First off, I know everyone is excited about what the next chapters mean for NS, but lets chill for a second.  We're not guaranteed anything, and shouldn't allow it to influence our speculations of what may happen next.  I mean a significant amount of what I heard regarding Naruto's condition is what Sakura's reactions would be if he wakes up.  I'm all for NS moments, but that wasn't really the point of these last few chapters.  Naruto was close to dying.  Because he is the MC and the hero, we can assume he'll survive, but we don't know how and when, or even if he'll actually die and get revived.

 

Anyway on the chapter, the highlight was the Obito and Kakashi teamwork.  It was good for their last.  I liked the flashbacks emphasizing major points, like who would have the main role.  Putting Naruto and Sakura in the other dimension complicates matters.  It's easy to think Naruto will come to, and Obito will then take them all out.  It's the logical way of Naruto is going to be fighting Madara soon.  However, what if it doesn't work.  I'm just being objective.  I mean was this transfer really put off just so Obito could have his moment and atonement.  While Kakashi and co. were trying to get the other half back, time was moving forward.  It doesn't help that this chapter Sakura exclaimed that Madara's mere presence shook her, meaning that for possible split second she wasn't tending Naruto.  This goes along with a previous speculation I had that Kishimoto intends to break Sakura soon.  The got the other half back, yay!  Yin Kurama is entering Naruto, yay! However, it's all to late. . . Naruto already passed seconds earlier.  This kind of plot is nothing new.  You have a glimmer of hope only for it to be snatched at the lost moment, causing even greater despair.   And Sakura will be heart broken.  This is where having them in the other dimension makes it complicated.  Really, what then, if that happens?  Madara somehow invades the inner world and kicks them while their down?

 

Also, while Obito does have part of the Shukaku and Giyuki, and even if he does give it to Naruto, Naruto still wouldn't be able to pull Shikaku and Giyuki out, because they didn't give it to him willingly.  Obito forcefully pulled part of their chakra out.  No doubt it will get used in some way to fulfill that requirement, though.

 

With Sasuke's absence I hold stronger that Sasuke is being taken care of panel.  Next time we'll see him, he'll arrive on the battlefield okay, along with the mysterious person, Orochimaru, and Team Taka.  I think that will happen soon.  Then, we'll get a short flashback of Orochimaru and Team Taka encountering the bare-footed person, and Sasuke's recovery.

 

Anyway, those are my thoughts.  Next chapter:  Madara's comeback.  It is his turn.

 

And Minato fails once again -.- at this point I feel as if though Kishi is taking the loss of his father out on Minato.

 

He took the "bullet" meant for Obito which gave him and Kakashi time for him to make the jump.  How did he fail?

I have a question. How did Minato get that Kunai in his mouth?

 

Your thinking about that? I'm still trying to figure out how a guy who has been dead for 17 years keeps on coming up with a endless supply of the Kunai in the first place....what did he have them sealed into him or something? I guess if you can get the answer for one the answer for the other is probably the same.

 

He got the First and the Eight Tails power....which is interesting in two ways, one it's the power belonging to two of the hosts that are still on the battle field (though Bee could be dead right now.) the second is that it's the two Bijuu that were not present when they gave Naruto a bit of their power....So will the power go to the two former hosts or did they actually force the powers onto Obito to give to Naruto so he has the complete set now?

 

Part of me is hoping for the latter because that does give Naruto a potential massive power boost, The power of the Sage without the eyes? but on the other side I want Naruto to awaken some of the Uzumaki power and kick butt like that.

 

Wait doesn't this mean that the fake spoilers from the other day were correct? Naruto did shine at the end.

 

Oh Boy please not this again with Guy and the this person is vague recollection of who he is...the jokes too old now...do use it again Kishi.

 

Next week it will probably shift back to Sasuke and the mystery foot...who I still say is Kabuto.but if the post earlier is true, and the preview does say OLD man then it could be SO6P, though i'm really hoping it's not and hoping it's Jiraiya who was trapped in a Whale all this time and finally escaped.

 

 

Actually we've had several parallels in this story.

Naruto has been paralleled to Minato, Kushina, and Obito.
Sakura has been paralleled to Kushina and Tsunade.
Sasuke has been paralleled to Madara and Madara's Brother.

We could also say that, while not really lampshaded, Kishimoto has made effort to showcase how Madara and Hashirama are Sasuke and Naruto respectfully.

 

I'd argue the Madara was allot like Naruto early on well, and more like Itachi when older...Just somewhere he lost faith, which means atleast one more Major flashback is incomming sometime this year.

