It will... why do you think Kishi made a what-if movie showing how it could possibly work?

Plus, it wouldn't be the first time Sasuke has cut through someone in danger to get to his target (Karin in the Danzo fight) so it's shouldn't be so hard to believe that that happened here.

But I remember some fans saying that he did that because he wasn't himself, so for him to possibly attempt it another time would me what? That's he's not himself again?

Personally I think the entire thing form Sakura to Sasuke was a reaffirmation of the scene where Sai said she didn't have a truthful smile when saying she trusted Sasuke. It was a Confirmation for her, of what she suspected. She knows Sasuke just plain doesn't care anymore.

Oh. My. GOD. YES! kitten YES!!  FINALLY she gets it. After 675 chapters she finally understands; she finally acknowledges the fact that Uchiha Sasuke has never given a single kitten about her (And yes, I know this statement is false, but let's pretend the few instances where Sasuke did save her ass never happened, just this once). THIS is what I needed, not that ambiguous piece of kitten that is Kakashi's inner thought. When it comes to pairing moments, in particular, I do not give a crap about these outside sources. I only care about what Naruto and Sakura are thinking and feeling. The previous chapter pissed me of so bad (in a number of ways), I thought about doing a rant, but I'm so glad I held off. This is what I needed. 

 

Only one thing I didn't like in this amazing, beautiful chapter, that one thing Sakura did. Gonna be blunt here; simply a dumbass, heat-of-the-moment move by Sakura. I mean, really? This is the same guy that annihilated the Gokage. The same guy that summoned freakin meteors on the SA. The same dude that fodderized 9 bijuu + 2 jinchuuriki, without EYES. No type of communication with your teammates. No type of planning, just balls-out, huh. Oh Kishi. Her haters will have a field day with this one.

dude relax naruto has been known to charge in like that to a very good example was him charging obito when he was the juubi when seconds earlier he figured out only sage mode works on him

Actually, the first page's posts should have spoilers. However, it seems either people keep forgetting about it or they're not putting them on purpose. Kinda makes me feel bad for the mods since they always have to edit them over and over again.

Anyway, back to topic: Sakura showing Byakugou? Cool beans, though people my bash her because she couldn't do anything to Madara. But let them hate. She is still standing and ready to keep fighting. Now, I am getting a bit frustrated as to how many Aces can Madara have. However, I'm hoping for Kishi to pull the Sakura card, since it would make the perfect opportunity to make her a heroine. How? Her ability to see through Genjutsu. And who knows, maybe it would look great with Naruto somehow aiding her. :-)

It was only a matter of time... Guess Naruto restored her chakra or something before heading out. Really could use a flashback now XD As for Madara...he's a tool who's about to OP the power of the OP

This chapter was awesome. I'm really excited for the next one and Sakura releasing her seal was epic! I totally loved her badass moment charging Madara and how she didn't even flinch when she got stabbed. Sure, I wish Sakura did more but this is Madara after all. We shouldn't expect too much and anyway, Sakura was really brave trying take him on. I really liked that flashback of hers. It was so much better than her being in the background.

 

The NaruSaku moments were sorta unexpected, but it was so cute seeing Naruto save her and worry over her that whole time. I liked how he stayed right next to her for a little bit, you can just see how much he cares.  And Sasuke ... he was most definitely about to cut through Sakura, you could see it. My thoughts on the matter? What the kitten, Sasuke. What the actual kitten. I'm not even surprised.

 

I actually felt bad for Sakura though when she realized Sasuke didn't care. Right there, I think she fully realized that Sasuke wasn't the Part 1 Sasuke again and that Team 7 still wasn't the same. That's why I think she was sad, though I don't consider it a romantic SS moment. Definitely negative.  I don't think Sakura was thinking about romance there, but I still stick to my "I believe she thinks she's still in love with him" theory.

 

I already see the SS fans counting this as Pro-SS and saying "Naruto was right there and Sakura didn't care that he saved her or was worried. It was ALL about Sasuke. She wanted him to care more etc. etc. NaruSaku is one-sided blah blah blah". While I'm already annoyed at those arguments, I feel that's definitely over-reacting on their side since SASUKE BASICALLY NEARLY KILLED HER JUST WHEN HE WAS VAGUELY ACTING LIKE PART 1 SASUKE.

