They should end the series with their own ending. And then the series get reboot to follow the novel faithfully.Yesterday's episode made me very, very upset for a lot of reasons. I think I need to fundamentally alter how I watch the show because this is quickly becoming an untenable situation.

I don't see how this could happen, a series isn't an anime where you can get reboots after reboots

Even with all the adaptations and changes, Episode 4 was indeed an awesome episode, Stannis specially was incredible.
Needless to say I think the ending made no sense but I understand why it had to be done...

Watching ep 5. The spoilers are coming true. x( I'm so afraid for Sansa. If Ramsay hurts her D&D will be done. And her poor actress has just turned 18. What they put Miranda through just now was also misogynistic and unnecessary.

I don't feel bad for Myranda though she's (almost) as bad as Ramsay.
Meanwhile Dany is going full Mad King with giving those people to her dragons.

Ugh don't remind me of that scene with Ros, D&D are pretty good at putting actors in pretty "awkward" situations.
I cringed at that bed scene with Tommen and Margaery from this season, way to go putting underage guy with woman almost twice his age.
Also i've heard somewhere that GRRM is writing one episode per season, let's hope that at least he will do something right.

D&D are misogynistic. I have no doubts at this point. I am 99% certain Turner will appear nude at least once this season and it makes me sick because I imagine they couldn't WAIT for her to turn 18.

Ros's character was killed off, supposedly, after the actress said she didn't want to do any more nude scenes.
Also, Martin is NOT writing an episode this season. He has been silent on his blog about the show this year, which I (happily) interpret as his distaste with the direction of the adaptation.

Just about every scene in episode 5 was excellent. Absolutely loved this episode, definitely my favorite of the season so far.

Not really, you're mistaking Ros character for Dany, Emilia Clarke is the one who didn't want to do more naked scenes
I also don't think their problem is mysoginistic/sexist, since they also show naked men a lot too and ASOIAF/GOT is nased on a time where most women were looked down upon . I think their problem is trying to appeal to much to the masses that got invested in |GOT because of gore/naked girls/etc

Even Kit Harington said they should make the nude scenes more gender neutral. The directors put more emphasisis on covering male genitalia than female, and usually in the nude scenes there is a lot of filler!violence against the women. Only time I'd complain about sex scene on the boy's behalf is the one between N Dormer and Tommen's actor who's still a child.

Well, the violence in general makes sense in context, specially against lower classes women like prostitutes unfortunately. You can't make a politically correct show when such show is based around the dark ages itself
but yeah maybe you have a point about this, I just think its just a minor issue

I know Emilia Clarke refused to do more nude scenes, but Esme Bianco gave several interviews expressing her dissatisfaction over being seen as a "naked" character.
And for what it's worth, I don't have a problem with nudity in the show. Martin's world is one of violence and sex and rape. I have problems when the show runners force nude scenes and brothel scenes and unnecessary sex over and over when it isn't necessary or appropriate. I read a really interesting tumblr post about it that articulated my thoughts much better that I'll try to track down.

I never saw it, , can you give a source? Either way Ros was filler character, it was expected she would be killed

I just think the shows try to amplify things due to extrea shock + gore factor
I don't think it has to do with mysoginy (blatant hate against women) but perharps has a little to do with sexism...maybe
