man, reading the latest pages i smell obirin is like naruhina, due to hand holding

They've been saying that for a while now so it doesn't surprise me.

 

Man, I was hoping just a little to see Rin have some sort of feelings for Obito, but I know that it wouldn't have fit with the flow of the chapter. But the more I think about it the more I see that it wasn't so much about concluding ObiRin, it was about giving it a proper start, even if it's in the after life, with Obito finally taking a chance by being alone with her.

 

exactly, a start of a new life....we only could hope that there will be an happy ending for them too... and i'm sure that Obito will manage it...

By the way, I DO think the end part was an obvious parallel to the POAL.There was no need to word it as a 'promise'. It could have been dream, goal, ambition, etc but Kishi intentionally worded it as a 'promise'.Obito saying to Naruto to become Hokage and that end scene was an obvious indication of Naruto being a successful version of Obito and Sakura being the one who is still safely protected and watching him.

I see it as negative.
BOth promises impacted negatively towards both Naruto and Obito, being successfull matters little what mattered in terms for Rin was that he did his best.
But the difference is that Naruto promise is selfish while Rin is not.
 

Wow. Well, that end for Obito was a little bit of everything. I am glad for Naruto being who he is and praising at least some aspects of Obito's person. Obito wasn't all bad. Bad choices maybe, but deep down he wasn't a bad person. He didn't kill for revenge or pleasure. He didn't go out of his way to kill people even when he did.

At least he got to be with Rin for once. 

I think people are confusing what a terrorist actually is. Terrorist thrive on chaos and destruction. They kill because it is fun and only to gain pleasure. Obito is not a terrorist. Im sorry, but he isn't. Instead, he was just a lost soul that killed people if they got in his way. That's the difference. Obito didn't go out of his way to kill people or took solace of it. He merely wanted Rin back and was willing to do anything to do it. Naruto saw inside Obito's heart and he knew that Obito was not an evil person. Madara and Kaguya were evil, not Obito.

Obito even wanted people to support his goal and promised better loves to people. He even went to the Kage and said "Give me the tailed beasts, and I will allow you all to live. If not, then a war it shall be." He is not happy to go to war, he just found it to be a necessary. At least at the time. Terrorism is different. Terrorism is meant to keep people in fear. A psychological warfare of sorts. If anything, Madara and Orochimaru were terrorists.

WTF he didnt escaped with the Kyuubi instead of ordering it to destroy the village?

Also terrorist inst a person who kills for gain or pleasure, you have the wrong notion of it, terrorist are people who wants to achieve their goals towards destruction by involving innocents into it.
Obito did that when he attacked the village instead of just stealing the kyuubi which what he did.

I'm close to dropping really, my blood boiled when i saw Naruto saying Obito is the cooolest guy when he killed his parents and is directly responsible for his misery.

Serves to prove that never force Naruto to lose his temper. If he loses his temper, he can be a total badass and even a bigger badass than Sasuke. He's too nice of a guy to be with but the moment you hit his nerve which leads to his emotions regarding the people he cares.......you are done for.

I don't mind Naruto standing up for Obito, but praising him as the coolest guy is a bit of a stretch for me. cause as already pointed out, Although Obito has sympathetic reasons his choices ended up costing many lives. It's fine for Naruto to stand up for Obito because, again Obito has a sympathetic view to him and That's just how Naruto is, I just don't think calling him the "coolest guy" was deserved. Or whatever the Translation may be.

I have to say I really loved this chapter I mean sure Obito did bad and killed a number of people but its like what Jiraiya said. "Its not how a Shinobe lives but how they die that defines who they are." And like many characters of the past Obito showed he died not only saving Naruto but Kakashi as well.

 

and not to mention he was never an Ass like Sasuke was, he never said oh look at me I'm an Uchiha I'm better than you. Which is something that Sasuke has always done, heck he's still doing, But I do love that Sasuke is getting angry at Naruto man he just need to learn to deal with it and not complain like a baby.
