Going by what you said it would've been OOC for Sasuke to apologize to Karin, yet he did it anyway.

 

Sasuke isn't a kitten just for the sake of being an kitten. He's simply unnecessarily blunt in his opinion. Sasuke simply stating how Sakura (along Naruto and Obito) reached him wouldn't be weird, it's just stating the facts.

 

Also, I never said Sasuke would only focus on Sakura. Obviously he would make a mention about Naruto and Obito as well, that's just common sense. And he's not going to praise them for rescuing him either (is that really what you thought I said?). He'll just give a passing mention of what they did.

 

Maybe something like "It seems I will be able to go back thanks to you all" while making a face of indifference. What were you imagining that I was expecting? For Sasuke to say "OMG you guys are the greatest!!! Thank you so much for coming", of course not, that sounds retarded.

 

And remember that in the Summit arc Sakura clearly said she would believe in both of them, so it would actually be OOC of Sakura to not see her believing in Sasuke too. Sakura isn't gonna be thinking that it's all hopeless with Sasuke during the final battle, so it would be nice to establish that she believes in the "good" within Sasuke on her own.

Yes but with Karin is different she has that influence on him Itachi & Naruto being the other two he has never treated her poorly like the rest except in the KS arc but i digress .

 

LOL I know who Sasuke is I'm not disagreeing with that but still I find it unlikely that he would admit that he was wrong 

 

Oh then sorry I misunderstood you in here but like I said at best I see him brushing that of and if Kishi's intention was to show some "good" of him then the previous chapters serve no purpose at all .

Yeah she said that despite Sasuke not showing any "good" and he's doing the same now this is the set up he shows no remorse for anything even if he does what you are implying that still doesn't erase the previous chapters they are there for a reason and its not to show some "good" of Sasuke and him act like you say doesn't really cut the previous or show any good of him he's just stating the obvious how is that a sign of him showing some good ?.

 

But I find it rather stupid that she will bc he's going after Naruto's head the person she supposedly loves it makes no sense for her to concern with his "redemption" when he's going after Naruto's head and after his dream , to believe in Naruto that he might be able to pull it out its OK bc its Naruto she trust him completely but her faith in Sasuke is 00000000000000000000000000,1 % but I can not see her being OK with him wanting to go for it after what Sasuke has pulled and is about to do go after his life and dream I would at least expect her to try and stop him talk to him but in the end Naruto to explain to her why does he needs to do it .  Also it makes no difference to me whether or not her believing in him would be good as to say there would be no doubt about her feelings  that's for the none believers bc she's turning away from him not bc of evil but bc she now sees him in his full light and its not the one she imagined that great gentle shy caring guy this is the case since the Kage arc we just need her to state it why and state why she loves Naruto in her second confession I presume .

Okay so after I have re-read the chapter, I noticed that Obito said "I will go to the other dimension and that I will bring Sasuke back" right after he told Naruto's clone and Sakura to come. I think he's going alone( noticed how he said I not we, but the raws can be different and say we) and that he just told them to come for when he needs their chakra in order to teleport. I can be wrong of course.

Ah I see. So they're going to work together to help him out and when the portal, they probably go "god speed!" But on the other hand, things doesn't always goes according to plan, so I get the feeling we will see them improvise to make it work or something else. I mean a chapter just to do one thing that seems easy doesn't make sense. I expect something like they have to improvise like maybe Kaguya knows something and don't want to do it anymore, so they will have to force her doing so or something. We'll see. I expect a lot of plan b and strategy to go down.

Well according to them, his future is death, so the least he can do is to help Naruto one last time. Sucks, but it can't be undone.

It's not about showing Sasuke doing or saying something good towards Sakura, is about showing that Sasuke can acknowledge Sakura's actions. The "good" will only truly come after Sasuke's redemption.

 

Right now Sakura feels like Sasuke wouldn't even accept that they were once comrades, so I'm guessing that some minor acknowledgment from Sasuke would push her confidence towards the happy ending she wants for Team 7.

 

There's a difference between Sakura believing Sasuke is already good and believing in Sasuke's potential to be good. Just believing in the potential doesn't contradict Sasuke's bad behavior.

 

Besides, you don't have to like someone in order to acknowledge what they do. Sasuke is not the type to praise, but he isn't so petty that he would pretend no one came to his rescue.
