That penalty was legit, despite Robben not being able to reach that ball, it was kinda obvious that Rafa Marquéz was incompetent by leaving his leg there to prevent Robben to continue his path, right in front of the referee.
Obviously Robben did some acting to valorize the foul he received but the blame is entirely to the defender, inside the box you cannot has the same attitude when you're outside the box.
You should put your leg as long as you're sure, you're going to touch the ball.
Also Mexican commentators said it was a penalty so end of story.

I will say it was not penalty in this one, but in the first half yes that one was a penalty, so the referee for redeem himself he played this one. Divine justice for Nedtherland
By way Darkrest are you were watching the game in Univision?

Greece has tied it up. Should be a good finish.

It was very sad for Mexico team and for us, but they have many defensive mistakes in the second half and Netherlands has no mercy with that.
and yeah... Mexico always have lucky to face the most difficult and powerful teams in the next eliminatory of the world cup .
Well and now I don't know what team I should support Netherlands or Colombia, now I like more Colombia maybe we shall see their quality of game in the future.
it is with the heart as we see correctly; what is essential is invisible to the eyes

Muchacha como se dira en ingles Jugamos como nunca y perdimos como siempre?
interesante pregunta, estaba pensando en estas dos opciones, no se cuál se entienda mejor en su grámatica
a) "We play as we have never done and lost it as we have always done"
b) "We played like never before and lost it as always"
what you like?

Well I'm still pissed with Howard Webb. He always seems to screw things up and that's from way back then. Just watch Liverpool's games. So yeah my thoughts about him may be biased, but how the hell a referee who completely ignores a penalty AND disallows a legit goal (I have watched it over and over again and to me it is still legit) can be considered the best one in the country.
Well we still won in the end. Congrats Julio Cesar, you sure redeemed yourself. And sorry Howard, but there's only so much you can do to try and screw others, lol. (Please don't mind my rambling thoughts )
Mexico x Netherlands was a great game and even though I was cheering for both teams, Mexico deserved the victory so much more IMO. Ochoa outdid himself again, lol! He is so far the best goalkeeper at the World Cup. That penalty decision was completely wrong. :(
Can't wait!

Already imaging if Narusaku or Naruhina or SS does not become canon some fans will be like this. Talking about futbol (soccer) someday if futbol will grow in US will embraces those feelings and emotions.
