Aha! You can't fool me again! Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me! Not today! You already got me at 615! It won't happen again!
Ahem.
Ok, so well this is a pretty good chapter in my opinion and thought it was paced well. I actually thought the explanation would last a long time, thus making this chapter a slow one. Luckily, it went by quick. That said well it was easy to figure it out. Just wondering where the real one went. Stood by, though it's the right idea to stall time before she goes back and see what's going on.
I do wonder if Naruto would be ok from this because couple of things. One is that Naruto got to stall her, so in a way, the only strategy in this case is to be a meat shield. He can't afford her to travel and catch Obito and Sakura in that dimension, so be a live bait. Two, Kaguya is in kill mode for Naruto, so no more mercy and no more entrapping him to get her chakra back. Lastly, Zetsu finally caught on who is the real Naruto. Ironic: shadow clone is such a high tier jutsu that when a Rikudou's half uses it, it exposes the fraud very easy. Go figure. The last time we see Naruto was that moment, so it makes me wonder if Naruto would get his ass handed to her or will he come clean? Or at least the same he was.
Obito and Sakura are the highlight of this chapter. To begin with, I truly like the teamwork from these two. I always endure teamwork. And no I didn't grow up from that show with "what's going to work? Teamwork." I'm always a fan of it. Plus we don't get that now, though just for now. Anyway, I like how both of them are determined to help and at the same time, looking out for each other. Sakura grows concern for Obito's health as he told her keep moving. Then, we have him telling her to rest yet she won't stop.
Like many said, yes, Naruto is the fuel for them to do all this work because they really want to help him. It's not a confusing moment because Sakura laid it out saying that she don't want to waste on Naruto's sacrifice to provide time. Let's not forget Obito is the one that came out saying that he wants to help Naruto at all cost because well, he's a big fan now. That's why Obito got the idea but maybe more. What I like is that Sakura didn't get that and Obito didn't repeat or explain. In short, her words/actions are very telling. It's like if you just end Sai and Sakura's conversation very early on when talking about how nice she is to Naruto. Pretty much, it's a mystery without pointing the obvious. It's no wonder that they got hyped. I love that panel because it's like they're really determined to get the job done. It so happen to be the moment when they found Sasuke. Great, no more pee drinking.
Ok, now, the last page, well I thought this was nice of him. This isn't a defining moment, rather a nice snake way to make it work. It's almost good as 615, so long you don't go overboard. It's a way of presenting a neat treat without making one going out of character, mainly Sasuke. It works because her jacket was right there, and we the audience supposed to assume that Sakura and Obito has failed, especially since both of them have the look of defeat. So, surprise surprise, he got out thanks to his power. So the biggest question that this whole fandom is going to be asking for a week and well, I guess I can't blame them, and that is: what's next?
Well, join me later as I write a LAP on the current event.