 

I hope Sakura fights more. And I wonder about that genjutsu. Does it really manipulate people's dreams like in RTN? That'd be really interesting to see if everyone gets in put in it. Some nice drama there.

 

So excited for the next chapter!

SS fandom doesn't even believe that he was going to slice through her, even though literally everyone else (not just NS shippers, like they seem to think) does.

And yeah, I think that's the in-story excuse anyway. Naruto's still gotta change Sasuke so what he does now doesn't mean anything, cause he's not ~himself~.

Nice to see some focus on Sakura.  Love the seal.

 

Despite the past, it would still be difficult to accept that an old friend would cut you down even when you're supposedly fighting together.  Just last chapter Kakashi's thoughts told us that Sakura's feelings for Sasuke had changed, implying that her sentiment for him was that of friendship and team bonds.  But Sasuke is not capable even of that much, even when their backs are to the wall.

 

Sakura's recognition of Naruto's concern for her at the same time she's registering her disappointment at Sasuke's coldness is not only a reinforcement of her changed feelings for Sasuke, but it will serve to remind her that Sasuke would not hesitate to kill Naruto, too, if he gets the chance.

 

Don't know what to think of the Infinite Tsukuyomi.  If Kishimoto hadn't already committed to the manga coming to an end soon, it could go on for years if he chose to explore the tangents of individual dreams.  Hopefully Kishimoto will use the opportunity to show us what some of these characters harbor in their hearts....

 

I'd like to see the foreshadowing of Sakura's skill with genjutsu brought into play.

okay but seriously look (upper right panel).......Sasuke was not stopping...he was going to slice Sakura.

which is why Sakura was upset that Sasuke doesn't seem to care about her (even as a teammate) at all, if he was willing to use her like that. She probably thought that they could AT LEAST work together.

If it is the way you are saying, then does it mean that Sakura knew Sasuke was going to slice through her/stab her again? And that Naruto knew what Sasuke intended on doing? Then it even means that the 'shiver' 'shiver' thing is for Sasuke and not invisible wall and that she cannot escape because she is caught by Madara? Yours and others interpretation does make sense though.

I am sure that now Kishi is slowly building that Sakura "arc" or something he said about. Because he did say that after Kakashi, Sakura comes next and we finally have genjutsu, the thing she is said to surpass Tsunade with, coming to fruition. :)

I might be wrong but. I think that she reponded that way. because of the fact that he was going to go through her to get madara.

Well its not like she saw him doing it he was approaching them from behind.

Her reaction was because Sasuke didn't care about her well being, she wasn't even seeing him approach her from behind so I don't even think she was aware of him getting ready to chop her up. Whether or not he was actually going to do that is debatable since Naruto didn't lecture him about it and that you could make the argument Naruto was saving her from Madara's limbo attack.

Ata any rate I'm getting really tired of Sakura having to be reminded that Sasuke is a kitten. She was weary of him this entire war arc why would she be surprised he isn't batting an eye towards any of them.

Wow back then Sasuke care about the safety of his teammate, now it's all about capitalize on an opening even if it mean 1 of them as too die. Was expected the 3 Sannin vs Hanzo X10. No it look more like Naruto and Sakura vs Madara vs Sasuke

 

In Sasuke's mind:  like a triple threat were 2 parties team up to fight a common threat but if you can weaken the other while taking out the main threat, you do). Team 7 is allies right now, not friend.

 

And for me if anyone has doubt, that pretty much nailed SS. I don't say it's dead since for me it wasn't alive in Shippuden to begin with. (All the time since they first encounter Sasuke, he tried to kill Naruto and Sakura)

 

Good chapter though it was short and I like seeing badass Sakura:) and caring Naruto.

 

If that Infinite Tsukuyomi hit, which people do you think won't be trapped in it. 

I think only team seven at that point ( Naruto will probably protect those close to him physically)

This teamwork sucks. Only 2 person did the real work. I like sakura and all but there really is no point for her and kakashi to be there other than reaction shots.
