruto and Sasuke, but still, it happened! lol. That took me a little while to put together.

remember the cover color of chapter 685? A few of people thought that Kakashi wouldn't have did anything in the incoming chapters because he was behind the front line with his horse... Or the color cover of chapter 679 where there was Gandalf Kakashi who was only observing the guys....

Does the power temporary or not?
If it is, then kakashi could perform that as long as obito chakra/soul/spirit still there.

I'm not certain. Even if the spiritual remnants of the chakra disappears from Kakashi, some excuse could easily be made to allow him to keep it like his mind/body being embedded with the knowledge on how to use them.

The funny aspect to Kakashi's sudden achievement is the fact that he continues to spontaneously shift positions on the tier lists. From one-eyed Uchiha, to the hopeful Neo-White Fang, and now he's shifted to the complete opposite end of spectrum as the unofficial Uchiha with one of the strongest techniques in the manga. Not too long ago, people were debating whether he was still powerful enough to rival Guy, now he holds the instrument of destruction which made all of the Kages quake with fear.

By this point, Kishi's credibility has waned so much that having Sakura receiving a new power up on the spot wouldn't be too much of a surprise. She could project a gundam of her own in the form of a giant Inner Sakura like in the Ultimate Ninja series or maybe it'll be revealed to us that she's been experimenting with a very powerful genjutsu that's on-par with Tsukuyomi.

So I'm not the only one who's disappointed in this chapter.

I wondered though, if Kaguya left them in that dimension how would they get back since no one had kamui anymore. I guess Kishi realized that too.
"Here bro, let me come back from the dead spirit world to give you my eyes."

Next thing you know Sakura really has a secret bloodline connection with Kaguya and can summon a sage slug tree of life, where the petals instant heal and revive everyone from the beginning of the show.

Hey its true! SS fans call Naruto an 'orange baboon' whenever he gets in the way of their ship. So yeah, a monkey might end up finishing Kaguya solo

I'm not so much angry but disappointed, Sakura doesn't get anything because there isn't anyone around her vicinity to give her anything unless it's Naruto. Which sucks, I want her to be highlighted as well too!

 

However I do love the fact that Sakura yelled for Naruto, looks like she has gotten past the Sasuke phase. I can't wait for the rest of the manga to come out. I want to see the closure!