 

Sakura's been paralleled to Rin as well, in that she liked one person but it was the other person who liked her...I think the Obito/Kakashi/Rin flashbacks is also a way for Kishi to show us the potential of what Team 7 would have been like after the Chunnin Exam, if Sasuke stayed...because Sakura's attitude towards Naruto changed greatly during the exams but because of the lack of team interaction afterwards there wasn't much focus on it.

I guess, but what do you know what lampshading is? I really just count the actual times people made the connection on panel and noone has really made the connection between Rin and Sakura yet.

I am not trying to say that she should throw tantrums over Naruto. What she is doing for him is undoubtedly worth applauding. What m trying to say is she could have shown slight emotions. Now, since they are in alternate dimension a dialogue between the 3 is inevitable. But since she has kept it cool I don't think we will get to see what we are desparately waiting for! And I think Obito, Kakashi and Guy will die. Obito is bound to die, Kakashi cuz he said his *LAST* strategy and Guy due to 8 gates. However its speculation. Kishi slammed da predictions last time n I hope he does that this time too! Will be much much more than happy to be proven wrong.

It's a make it or break it for next chapter on parallel. That or pretty much until Obito and Naruto are dealt with. Now that they're alone, with nothing to be interrupted, it sure leaves room for what to come. We don't know what, but let's keep the expectations low.

Just decide yourself, to me she's acting like a determined person who is trying her best in a serious situation. I love this Sakura, she changed so much.

I think it depends on the people, i'm on the first you labelled

"crying and worrying" that's untrue obvious she should be worrying on this situation however my only complaint is that i dont see it as a NS moment just because there's no progress of her actual development she's doing the same thing she did thoughout the manga, i just hope he gives Sakura actual development on this arc rather than just make her worrying or crying for Naruto.

That's my opinion.

I don't get a lot of it either, but thank you for bringing this up. It seems like some fans are never happy even if they get exactly what they want.

@ladygt I've never said she should surrender to her emotions. I am just saying she should have atleast shown slight emotions. And yes it does seem next chapter will be a make it or break it chapter. Lets hope for the best n prepare for the worst!

But she did, did you forget chapter 632? And what about in 633? She wants him to live, for her that comes first than anything else.

And in her recent chapter she was still keeping him alive, it's her priority at the moment.

I really love this Sakura. saying that she doesn't show to much emotion is wrong IMO because like you said, she did show emotions, really strong ones in chapter 632 and 633. What can she show more then she already did, crying!?, it won't help the situatiopn in fact it will make it worst. again like you said and I said it too, her priority is to keep him alive so crying and being too upset really won't help at all.

 

I think that she will show again emotions when he will come back but again, the intensity of the moments will depends on the situation that they are in and since they are secluded, I think she'll be more up to show her emotion again ( because less danger and distractions). Not sayng that she will kiss him or anything but she will show her emotions again, I'm sure of it.

A lot of people seem to forget the NS moments and at best just brush them off. Even worse when they take the NH moments or SS moments so seriously and yet are even less meaningful.

That is true, Hinata won a nh-moment prize for falling and praying to Neji in 662, and Naruto saying 'do your best Hinata' is a moment on NF. But Sakura sharing Naruto's dream is platonic. lol how much more married can you get.. x)

I'm happy that people are picking up the demands that we have to acknowledge the fact that we can't be like this. You're either being too demanding or you easily let anyone outside get you. Like if I came back from a discussion after 615 release, I will tell everyone here that we lost. Hard to say if we let the fandom determined our thoughts or we easily being demanding. It's like an original story happens, we want this ending, not anything else. That's why we play safe and do stories that is done but with an added twist, so no one can say anything.

lol I do have to say this. After the events of 615 and how it lead to nothing combined with 632 and the chapter where Shikmaru was dying and Naruto helped save him using his Kyuubi chakra...I don't think anything can put doubt in me at this point. I am 100% certain NS will happen and the other pairings are dead. I know many say you shouldn't be like this, but I am. I don't have high expectations for scenes coming up and my views are more realistic, but I still feel that NS is 100% canon now. NH and SS had one last opportunities to make or break the tide and they failed and everything remained the same. Now, it is just too late to develop it and make it believable.

Ofcourse there is a connection between Rin and Sakura, both medic nins, both liked the cooler Alpha type teammate, and both were liked by their dobe teammate. Year personalities are not the same but situations are very similar. It's a good thing that even though on first reflection allot of the past gen appear to be very similar to Team seven, but they are quite different.

Well we felt the same way with Kushina, but until Obito says "You remind me of Rin" or something like that, I don't count it just yet.
